Crème de La Crème”

Perfect, Staff super kind and helpful. Very pet friendly, so travel with your animal, you will love!!!! I saw dogs freely walking through and this was stunning!!!! My cats are on their way too!!!! Only saw youth people so I am having fun!!! The staying is short but believe me, I would love to stay longer!!! Bed is perfect, bathroom perfect, kitchen perfect!!! The central area is a plus, you have literally all on Main Street the behind street of the hotel. There is kinda a Café o the lounge and it is youth and modern, ideal for meet people as friends, or even informal business meetings shall be good too!). Trustworthy staff, kind, they are every time there for helping fast and serving generously! Love the experience would definitely live into it (if you are looking for a suite mine has kitchen and you may consider this one better than a regular room). Loving girls and guys, you may love it too. Crème de la crème in Dallas 💙 You may have your blast believe me! Ah and in the summer Dallas is like an oven but the room is climatized and I feel the perfect season inside my own room hehe. Come to Dallas, enjoy Magnolia, have your pet, enjoy the life and be extra happy! All the best, Camila

Awesome Location and great room and staff”

Some many great things about this hotel and only a couple minor issues. 1) upon check in, staff could not find my third party reservation. I had proof on my phone, but it turned out the third party did not send details to the hotel. In my extensive travel history, hotels always made me wait until the third party send confirmation. This hotel didn’t, and gave me a room right away. 2) My room was a suite, a beautiful view of AT and T plaza, with living room, kitchenette and queen bed. Also, the bathroom was clean and without any working problems. 3) The hotel location is perfect. Right down down, walking distance to West End JFK sites, close to the American Airlines Center for hockey and basketball games , close to many great eats include the Exchange food hall across the street, and near some local breweries. I could even walk to Deep Ellum and did make the 3 mile walk to Lakewood. There were only a couple of drawbacks. 1) first night, the sheets did not seem fresh. They were itchy. I asked for new ones and they were promptly brought up. 2) there were no wash clothes. Initially only one towel was in room, so I asked for another set of towels and only got one additional bath towel. Not a big deal, just a little different. 3) no room service. It’s a pandemic, so this made sense and I was very comfortable not having room service just to make my bed each day. No problem, but it may be useful to tell guests so that expectations are tempered. I love this hotel, staff and room. I will be back. Dallas is an awesome city and the Magnolia made my stay epic! Thanks!

Success Summit”

Stayed there Monday night to Thursday morning and the location couldn’t have been better. Drove in from Houston, checkin was quick and courteous. Right across the street from the ATT discovery district, which they don’t advertise enough, several restaurants with bars to choose from. I walked to and from the Kay Bailey Convention center daily and my time was FASTER than google and apple maps claims it to be. Had my first cup of coffee in my room and my second with breakfast at the cafe attached to the Magnolia. Prices at the Flying Horse coffee shop, look at the roof of Magnolia Dallas hotel, were realistic and service was quick. I had the oatmeal twice, perfect size and made to order. For cost per night and ease of getting to where I needed to be and time spent doing it, definitely will stay again and recommend to those having functions at the convention center or near “historic downtown Dallas”.

Fantastic location near Discovery Park and Great Restaurants”

Historic hotel with cool retro furniture, cozy feel in lobby. Great access to nearby food & drink. Very pedestrian-friendly. We stayed in room 2326, which is a kitchenette suite with separate bedroom and living room areas. Incredible skyline views to west include Reunion Tower and to the south overlooks Discovery Park. We enjoyed lounging on the living room couch when we wanted to escape the summer heat. It’s valet parking only, but they do offer text capability to have your car ready when you get downstairs. That was a really nice feature to avoid the valet queues. Overall we had a great weekend stay!

Perfect in every way possible..”

The hotel was absolutely beautiful. I was greeted with a friendly smile by the doorman whom directed me to the front desk where I was welcomed by a wonderful staff that had me checked in within minutes. I was taken back by my spacious room and the incredibly beautiful view from the 22nd floor. Everything was within walking distance of the hotel which was perfect. When I checked out the staff was just as warm and energetic. I can guarantee that I will be returning and recommending this hotel to everyone. My visit was perfect in every way possible..

Request a room AWAY from the road.”

This was a great hotel and location. Really top notch. Having said that, the city of Dallas allows street racing virtually all night in front of this hotel. Our room overlooked the street. If we ever return, we will request a twentieth floor or above and facing away from the street. The receptionist said the city of Dallas is aware of the issue and sometimes block the road to prevent the racing. I would not stay here again unless I knew I would be immune from the road noise. It was literally like being at a speedway. Soooo, sooooo loud. We were 13th floor facing the road.

Great location!”

The Magnolia is located across the street from the AT&T Discovery Center plaza where many activities take place on the weekends. The plaza also has a food court which includes a small bar. You do not have to go far to be entertained at night. The rooms at the hotel are comfy and clean. We could have used replenishment of coffee supplies daily without asking.

Downtown Dallas!!”

This hotel is great. I hadn't been in almost two decades, but we made it back last night. Super-friendly staff. That always gets an extra star or three from me. The location is...well, it's Dallas. It's in the heart of downtown. The room was not huge, but I'm not hosting a party; we were there for a concert, so we were not there much, but it was exactly what we needed. It was great! Clean, well-kept. It was perfect for my wife and I. It's on the short list of go-to hotels in Dallas. Such a great experience.

Unexpected Oldish Style”

The hotel is trying to preserve the look and feel of its root. This is definitely refreshing from the regular hotels we usually end up in. Original wooden wall covers, sturdy old doors,... The style of the rooms felt very nice to me, very genuine. That said some people may not like the trade off with modern look and maybe confort. Beds are very good but queen size. The toilet seat looked designed more for kids than adults, but once again, they are sticking to the original. I had a nice little study with a desk. The fridge was obviously an add on and more work could have been done to make it less intrusive in this well preserved environment. I was surprised that still in July 2022 there is no room cleaning while someone occupies the room. It would have been less of a surprise to communicate it ahead of time. We can just thank COVID for that... Location is right in the hart of downtown.

Amazing!”

Cousin and i stayed for concert in Fair Park! This is my 3rd time here! Perfect location and atmosphere! Loved it! The only thing is some of the younger people that were staying there were not dressed appropriately. If i had kids, they should not have witnesses some of the things we saw. One woman did not even have pants on, she was in fishnets with nothing underneath. I think there was some kind of comic convention of some sort. All in all will definitely stay again!

Very nice hotel in a good location if you want to be in downtown Dallas”

Short staffed like everyone else right now. The hotel is nice. Ask for a room on an upper floor with a good view. But -be warned- AT&T Center across the street is loud every single night. It didn’t bother us but you might want to ask if they have quieter rooms. Everyone who works here is really nice. Oh - parking is hard to come by. Let the valets handle your car.

Weekend trip”

Really amazing downtown spot that’s extremely walkable. 10 minute walk from the aquarium, AT&T discovery across the street, fantastic cafes and food spots. The historic nature of the building was awesome. We were on the 16th floor and you could hear the traffic or live bands but we didn’t mind because we were high enough where it wasn’t overwhelming. I’d recommend higher floors to those that want to make sure traffic noises sounded further. The unit we had was cute and cozy and we frequently would come up to the room to rest. There is daily/24 hour parking nearby that we used instead of valet so we’re unable to comment on their valet service. The ONLY con of the room was the sounds in the hall of other people’s doors that would make it sound as if someone was trying to get into our room. Other than one incident of loud teens/young adults in the hall, you don’t hear your neighbors or anyone else on the floor. Staff have all been polite and courteous during our whole stay. We didn’t need to ring them for anything

We have always wanted to stay here but it’s usually very expensive! We got very lucky this time and scored a deal. I, myself, was having surgery so I only got to stay 1 night but I loved it!!! Great location, no kitchen”

Travelling for business, it's a great location in Dallas. It's a lovely older building that's been updated. The lobby is cool - huge red pegasus statue, chic decor. Wifi is strong. Lots of fluffy towels in the bathroom, and the shower body wash smelled really good - I'll have to see where I can buy that. The rooms' window treatments are a bit of a hassle - someone decided fabric shades on rope pulleys were a good idea. They aren't. There's no kitchen, so there's no room service nor breakfast BUT there's a nice little shop connected to the hotel for quick brunch items and the coffee is excellent. Staff are friendly. The front doors don't automatically open, making it tough if you have luggage or are disabled. I noticed an empty slushie cup in the elevator in the morning that was making a sad puddle by the buttons. My room was missing a hair dryer; I called down for one, and was handed a sticky old dryer through the door. It worked after I cleaned it up. When I checked out, there was a big glass bowl and nobody was manning the desk. When I called out, a woman came out looking confused as to why I'd interrupted her conversation with a co-worker behind the wall, and told me to just toss the room card in the bowl, then she went back to her conversation. So, not a perfect stay BUT for the money and the location, I'd stay here again. Just bring my own dryer.

Exceptional”

We have stayed at the Magnolia Hotel Downtown Dallas a couple of times and we have not had any complaints. We had a couple of small issues but the staff took care of things immediately. It is in a perfect location for us and plan on staying at Magnolia several times through out the year.

Great location ”

This is right across the street from the AT&T building. There are lots of restaurants. Short walk to convention center. Rooms were nice. Beds good. Quiet in hotel unless there is live music across the street but music ended early.

Great location in downtown Dallas”

We were in town for a robotics event at the nearby convention center. The area was perfect with The Exchange nearby for lots of food options. Another meal was at a great BBQ place not far away
