How Green Was My Valley!”
I arrived at Mai Chau Lodge with modest expectations, so I was overjoyed by the hotel's beautiful lobby, and my room with view of mountains and shimmering lake. Every morning delicious breakfast was served in a gorgeous dining room, and I took a bike ride by the green rice fields of the valley, and swam in the hotel's refreshing pool. Best of all, the hotel staff members deserve 5 stars for their outstanding and gracious service. Tours of the nearby peaceful villages, arranged by hotel staff, were unforgettable. I cannot say enough about my wonderful stay was at Mai Chau Lodge.

Ideal Base for Exploring”
While on a bicycle trip across northern Vietnam, we were fortunate enough to book a night here. We only wish we could’ve stayed a few days longer! This is the ideal base from which to explore the Mai Chau area. The staff was excellent, rooms very clean & well-maintained, and the food delicious.

Excellent hospitality service”
Our second stay and we love every minute of it thanks to the excellent hospitality service. Staff were extremely nice and helpful, particularly the restaurant staff who were kind enough to help us prepare a generous room breakfast. The hotel provided complimentary bicycles, kayaks and dry/steam sauna and swimming pool. They helped us book our bus back to Hanoi. They also organised a great cultural performance with dances and music for guests. We'll definitely come back.

since that was my second stay at their property the management was very kind to offer me a complimentary room upgrade which made my stay even better.. the staff is super kind and the check-in process took about 5-10 seconds (i mean it!) i definitely recommend this property for all.. thank you so much for your great hospitality and i'll stay at your place again some time in near future for sure ^^

Mai Chau lodge is located in probably the best location. It’s on the corner of the main road into town and the beautiful rice fields. Very romantic, quiet and beautiful as is the lodge. Excellent place and the food was amazing as well. The staff are top notch with food and making sure you are well taken care of. Great place.

Warm welcoming. Nice junior suite with lake view. Top level service. Near of all you need to visit and of Mai Chau city. A piano in the basement so my son could play every morning in front of the lake. So nice!

Good value for money ”
Room is very good. Staff are nice. No special view from the room. It's not nice like the Ecolodge but for half the price it seems fare, since you can go around in the fields and villages during the day.

A beautiful lodge with a great restaurant and wonderful breakfast buffet. The staff were amazing and we would recommend this hotel to anyone. The bicycles could be updated, but that's a small negative.

A jewel in a beautiful location.”
We had the junior suite that overlooked the pool and the lilly's in the lake with the mountains as a backdrop. It was big and comfortable. We walked everywhere, sat by the pool, and read on our balcony. After three weeks of traveling this was the perfect place to relax.

I travel with my family. The service staff are very dedicated and thoughtful. Although this is a 3 star hotel, it has good service like a 4 star hotel. Will definitely come back to this hotel.

Great stay in the valley”
Lovely location, comfortable room, welcome cooling pool and great food. Lots of information provided - even 5&10 km running route maps! Excellent WiFi and generally a very nice homely feel to the place. Very nice staff. We felt the bathroom could do with some improvement. The shower cubicle desperately needs a shelf! They provide shampoo and shower gel in wide glass bottles but they have to be left on the shower floor and it’s not easy to dispense them due to the location and size. Needs a new shower head and bracket that can be moved up and down. Restaurant was excellent with lovely staff but the food takes a while to arrive. They do explain this in the menu so just order a drink or two and enjoy!

Amazing hotel and good staff ”
We came to the hotel and the staff helped us with everything we need They gave us a free tour guide to a beautiful cave and a free kayak and bicycle. The food was very good and the staff was very friendly and nice.

Small place but good service”
The hotel was small and next to the main road, which is not an idea for a place to rest. However, it was surprised me that the staff is very friendly, professional. Room was nice with good traditional decorations. My room is in the opposite site with the main road so that it was quiet. Pool is small but good water quality. It was fun to ride bikes to surrounding areas ... Traditional dance in the evening was exceptionally good which was ended with bamboo dancing and drinking local wine via a bamboo sticks together with guests. it was lovely to stay here.
