Very pleasant quiet hotel
I spent just one night at the Mae Rim Lagoon hotel as I was attending a function at another nearby hotel. The Lagoon Hotel is an older place, but very well maintained and very quiet. There is a nice little outdoor swimming pool, extensive grounds and helpful staff. The lagoon, however, has become dry because of changes in weather patterns. This is a pity as it used to be full of flowers and attracted many birds.

Friendly staff
This was a great hotel as it was near many activities. The staff were fabulous, very helpful. There are free bikes you can borrow to get to some of the attractions. The pool was very cold, but the gardens were lovely. The homemade cookies at Grandma's Cafe were too good.

great food, quiet hotel
staff, quiet location, restaurant
Really enjoyed our two night stay here. Staff were so sweet and friendly! The two restaurants here had delicious food, a bit expensive but not too bad considering it's a hotel restaurant. Also have a little bakery which had really nice fresh baking including cookies :) Quiet hotel grounds and lots of nice places to sit and relax. Right at the base of the mountains so convenient for a nice drive up to other restaurants. Really close to lots of great activities.
