Exceptional”
It was my first time to travel in Bacolod and I highly recommend this simple pension house. When we entered the the house it felt like I traveled back to 1980's because of the ambiance of the place. Nostalgic! When we checked in to our room it's a combination of modern design and old fashioned design because of the floorings. Ate Cora was very nice. One thing I love about this place is aside from the fact that it's very clean the wifi connection was really fast. I had to work at night so I booked this place because of the reviews that I've seen online and yes I was right! There is only one thing I didn't like. . .the gate closed at 12mn. I hope they adjust it until 5am for those who wanted to have some coffee or drink after 12mn. All in all it was good!

Every time would chose this place”
It is the second time we stay here and we didnt see any cockroaches which is rare in tropical country. Very good internet. Clean and quiet. Although they dont have double bed their beds are big and comfortable. It is very nice to have free coffee and noodles. There is a bakery shop near there if you love having pastry with your coffee.

Stayed for two nights and we didn’t encounter any problems or issues whatsoever. Staffs are super nice, air conditioning works great, the place is very clean. They also provide free coffee and cup noodles everyday. Thank you. :) Will be back.

If you want to tour the city of Bacolod, I would recommend to stay at this place. With the location and price, we've got a real deal. There's hot and cold, there's wifi and aircon. They also provided us coffee and noodles for 3 days. What more can you ask for in a resting place? Sir Bob and Miss Cora are both kind and accommodating. Try it out! :)

Stayed for 5 nights... No complaints at all... For 630peso per night, definitely couldn't ask for more and I will stay here every time I visit Bacolod in future... Old but good”
this is an old place in bacolod but i just discovered it. I was surprised that inside, everything looks new and extremely clean. The housekeepers are good people and they give you complementary food and coffee. this wont be too easy to find for foreigners, but once you do, it will all be a breeze. I wanna book this hotel again.

Best for Backpackers”
We arrived in Bacolod around 2AM . The place can easily be located , it’s just few minutes away from the port (we took Roro from iloilo) The lady who assisted us (forgot her name) did not hesitate when we ask l if we can leave our bags since we are going to Lakawon , super “early check in” . The room has two single beds , what we like about is the large restroom with hot shower . 4 stars for location - no jeepneys passing by on 123 lacson street, only can and tricyle. 4 stars on facilities - the pillows are not too comfortable,, sumakit neck ko, sa friend ko okey naman daw, depende lang siguro sa preference ng fluffiness ng pillows ☺️😊 Overall experience - satisfied! . 👌🏻👍🏻

Highly recommended for those travelling on a budget. Value-for-money-wise, Mainstreet os the best. 1. Good location. It's along Lacson Street, Bacolod's main street, meaning taxis are easy to get by. Just outside the gate is an authentic Korean restaurant. Across the street is a well-stocked budget food house. 2. Complete basics: air conditioned room. Comfortable beds. Clean linen. Big pillows. Own washroom. Hot shower. Clean toilet. Spotless mirror.Cable TV. Wi-Fi. And a nice touch: a never empty hot and cold water dispenser outside your room. 3. Personal touch. The owner is accessible through text messages. The owner himself replies --within minutes -- to your text messages. 4. The main gate is always open. You can get in and out of your room any time of the day. Or night. You hold on to your key all the time.

Great place apart from loud noise later at night”
Great friendly service, good location but no windows in the room and the Korean restaurant shares a plywood wall which is very noisy until after 11pm.
