Manata Lodge is a wonderful, out of the way slice of paradise between Queenstown and Arrowtown. The owners are very friendly and helpful and the facilities are wonderful. However, while we were staying building works were being completed onsite. Being asked and expected to leave our room during the day so works could commence was frustrating. When you are paying by the day you expect to have quiet enjoyment of the room across the full day at your discretion, not being asked when you are leaving and returning and having tradesmen working two metres from your room. I would recommend that works are completed with no guests. Alternately if we had received advanced notices and a discounted rate we would have been appreciated it.

The lodge is well located, very quite, easy to find, and only 3 mins drive from shopping center, and 13 mins drive from the town. Sadly we arrived in winter and couldn't enjoy the view, as many other guests mentioned, due to the bad weather. The lodge is well managed, tidy, warm, and the shower was great. The single bed could be bit small for adult male, but still cozy. Staffs are nice and warm hearted, even we don't see them much. We did some easy cook during the stay, but don't find cooking oil or salt in the kitchen----but not big deal. Overall, love stay. Thank you

Heaven on earth?”
Down a quiet tranquil road 7km from Queenstown, this place really was heaven on earth! The Remarkables on one side and coronet peak on the other, it had views that were out of this world. Warren the owner was warm and made everything as easy as possible. The room was big with microwave, hob, fridge. It also had separate bathroom and toilet. Could not fault anything about this place and would highly recommend to get away from the hustle of Queenstown!

Splendid isolation”
Very, very pleasant. We stayed in two different apartments on two occasions, La Grande Dame and Eltrusco. The latter one is bigger and offers better views and in the former, still big and comfortable studio, only one window can be opened, which may reduce the comfort of your sleep. Overall very pleasant stay, and I would definitely return in the future.

Luxury but no privacy and poor facilities”
The court yard just front of our lounge was shared with 3 rooms and tennis court was just front of our room too. Children were very exciting to play tennis and basket ball. Laundry was shared too ,and restricted rule was there. No soundproofing ,we had noisy night with next door. When we back from walking , the drape in living room was dropped down!! We were surprised with poor facilities.

地处半山区。极致的房屋和超大的庭院，巨大的房内空间，无论从哪方面看，都丝毫没有任何压抑之感。装修很棒，还有超多电视节目。清净、整洁、舒适，服务也是一流。你能用到的厨具房内应有尽有，而且很干净。院内有网球场和秋千，可供客人享用。这个区域的居住密度很低，住宅都占地巨大，无论晴天或雨天，这里及附近都美得一塌糊涂。

整个酒店实际上是一栋House改造出来的几个房间，老板住在旁边的另外一栋House里。 这个地点在距离皇后镇几公里之外的一处高地上，很安静，那条路开车进去只有几户人家，周围没有任何商业设施。适合需要安静 亲密接触大自然的客人选择这里。 老板还在门厅里面提供了网球拍 网球，旁边有一个他自己家的网球场，还有很大的花园。 房间内的家具档次不错，也有一个小的开放式厨房，有炉灶和做饭的设施，可以自己弄点简单的

小屋是在離皇后鎮大約10分鐘車距的山坡上，離小鎮不遠又有較多的隱私跟清靜，小屋相當別緻，前方的環形車道種了幾顆秋天葉子會變黃的樹，金色落葉很適合這棟小屋。我們住的是二樓的房間，空間非常大，還有個小客廳跟小廚房，從客廳的陽台窗戶就能看到雪山。還有提供免費的洗衣烘衣機。整體的住宿體驗相當不錯
