Very good hotel near city center and in garden district. You can walk ard and look at beautiful historic housrs and take tram to center. Hotel has swimming pool and includes hefty breakfast. Only con is they say there is no parking and it codts $30 a day when in fact there is parking on side street available.

I checked in on Nov. 30th and checked out on Dec. 3rd. On December 2nd I left the hotel at 7:30am to go to work and returned in the evening around 6 pm to find that my room had not been made up. I walked down to the front desk to ask how come my room had not been made up. The woman at the desk, replied that it was a matter to be discussed with house keeping and then asked me if there was anything I needed. Well, yes I would need for my room to be made up! But it was too late. I told the front desk that I was "not"happy. There was no reply. I decided to sleep on the other side of the bed, only to find " under " the sheet that there was the plastic cover of a Wendy's cup. Considering that my sheets had not been changed since the night before that plastic cup cover must have been there a long time. Needless to say, I slept in my clothes and left the next morning at 7:30. I will not only NOT return nor will I ever recommend this hotel. Fiona Petito

We stay here every year.”

We have family in New Orleans and visit once a year. Access to the trolley is directing in front of the hotel to take you either to the French Qatar or to Tulane. Also, the little pool is a refreshing treat on the hot summer days. Nice hotel for the price.

Great Price and Location ”

I was skeptical about our stay due to the reviews. However, it was worth every penny! It was a short distance from Bourbon st, about a 5-10 min drive depending on traffic. The rooms were clean, they were not spotless, but clean enough! The staff was great and responded well to all of our needs!

Great hotel in a fantastic location”

Great room and perfect location however the room often wasn't made up during our stay. Also, I had to pen my wine with corkscrew at the reception as they only had one and wouldn't lend it out!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The layout of the hotel made it lovely and quiet. It was also just a short trolley ride just outside the hotel entrance into New Orleans downtown where ther is heaps to do. We would definitely come back to this hotel.

The rooms were a good size for what we wanted. We did have trouble getting our computer working and had to take it down to the desk to get help.
