Beach front bungalow”
Wow! The Mallias from start to finish was amazing. My boyfriend and I stayed in a beach front bungalow that was truly heaven. It has a lovely big comfortable bed with a view to die for! The terrace has a hammock and a big enough terrace to watch passers by. The staff couldn't do enough for us even cleaned rain off our terrace after a storm. The breakfast was amazing and had a good selection of eggs, fruits and the pancakes are next level, only negative is the coffee. We ate at the restaurant every night we stayed there, great mix of Indonesian and other dishes. Cocktails were the best we've had in Indonesia so far (Happy hour helped with that too)!! Staff were always friendly and went out of there way to help us. They arranged a fab horse riding experience for us and even told us the best place to see turtles. Will definitely stay at the Mallias again if we're on Gili Meno, it made our stay!

Great spot”
We arrived on Gili T (from Gili Gede), and were thoroughly disgusted. Dirty, unfriendly, and the abuse of the horses was too much. Literally watched a local punch his own horse in the face. DO NOT RIDE THESE! Thank goodness for Gili Meno and Mallias. Quiet, very easy location, and wonderful staff. The snorkeling right off of our awesome little bungalow was incredible. Turtle sightings every time I went out. Restaurant was great too! Thank you Mallias...we loved our stay and highly recommend you to others!

Best location on Gili Meno”
LOVE mallias bungalows. Beach chalet is spacious and clean but fairly basic (we stayed 4 years ago and the chalets have been completely renovated). Stayed for 14 nights and could have stayed twice as long. The location is excellent with lots of turtle spottings when snorkelling in front of chalets (coral is not great though). Lovely lovely staff - they were so friendly and kind to our 2 year old son. There are definitely much more plush options on Gili Meno now, but I would still return to Mallias as I think the beach chalets are the best spot on the island!

We loved our 5 days at Mallias! The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff were wonderful - extremely helpful and friendly. And it's definitely situated on the best beach in the whole of Gili meno. The tide was low in the afternoon while we were there and our beach was one of the only ones which you could still swim in at low tide. The included breakfast was amazing - I'd have to say it was the best hotel breakfast I've ever encountered in Asia, which was a delightful and unexpected surprise on such a small island. Highly recommended and we will definitely be back to this little slice of island paradise!

Best place ever!!”
My daughter and I stayed in a family room although it was just one section. Big incredibly comfortable bed. Huge room and bathroom with intermintent hot water.An incredibly short walk of 120 paces and we were on the beach!! Mallias is a short walk from where the boats come into the adventurous and risky harbour on Gili Meno.Breakfast included was sufficient and fresh.This IS the place to totally relax, read a book, snorkel from one end of the island to the next.A white sandy beach and trees for shade, a true tropical paradise.Staff are friendly and helpful and Paul the Aussie owner will make sure that if you have any problems that they will be tended too.Great value for the price you can pay a bit less and Stay at a home stay in towards the middle of the island but Mallias is wonderful. They even have hammocks on the verandahs!!

The vibe was perfect for us. Relaxed , not fussy or bling but quality with environmentally sustainable values at heart. We had a bungalow with a sea view right on the beach. Booked for 2 nights, extended to 5! We could see the first rays of dawn from bed and would wonder onto the sand to see the sun rise. The sea at the hotel is transparent and we snorkelled directly from there , seeing amazing fish and coral. Retreating under the shade of the hotel with a cold beer was perfect and the food was definitely the best on the island. We love Indonesian vegetable and fish dishes and at Mallias we had the best versions of those dishes as well as others developed there, catering for western and Indonesian tastes. The host's are warm , helpful and very professional with a new keen team. I would recommend Mallias for all types of traveller. It would be great with little or older children , a place to escape on your own or to go as a romantic couple. Hope we can return.

Break to Paradise”
After a difficult journey to reach Mallias bungalows it was a delight to meet the extremely friendly & helpful staff. We were given a welcome drink & then shown to our rooms. We had a beachfront villa with a veranda leading straight onto the beach. Our friends had one of the newer individual bungalows just behind the beech front properties. both rooms were very pleasant and the view from the veranda was stunning straight to the white sand beach and turquoise clear waters. The limited choice breakfast was included in the price and was filling and came with plenty of coffee or tea. The Snorkelling from the beach was superb swimming with a variety of wonderfully coloured fish and turtles. All in all it was a fabulous break to paradise.

Mallias was a joy to stay at. Bungalow directly on the best beach on Gili Meno. Room was comfortable and clean. Bathroom was large, newly fitted and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Will return one day.

Simply paradise”
We stayed for three nights at Mallias, we booked one beach bungalow with direct access to the beach front. The bungalow was noticeably clean, was more than sufficiently furnished (AC, mosquito net, comfy big bed) and had a wonderful view. Admittedly, this beach area at Mallias is the nicest and cleanest on the whole island. The breakfast included was huge and delicious, and definitely worth to include. Very good Restaurants as well as the pier are only a stone thrown away. In the whole, this place was a true paradise for us.

Awesome Place in Paradise”
This was the highlight of our trip to Indonesia. The resort had the kindest staff who were always there to help. Room: family suite. Great for two adults and 2 children (10 and 6 years). Could accommodate more kids if they allow. Adjoining rooms with separate bathrooms and doors. Balconies on each. Located right on the beach, calm water to snorkel. Close to a few shops and the port. Can rent snorkel gear and bikes next to property. Beach was clean and provided shade and sun. Food: wide variety and good portions with good prices. Other options for places to eat on the island if out and about. Only downside- 3 nights was not enough. If I were to do this vacation again, I would spend less time on Bali and get straight to this resort on Gili Meno. The most people we saw was at the turtle hatchery releasing turtles. This truly is paradise. Other rooms would be wonderful for couples or groups of friends. Don’t miss staying here! Location, service, rooms- you won’t want to leave!

Great place to stay on Gili Meno”
Really enjoyed the staff. Stayed ten days. Garden rooms great with two fans. The biggest hassle was the night thunderstorms, lol. The cold showers are not really cold, rather refreshing after a day in the sun. Best was walking out of your room to the best beach, gping. For a swim and back to our room to get glasses @ book, with a long walk. There are other places to stay for sure, a easy walk off the "main path". Staying here just made R&R easy to achieve. Nico at the blue marlin dive shop was a great instructor and being 50 meters from our hotel made time between dives enjoyable as I could catch up with my sweety. We went in low season. It appears that all the Gili Islands get a little more Stressed when high season arrives. Gili Meno is the last of the slow paced no hustle of the three . Don't miss it. Regards Tom Dumcan...seasoned traveler who always picks fans over air conditioning.....and remember, staffale the place, which makes the trip.

Mallias Bungalows”
Lovely relaxed island and Mallias do it well, great spot and neat little bungalows with veranda, hammock and 40 steps to water! Very quiet place which was what I wanted but unfortunately Gili Air had a 'doof' party that went ALL night 2 nights running finally quit around 8 in morning. Barely slept a wink very frustrating, a time limit needs to be set for everyone's sake, ruins the whole point of beautiful Gili Meno

Great Stay at Mallias”
We stayed at Mallias for 13 days and we loved it. The fact that it was right on the beach was lovely and the Staff were amazing---always there to help with anything that they could. They were friendly and lovely and it was them that helped make our stay so good. We stayed in a Beach Front Bungalow--now don't get me wrong--they are quite rustic, but they have a beautiful-comfortable King sized bed which makes up for it. There are a few things that would make the stay even better--a bottle opener, a flashlight, and a fridge. If these were in the rooms--even better. All in all we loved our stay and will certainly be going back next year.

great beach bungalow”
As a solo traveler I feel like 3 nights was too long for Meno. The location of Mallias Bungalows was very easy from the local boat drop off. It's located on the east side of the island so you if you have a beach bungalow you can watch a beautiful sunrise in the mornings. The rooms were ok. The highlight was the comfy bed. The bathrooms wasn't that great but served it's purpose and the lighting in the room was not that great. Wifi wasn't stable and I continued to be dropped which was annoying because I needed to get some work done and make calls.

Romantic Holiday ”
Best, most relaxing spot on the beach. The staff is friendly & seem to have a great sense of humor. Gusdey & Array (sorry about the spelling) went with us to Lombok, sharing their island with us. It was terrific fun & they made the best tour guides. Mallias is the perfect place to lay on the beach with the person you love. It's beautiful & the food was awesome.

Mallias bungalows were amazing. The staff were absolutely the best. They are very friendly and helpful in every way. The location is absolutely to die for. Beautiful diving and snorkling. We both cant wait to go back again.

Closest you can get to the beach”
Everything was wonderful - but please bear in mind that this is not a luxury resort and water/electricity problems are common so don't choose to come to an island if you are not prepared to deal with these problems from time to time. We looked at every other place on the island and Mallias offers by far the best value for money.

Extremely relaxing environment”
The place is right on the beach, amazing outlook. Neat and tidy rooms, hammock on front porch. Overlooking Gili Air and Lombok. Nice to stroll around the island. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. Can hire snorkel gear nearby. All in all, great value for money and yes, we will return. The only problem we had was we could only stay one night!

Situated on the Best Beach at Gili Meno! ”
The bungalows are nice and clean - but be prepared for many musquitoes In the bathroom! The surroundings are what makes the whole difference! Helpfull staff and a great restaurant with wonderful sea view! After a walk around gili Meno - i would say it looks like the Best place to stay on the Island!

Loved Gili Meno, especially Mellias.”
We had a wonderful time here. One of our favourites on our Bali trip. Staff was wonderful. Food was great, especially the Chili Chicken. Would recommend that you see if Mellias can arrange your transfer from Gili T to Gili Meno - I'm sure we paid way too much! Would love to be back there right now!
