The staff were friendly and very helpful! The place was very clean and so beautiful on the inside me and my 3 year old daughter loved the inside view she was so amazed I would definitely visit again!!

My 18 year old son traveled solo to visit his college and was staying at a horrible hotel. I called Magnuson and Charlotte was a godsend, she said "don't worry we will get your baby". The shuttle picked up my son late at night from the horrible hotel and assured me he was safe. Cant tell you how that made me feel. My son made friends with staff and were able to commute him to his school and the mall. Love this hotel!!! Thank for everything!!

I rarely ever leave negative reviews… but goodness me. I am all about a budget hotel, but this place was sketch. There was dried blood on the wall, bugs crawling around, the bathtub wouldn’t stop dripping and the tiles were being pulled off the wall so there was a huge gap between the tub and the tiles. I legit didn’t feel comfortable taking a bath. The carpet felt so gross I always wore socks or kept my shoes on. I’m sure it hasn’t been cleaned in years. The front desk lady was as nice as could be, but she can’t fix the rooms. My key rarely worked so she always had to reset it. I had a first floor room 136 and it wouldn’t open from the outside entrance. I just wouldn’t recommend this place at all. Go somewhere else!

The hotel from hell”
First off they require a $100 deposit and the rooms look like a 2hrs for $20 type of hotel room. Then the receptionist was M.I.A for over a hour with a note stating "making rounds" (checking rooms in other words) but she was nowhere to be found because we searched for her and this was around 7pm. Our first thoughts were if she checking rooms then who are cleaning the room? If she is the only one at work to a 4 floor hotel (which we searched all 4 floors and never saw her) how could anything be of good service? So we ended up booking somewhere else. Later on that night (because of a party we had there in lounge) we ran into her and guy who looked like a friend of hers walking out a door lol

The main lobby stood out but it was like a ghost town..restaurant was closed and decor was outdated..this could be a great hotel if they did upgrades and have a friendly staff n upbeat to the place

Gnats in the room. Mold everywhere. Nothing was clean. Everything was broke. Shower curtain...broke...AC broke on our first night! I mean someone came to fix it but it was 6 hours later. Its a cheap place when you need a pillow to lay your head but I would not recommend. Period.

This Hotel is for hookups”
This Hotel used to be special but it is very rundown and dirty now. They have a club that meets down stairs that plays hip hop/rap type music. In a pinch, it is okay for a night but if you are traveling with a family you might consider spending a bit more and doing something else. I've stayed hotels all over the world, this one is not a deal.

Agora am Magnuson both acted as if they didn’t understand the pay system an charged me twice on a book now pay later room they charged me online n at the room an had an issue refunding my money back..... hotel is nice with some ducked up spots the pool is not open the bar is an it’s nice

This was the worst hotel stay ever there was no continuity breakfast the staff is very young and ghetto there is never a manager on site you can speak with all of the rooms are being renovated so there is plastic and blue tape all over every window and the pool was very dirty and dry also they have very poor and limited parking, I paid extra money for nothing and was mad I brought my children along

Very Disappointing”
The rooms were old and out dated and NOTHING WORKED. The 1st room i check into the TV and AC did not work at all. The 2nd room they moved me to the AC did not work. The 3rd room was much better but needs work. I was only there 2 days so this was AWFUL. My family and i use to love coming to this hotel when we visited Desoto but it has change for the worst.

Much fancier place then it looks from the outside. Rooms were clean and staff friendly. A little disappointed by the breakfast, when they gave us coupons and said breakfast was served in the restaurant I was expecting a real restaurant but it was just the standard waffle, biscuit gravy etc that most motels have.

Sauna Hotel - Dirty - Falling Apart - In Desparte Need of TLC”
Based on the reviews I booked this room for 3 weeks (business travel). Agoda provided a great deal. The bed was very comfortable and cool during an extreme heat wave in TX. However, the breakfast was HORRIBLE! The juice is so watered down, guests dump the juice out until it overflows onto the floor. The food has NO flavor at all. It was easy to see the food was reheated from the days before. Upon attempting to eat the fruit cocktail, I quickly spit it our as it was clear it had fermented as it was very sour. (People were feeding this to their babies! OMG!!) There was NO AC in the huge atrium area. Many guests were complaining, but staff were unconcerned. I requested my sheets be changed; didn't happen. The overall hotel is falling apart with paint peeling from the walls, baseboards lying on the ground, lobby couches are ripped and torn. If you need a room to sleep, its a good nights sleep at a good price, but if you are staying for any length of time, pass this one up.
