A very homely hotel!
It was really out of my expectation. The location is superb, not too far from the city where some of the attractive such as Hawa Mahal and City Palace etc. yet away from the noise and hassle. The staff are helpful and friendly. It wasn't a peak season, hence had a chance to chat a little with the staff to know more about the house/hotel. This family run hotel gives a very homely feeling/service to the guest. :-)

just about satisfactory
The room was reasonably clean and location good. The most disappointing is staff, the few encountered were not very friendly (probably due to the language barrier).

Not worth it
Nothing, maybe the location being closer the activity area
First of all I arrived at the hotel, and I had to wait for 30mins as the reception as there were no one around! No towels in the bathroom, which means I had to wait again for someone to turn up at the reception to get one! No drinking water in the room! All in all an underwhelming experience! Go at ur own risk if all you need a place to crash at the end of the day! And the room was very cold!

Clean, simple and fast staff
It was a very clean room, large bed, and very fast servic
Our stay was fine. Clean, simple room. The only thing we would change was that the room didn't feel all that secure, there was no real lock, just a padlock, and the room door opened to the outside. That being said, it served its purpose and the staff was great.

Best place to stay in Jaipur
big room, good internet connection, excellent service
I enjoyed my stay very much in Mahar Haveli. Location is excellent; it's only around 10-15 min walk away from the City Palace and the Hawa Mahal, and if you want to take a rickshaw, it'd only cost 30 rupees. The room was big; I loved the old-world decor. The chairs and tables were made of wood, and lighting was soft and welcoming. There was both AC and fan, and most important for me, high-speed internet. Breakfast was included, too, with the price. The best thing, though, is the staff. They were super friendly and service was excellent! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this hotel. I would have paid more; as it is, it's very good value for the money. Hands down, this is the best place I've stayed in India!
