Nice restaurant and cafe onsite. Rooms were top notch. Great staff and service.”

Great value for a top notch hotel. Nice restaurant and cafe onsite. Rooms were top notch. Great staff and service. The hotel is right on P.Burgos st. Which is in the red light district of Makati. You have the option of engaging in the night life. Or there is always a metered cab passing through the neighborhood. If you prefer to be closer to the malls, shopping and first class restaurants or the business district. Then I recommend staying closer to Ayala near greenbelt mall. Nonetheless Makati Palace Hotel is near any of the Manila activities, just a quick cheap can ride away and this hotel is top class in Manila.

Fun location smart hotel”

Presentation , location and price

I had a relaxing fun stay at this smart hotel right in the middle of nightlife Makati . My girlfriend met me in Manila and we spent 4 nights at the Makati Palace hotel which is located in the heart of night life region of Makati region of Manila about a 25 minute taxi drive from the international airport at Aquino . I enjoyed visiting the Cafe Cubana which is right opposite the Makati Palace hotel together with a wide choice of bars and restaurants . The hotel is ideally suited for shopping and night clubbing and on this occasion I dined at the Hard Rock Cafe with my companion which is close by. The hotel has a pool and entertainment centre and I did manage to have a swim during my stay in the hotel pool . Restaurant provides good buffet breakfast and helpfull staff . My girlfriend left her ear rings in the bathroom but they were quickly picked up by the attentive housekeeping department and arrangements made to hold them safe for later collection . The room was a smoking room and as a non smoker I would comment that it would be nice to have available non smoking rooms which in modern times must be in greater if not majority demand .

GREAT PLACE TO STAY”

I liked the room-- large enough to be comfortable and clean. Very nice staff. They were very helpful any time I asked for any help. The hotel is close to the airport. My wife and I both love swimming in the hotel pool. One night we ate supper next to the pool and enjoyed that very much.
The hotel car is much more expensive than a metered taxi. I Always take metered taxis. You have to find a driver who will run the meter. If they say no tell them to get lost and find another cab. The law says they have to use the meter, but they take advantage of foreigners who don't know that. And just skip the hotel car. You don't even want to ask the price. It's too high. Makati Palace needs more american style meal choices.

I have stayed at Makati Palace Hotel atleast 7 different times. I have stayed at 2 other hotels, in Manila, one of which is closed, the other is cock roach infested and not worth mentioning. Makati was always clean and bug free. The buffet style breakfast at Makati Palace was worth the money I thought. They also have a few good meals at night. They make the best mango shake anywhere. I get one with every evening meal there. In the morning they have an excellent omelet and a nice variety of food at the buffet. I'll be back there whenever I go to manila again.

Very Satisfied Customer”

The hotel is large and busy but very impressive and runs effectively and excellently like a well crafted high class Swiss watch. The staff are wonderful and so efficient, helpful and friendly. Had some initial problems checking into a newly refurbished upgrade of a room that I was given instead of a studio one booked and had to return with cases to reception but they just quickly more than compensated me by upgrading me to a one bedroom executive suite that was just amazing ! I really really enjoyed my stay in November at the Makati Palace Hotel - it is like a secure and safe island paradise in a way part and parcel of the world outside at large and yet a world apart. Thankyou Makati Palace for being so friendly welcoming and accommodating and keeping me safe and making my stay so satisfying.

Fantastic, as always!”

The staff, the staff, the staff! What else can I say. It's a great hotel for the buck and most importantly the staff is always courteous, professional and friendly, particularly the front desk.

My stay at Makati Palace was great as always. It has become my home away from home when I am in Makati on business. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. The rooms are always clean and well laid out. The restaurant serves a good breakfast at a great price. The only things I would love to see change are the lack of free internet( most area hotels have) and doing away with the P2000 deposit upon check in. It is a minor inconvenience but an inconvenience nonetheless to have to wait for them to check the room upon checkout so I can get my deposit. They have my credit card on file. I've stayed there 9 or 10 times now. Seems a little silly. Either way, I will continue to choose Makati Palace for my lodging needs.

Pretty Good Hotel Right In The Heart of Makati”

You are literally a hop, skip, and a jump from Makati`s night life when you stay at this hotel

this was my second time to stay at this hotel. i have no major complaint about this hotel. it`s decent, clean, and super-conveniently located near makati`s nightlife. it`s at least as good as the oxford suites (which is half a block away). i think makati palace hotel`s staff is a bit friendlier than the oxford suites, however. my only minor gripe is that my room did not have a safe. apparently, some rooms at the makati palace hotel have them and some don`t. my didn`t. and, running down to the safety deposit box on the first floor when i needed cash was slightly inconvenient.

Good value for money”

Inexpensive, clean, good facilities

Whenever I am in Manila I stay at the Makati Palace Hotel. I have tried other hotels in the area but this one is my favourite. The staff are always friendly and helpful, the rooms are cleaned every day and the range of food available in the restaurant and the rooftop pool bar is always extensive. Security is better than a lot of hotels, the doormen don't let strangers just wander in and this is comforting when you are a young lady travelling alone.

Royal Treatment at Makati Palace”

From arrival they let me check in early and the Jeline at the reception gave me a free upgrade which was a really nice large room on the 7th floor with a good view. Everything about the room and bathroom was well maintained and at a higher level than you find at most hotels in the area and with a king size bed that was very comfortable. Customer service was excellent in every areas, starting in the restaurant with Jhoy, Lein and Mel leading a great team. Cristain my housekeeper kept the room clean on my schedule and stocked with water, towels and the other essentials. Great overall state and i would highly recommend the makati palace hotel to anyone going to be in the area or close to the area.

Had a great time. All the staff was attentive”

location, attentive staff, quality food, adequate gym

Had a great time at the Makati Palace Hotel. my only complaint was the location of the room, in that you could hear the traffic below from the 5th floor. During my next stay I will ask for a deluxe king with an inside location. Other than that, the staff was most helpful, particularly Joyce at the front desk. The bellmen and security staff were very friendly as well. Will definitely stay there again on my next trip to Manila.

Great hotel and staff that make you feel welcome!”

The best feature of the hotel would have to be the amazing staff!

I really enjoyed my stay at the Makati Palace Hotel. It is a great hotel in a central location in Makati Manila. It is nearby the Makati Mall and there are banks close by. There is even an ATM machine inside of the hotel lobby. There are many great staff members to help show you around the facility. There is a convenience mart right outside of the doors of the hotel.

Price, Location, Rooms

I loved my stay at Makati Palace Hotel! The location is perfect, the price is right, and the rooms are comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. The only thing is you need to be prepared for all the bars/clubs outside of the hotel. If you and your wife/girlfriend join you when you stay at this hotel, let them know that the bars/clubs outside the hotels are filled with buy me drinkie girls.

Makati Palace Hotel is a very convent location on Maktai Ave in Manlia. The hotel personnel (Front Desk, Bell Boys, Room Service etc.) are very helpful and as well as polite. Always with a smile make your trip a pleasure. Just that alone makes the trip worth being in the hotel with the price being worth the stay. The hotel is very clean in every way and just a all round great place to rest your head.

Clean hotel located near the nightlife”

The room was comfortable and the hotel was not too far from the airport.

I needed a quiet and comfortable room to get some sleep after a very long journey to the Philippines. The Makati Palace Hotel met my standards for customer service. Checking in was prompt and professional and I was shown to my room directly afterwards. I stayed in a non-smoking deluxe room that was clean and high enough to minimize the street noise. Checking out the next morning was also very prompt and courteous. I would consider staying here again on my visit to the Philippines.
