Good for a short stay”
Nice large room with big bed. Electricity a bit temperamental but was okay most of the time. Enough natural lighting in the room. Good size bathroom but shower wasn’t overly powerful. Good location. Quiet most of the time apart from some music in the daytime/early evening coming from the bar next door and some noisy guests. Overall good value for money and for a short stay.

Best no frills budget hotel”
If you just need a clean room, bed without the frills of a more expensive hotel, this place is perfect. Feels like an upgraded hostel experience. WiFi worked well and reception was helpful and friendly.

Good price, reasonable room and good location”
This is a budget option that ticks the boxes. Big room, clean, air conditioning works, reasonable WiFi and hot water. Don't expect luxury and you will be satisfied. Vang Vieng has a problem with poor road maintenance and this affects all properties. I would stay here again.

Fittings are a bit dated but the size of the double room was generous. Location is near the bars but set back a little from the main road so fairly quiet. Great value.

Overall it was good”
Overall the place is good, there was good customer service and the location was central so we had easy access to everything in town. The wifi was a bit hit and miss as sometimes it would just cut off for some time. The AC unit also broke on the 2nd night but the hotel kindly relocated us to another room very quickly.

The staff were nice but the property was not clean. ”
When we arrived we found crumbs from crisps in our bed from the previous guests, we had to ask for the room to be cleaned (you have to ask every morning if you wanted your room cleaning, which was no issue for us but the food shouldn't have been in the bed) The bathroom always had a bad smell which would leak through into the room. The room had a constant damp feel to it which made our clothes damp also. The bed was a little damaged so we had to sleep in a ditch, and the bottom of the bed hung lower. However the room was cheap and in an excellent location, walking distance to loads of restaurants, bars and tour booking agents.

Great Location (city-center)”
The 'things - to - see' in Vang Vieng are walking distance. The room has tv, it's nice and clean and the service is excellent. We requested a lower floor room, they've given my parents room on the first floor - 5 star staff! Highly recommended.

Perfect choice!”
We took a minivan from Vientiane and it stopped exactly at this hotel. This hotel is located exactly at the centre of Vang Vieng and walking distance to everywhere. Perfect spot!

Malany Villa 1 is located in the center of Vang Vieng. When you arrive by bus, they have free Shuttle bus to take you from the bus station to center of Vang Vieng. And they stop at Malany Villa 1. Very easy to arrive. Opposite the hotel has many shop for your activity as rental bike shop, coffee shop.

First good location. And room is big and clean.but bathroom loosk like not clean. And night, there is a little noisy. Because it is located downtown. and no kitchen. But they sell ticket to Luang Prabang. It is the most cheapest ticket. If u go Luang Prabang, buy at the malany villa.

Nice hotel”
The hotel is perfect located, rooms are very bigs and clean. Staff are not bad as other reviews said, just they are short in english and seem shy. Not loud music at all and peacefull ambient. Highly recommend for this price.

Avoid this hotel if possible”
My experience with this hotel was really bad and I would not recommend it to anyone. First of all, my flight was postponed by two days and even though I informed the staff at the hotel by email, they wanted to charge me for the nights I did not stay over. Once I arrived at Malany Villa 1, one of the staff told me my room was no longer available and they changed me to the Malany Villa 2 which is just across Sakura Bar. The hotel is not very clean, I did not feel comfortable in the room and also the noise from the bar is unbearable (the stop the music around 12 midnight). Finally, it was also really bad that I booked in this hotel the VIP sleeping bus to travel from Vang Vieng to Luang Prabang and finally they put me in a local bus instead.

if you try to find a hotel that have good location i will recommend here. You can walk by your self to go to attraction point. It will be very big room if you came just 2 person. Anyway i think this place is worth^^
