Truly amazing stay”
I arrived on the last flight from Hanoi, and felt terrible for making them wait so late. They were happy to arrange a pick up from Da Nang airport, and after 45 minute drive later, Mr. Hat and his daughter Thao welcomed me with the brightest smile I've ever seen, with open arms. I have been traveling solo for over a week, and their genuine welcoming truly touched me, but that was just the beginning. The room was immaculately set up, putting any 5 star hotel to a shame. Mr. Hat retired from working in high end hotels, opened this two years ago, and it's been the family's dream, which they plan on expanding very soon. They clearly love their work. I originally booked for 2 nights, but I kept extending the stay, and eventually stayed for 4 nights. Not only Hoi An is an amazing place to visit, Magnolia Garden alone is the reason to visit.

BEST homestay experience”
Our stay in Magnolia was amazing! The family was extremely welcoming, friendly and provided a lot of insightful tips about Hoi An! Even though our stay was a short 2 days, they made us feel like we are part of their family. When we first arrived, they greeted us with smiles and welcomed us with drinks and fruits - we knew we made the right choice staying with the family and we never regretted our decision. The family really made us want to extend our stay in Hoi An but pity, we had a plane to catch. The house was well-renovated and the room was extremely comfortable - spacious and clean! Stay at Magnolia! ”
The family that owns Magnolia homestay is amazing. They make you feel welcome from the moment you walk in the door. They gave us a lot of good reccomendations on places to go (restaurants, tailors, etc.) and helped us book tours and busses. The center is a 10 min bike ride away, but the ride there and back is easy and seeing Hoi An on bicycle adds to the experience. Rooms (and bathrooms) are spacious, clean, comfortable, and modern. Our only regret is not staying longer. We definitely plan on returning to Magnolia and reccomend it to anyone staying in Hoi An.

Our stay at Magnolia Garden Villa was outstanding. The family are warm, generous, professional and best of all they love what they do. The rooms are beautifully furnished and comfortable. The crystal clear pool provides the perfect respite after a day exploring the city. The breakfast and courtesy bikes were also great bonuses. I hope to return one day. Dont think any further ... this is the best you can get ”
Our stay was very pleasant. First of all, we arrived very early and got early checkin. We were lucky and got an upgrade to deluxe room. The room was beautiful with everything u might need. There is pool if u wish to spend some time swimming. Ruby and her sister was very very nice hosts and ruby's daughter lee is a darling. They invited us for dinner with family during our stay and the food was ery good. They have bicycles for rent and the most beautiful ancient town is just 15 mins ride. We did not go to the beach beacuse we were so much in love with the ancient town. We even got some leather boots made during our stay. Our time in Hoi An was a highlight of our trip so far. Magnolia sure made it even better.

Perfect perfect perfect!”
I stayed at Magnolia for about 10 days. The staff was absolutely incredible. They greeted me by name every morning and were very helpful in telling me the best places to shop for certain items, booking tours, etc.. The room was very clean, breakfast was delicious, and the pool area is gorgeous. Loved that it was close to the Ancient Town and the beach. I would love to stay there again, and will definitely be recommending it to friends traveling to Hoi An!

The staff at Magnolia are very friendly and helpful. It was nice to meet and interact with the family while still having our own private space. We were able to use the provided bikes for free which was a great way to see Hoi An! We would definitely recommend Magnolia and stay again.

Excellent stay, amazing family!”
My stay at Magnolia Garden Homestay went very well. My room was nice, very comfortable and clean and the house is located about 10mins in bicycle from the old town so in a very quiet area. What made my stay sooo nice was the kindness of all the family members!! They spoilt me, did not hesitate to get up early for me etc. and even help me to buy good quality coffee and tea like locals!!! I highly recommand this place and get to know this very sweat family.

This was definitely the best stay we had in Vietnam! The family welcomes you with arms wide open and makes your stay as pleasant as you can imagine! The rooms are very clean and included breakfast is of the best quality! If I ever come back to Hoi An I will definitely go back to Magnolia Homestay again!!!

An incredible experience ”
I seldomly write a review within my trips,however, i will do this time to show our gratutide to all the family members here. Although we arrived in Hoi An at 5:30 am, rather early in the morning, we received a warm welcome by the host and his younger daughter. Knowing that we are setting out to My Son without lunch there, the host kindly gave us a package of biscuits. What a surprise! We also rented bicycles for free, and it's conveinent riding to the oldtown. If you want to be treated as a family member in a homestay/villa, it is a great choice to live here!

Just brilliant ”
Greeted by the family, introduced and shown around the hotel. The family had fruit and refreshments prepared for us and a very useful map were they took time to give us a idea about Hoi An. The room was clean, spacious, with a big bathroom, hot shower. AC was great and so quiet which ment having it on during the night was not a problem. Massive bonus: breakfast at whatever time you woke up!!!! First night we were invited for dinner with the guests and family. This was a great touch, food, and beer was free!! They were all so inviting and welcoming, nothing was to much hassle. Free bikes outside which the manager maintained himself, this ment the bike to the gorgeous beach was 10 minutes and into the town about the same. We enjoyed the beach, shopping, 'My Son', and the ancient town is a must. But most of all we enjoyed the homestay and the family! 100% would return if you go to Hoi An come here! Although, book in advance as they are never short of customers

We stayed at Magnolia Garden for our time in Hoi Ann. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. They are happy to help at any time. The pool area is lovely. We had a very pleasant stay. We felt like family!

Great Place to Stay”
This was our second visit to hoi an and our second time staying at the villa. Our first visit we lucked into having a ground floor room by the pool. It was fantastic! The room was so clean, had tons of space, a great washroom, and a cute patio that overlooked the pool. This visit we came with others who were looking forward to staying there. We went with the regular room to save money and switched after the first night. The regular rooms are great for young travellers who want something a bit better than a hostel. The rooms were very clean but small. The bathroom was also quite small and had a shower in the middle of the bathroom with no walls or curtain. I think it's pretty common in Vietnam. Just something we've never seen before. So once you take a shower, the rest of the bathroom is wet. What is really important to note is that the business is run by family and they are wonderful. Would highly recommend it, just understand that there is a huge difference in the rooms.

It felt like they were not doing homestay for money, but to meet tourists and give good impression on Vietnam. Great base for Hoi An!”
this is definitely one of the best places I stayed at during my travels in Southeast Asia! The family is extremely helpful and assisted me in getting to and from danang airport by booking a taxi. The location is about 1.5 km from the city center, but I actually preferred that since they lent me a bike and enjoyed the bike ride. They cooked an amazing family dinner during our stay which helped us get to know other travelers, and even gave us each gifts to celebrate the new year! Who does that?!? Small gripe might be that the my son tour that we booked had a pretty bad tour guide, but that might be a one-off. Still worth the trip if you're not going to Angkor wat. My room was extremely clean and comfy. Basically a hotel room. Wifi was good too. Please stay here if you're in Hoi An!

My husband and I had the best time at Magnolia. The family were so very friendly and attentive and helpful. The room was really lovely, well appointed and cleaned every day. Great value. We had dinner with the family on our last day even though we had booked out that morning. They seem to have a group dinner once a week. The family were absolutely gorgeous and kind. I will never forget my stay at Magnolia.

Where to start, the staff amazing, the room nice, the pool lovely. I cannot fault one thing about this place. Ruby was the most lovely lady we have met in Vietnam and really made us feel at home and did everything for us that she could. Her daughter is gorgeous and makes you smile. The breakfast was lovely and caters for everyone. You can rent bicycles from the hotel which is a must for Hoi An. The room was immaculate, with fresh water and was cleaned daily. I have told two different friends of mine to stay here already because it was the best place we’ve stayed in Vietnam. Thank you so much Ruby for a wonderful stay all the best for you and your family.

Like being at home”
Everybody says it and I will say it too. Magnolia is like coming home, but a home where you are being taken care of. The rooms are very clean and with space and with a good bathroom. Breakfast is tasty with very good and fresh bread every morning. Bikes are provided for free and they are in a good condition. For us it was an excuse to do some exercise.

We traveled from Da Nang to Hoi An, it only takes about 40 minutes to Mag Homestay. The staffs gave us warm welcome and they provided us many information about Hoi An. They also lent us bike to travel around. We had very good breakfast. They also helped us to exchange for currency at good rate when we only have a fell US dollars left. Lastly, they gave us souvenir when we leave. They were so nice. We missed them a lot.

Outstanding hospitality and service ”
We loved our stay at Magnoilia Homestay. The family is so friendly and hospitable. They met us on arrival with fresh fruit and water and sat down to relax with us after our long trip. They shared with us about the town of Hoi An and some of its attractions. They gave us a map and outlined the shopping areas and beaches. They served excellent breakfast every morning. We had use of bicycles every day to ride to the beach or into town. One evening they invited us to have dinner with them and they cooked the most amazing Vietnamese meal for us. It was great to sit amd get to know the family better. We had such an amazing stay that we ended up postponing our trip to DaNang and stayed an extra day with them. We really felt like part of the family staying here. We will be back for sure.
