Great Value for Vegas”
Comfortable King Size Bed/Room with a view from 17th floor for 40 bucks + Resort Fee (16). Free Wifi in room is worthless, but free Wifi in casino is fine. Brewery is good! Salmon Sushi = meh, not good salmon Pizza = meh
No resort fee reasonable priced hotel”
A bit old, but price is very good and location is good for us to go to LVCC. However, noise of the train is a bit headache, as it is facing the railroad. Near to down town and it's nice to hang out at night, though the whole area is a bit old, but still a lot of excitement at night time
Everything’s good except for the location!”
The only nearest spot here is the freemont experience street, but all the places that you would mostly go in Las Vegas are in the strip which is far away from this hotel. It costed us too much on Lyft, whereas with that cost we can already stay at a luxurious hotel in the strip. BUT... as for this hotel, room is clean, spacious, and surprisingly quiet! Air conditioning’s best with the weather. Staff were accommodating, didnt have a problem with check in/out. But pool’s on the other hotel. Overall it was a nice stay!
We were two friends traveling. Excellent facilities for the price. We used Lyft to take us to The Strip so extra cost there traveling to/from location. After being around all the people on the busy Strip, we enjoyed coming back to Main Street Station- quieter, less people. Quick walk to Freemont. Room was clean and comfortable. No issues there. Staff very friendly except for one bellman. Shout out to one of the gals who works as a cashier in the buffet restaurant - super friendly! We enjoyed our conversation with her both mornings we were there.
I was on the 12th floor not knowing there was a train track in the back. from around 12 midnight till the wee hours in the morning, trains pulling over 40 cars kept passing thru. Boy, were they loud. But this was my first time staying in this hotel. I went down and spoke to the reception desk. They asked me if I wanted to change room, but I had already unpacked my suitcase and felt it was too troublesome to pack everything back up. So I opted to just stay in the same room and endure the trains.
Great beds, clean, large room excellent as always
Good hotel at downtown Vegas”
We stayed here after a week at the strip. A nice base for exploring Freemont Street and also near the North Premium outlets. The room is spacious with basic amenities. We like the hotel atmosphere, less ostentatious than the hotels at the strip.
Very Good Hotel Off the Strip”
The hotel and its facilities were great. The bed was comfortable and and the room was clean. The staff at the front desk were very helpful as well. I have given it only three stars only because the location does not make you feel you are in Vegas. The hotel is located downtown and off the strip in a quiet area but yet very close to all the downtown attractions. The Buffet at the hotel was not as great as the reviews. I was expecting a great buffet given the reviews but found it very average. There was an OK choice and variety but the quality was debatable. The hotel also provides free parking which is a definite plus. Have reduced one star on facilities as there is no free wi-fi, which is a basic requirement at any hotel in this day and age.
Great action but can be noisy”
Loved the garden buffet, casino atmosphere was good. The staff members were nice and friendly. Only problem is that our room was facing the highway and the noise bothered us (goes on all night). Rooms are not soundproof.
Great value for the money”
Great place, especially for the money. Main Street Station Casino is much better than other downtown hotels, Cleaner and recently remodeled. Easy access to the Fremont Street Experience. I would definitely stay there again, business or pleasure. I will say that the buffet is only adequate, especially for the price.
Older hotel but very up to date ”
Spacious rooms, no one loitering around like some other Las Vegas hotels I've stayed in. This was by far the most affordable hotel in Vegas in New Years. I was surprisingly impressed with this hotel. I would highly recommend it.
Thanksgiving in Vegas”
A good hotel to stay to enjoy the festivities ar Fremont Street which is just 5 minutes walking distance away. Also, it is a 20 minutes walk to the North Premium Outlet. Less flashy than the hotel at the Vegas strip but has it charms.
Quick family sports trip... ”
The room was clean. The beds were comfortable. It was 2 blocks from the Fremont Street Experience. There are 2 good restaurants in house. It's close to the freeway. The staff was friendly. The price was right...end of story.
My recent stay”
My stay was pleasant and very comfortable. The one thing that disturbed me a lot was I always check the bed linens for cleanliness. I was horrified to find other people's hair head in the linen fitted sheet over mattress! Then I found what looke like genital hair as well. I took off linen and used my own. Good thing I travel with a back up! All in all the trip and staff of hotel were very gracious. Maybe have better supervision of room cleaning.
Authentic Vegas! ”
A really nice and authentic place to stay right next to Fremont Street. 2 downs though : you have to pay for wi-fi even when you're staying at the hotel (!) and the air co is pretty noisy, makes it hard to keep it on at night. The Casino is really nice and the buffet is the best in town!
Power went out”
Power went out for 5 hours through the night and no compensation whatsoever. No power means no AC either and it is hell hot in Las Vegas in the summer. I stayed out of my room and hung out in other hotels most of the night. At least an apology or food voucher or something for the inconvenience... but nothing.
Tired premises and staff”
The hotel/casino is past its best - even for the Fremont area. Room comfortable enough. Gaming area very dated. Prices for breakfast and dinner were beaten by the neighbouring California. Reception on arrival was pleasant, but all later dealings with Bell staff and other reception staff were not: they did not seem to even try to help. We'll stzy elsewhere if we go to Fremont again.
Price was great, room was spacious, located near Fremont Street.
Good buffet. $8.99
Large clean room, comfortable and affordable”
always happy staying at this hotel, will book it again
