Centrally located near top attractions and shopping, this vintage-style hotel offers incredible skyline views. The friendly and attentive staff provide exceptional customer service. Guests can enjoy delicious coffee at the lobby shop and breakfast at the downstairs café. Many guests have expressed their satisfaction with the hotel, praising their great experience.

As most will tell you, the Magnolia Dallas is in the historic Mobile Building. The building itself is really nice; in an art deco-like architecture. But the amenities are certainly lacking - There's seemingly no restaurant or bar open any longer onsite, however there is a small cafe open next door which has a great amount of options of bites and drinks/coffee. The hotel itself is located in a peculiar area of historic downtown - close to a lot of attractions but at night it is a little shifty with an apparent presence of the homeless population out and about. The room itself will be hit and miss depending on where you're situated. Our room was a modest 1 Queen bedroom with a small loveseat and desk in the room. The room itself looks like it had seen better days and the consensus is that the entire site could seriously undergo heavy renovations. My experience was no different. We were fortunate enough that our room was, for the most part, clean; No sign of bedbugs (seems to have been a common complaint across some reviews). Our mini fridge was showing its age in the sense that it puddled some small bit of water upon arrival. Some of the bathroom tile seemed loose and the floor underneath seemed to allude that the bathroom had water damage in it at some point in time, the shower curtain rings have been crudely cut to replace the curtain at some point. But ironically, the shower and bathroom generally seemed fairly clean - No signs of mold anywhere that you could see without having to poke or overturn something to find it. Contrary to most reviews, our room AC on the fifth floor was not the best. Running on high, the room would not go lower than maybe 75/72 degrees farenheight at best. So not entirely unbearable for Spring but it was noticably warmer once the sun was out and that was even with the blackout shades closed. Additionally, to confirm most: Turndown service does NOT occur daily. So if you're staying for more than 3 nights and want clean towels, you will have to check with the desk. However we did receive a few very light knocks each morning between 10-11 am. But when checked, there was no sign of housekeeping or otherwise. So I don't know if we would have gotten fresh towels daily at the very least. But turndown definitely does not occur unless requested. All in all, not a terrible hotel. It was at the very least, clean (which is all I mostly look for) and short of the AC, fairly comfortable. Decent value but be aware that you will need to make compromises if you select this hotel.
This is my one and only hotel I choose to stay when in Dallas. I stopped counting how many times now but the hotel staff are always friendly. Rooms super clean and service is beyond expectation. I can only say I will always choose Magnolia above all others!!
This hotel is old school in its appearance but the service is great. It's central to so much. Parking space is an issue if you don't want valet; however, it's downtown Dallas, so EVERYwhere you go is the same. If you like a city's walkability, you'll love this area of Big D. The staff is pleasant and they return the call if they are assigned to find anything for you. They have a gym but no pool. Only suites have microwaves. Those seeking one must go to the 25th floor, where you can also wash your clothes, to use the only one for everyone else. It is kept clean. Unfortunately, all of that info came from fellow customers on the elevators not the staff. There is no attached restaurant but a breakfast bar (like Starbucks) is there. My stay was during the NBA finals so there was access to the public watching it outside across the street. It gave a unique ambience that I wouldn't have gotten anywhere else. The valets were all very pleasant. I'd likely stay there again if in the area.
This hotel is centrally located in downtown Dallas. We always select a suite which is like a high rise apartment complete with full refrigerator, dining table, living room and seperate bedrooms. I have stayed here several times. Onsite coffee shop. No onsite restaurants. No onsite parking. When there are big events or the hotel is sold out, plan to wait a long time for elevators or take the stairs. Ice machines are not on every floor but, suites have in room icemakers. Suites also have many comforts of home like wine glasses, dishes to reheat food and coffee cups. Most of the time, the staff is amazing and accommodating. This most recent visit, one of the front desk ladies wasn't very pleasant. She tried to recharge me for the room that I prepaid for and was put off when I showed her my receipt that I had already paid. She had to look a little harder and never apologized for being wrong. They will also only take your $100 room deposit with a credit card. No debt cards or cash.

Okay so this red horse building is something I always saw as a child but never paid attention. Well as an adult it was super nostalgic to actually stay here. It's a very old, yet well maintained building. All of the staff we super friendly and helpful. The room was very spacious and clean. The room has a tub, coffee make and fridge. It's in central downtown so many places are easily walkable - just ignored the zombies, apparently they're all across the USA these days. But in you want a late night snack, theres a CVS just around the corner.
