Great stay!”
Stayed for one night with a friend and our two small dogs. We had a great view of the harbor and were close enough to restaurants and other conveniences to walk. The hotel offered many perks such as a free harbor boat tour! Staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, allowing us to check in early and check out late. Would definitely stay here again.

A grand stay for a San Diego first timer”
This is a very good hotel if you're seeing San Diego for the first time. We got upgraded to a double bay corner view room with a very nice view of the city and San Diego marina/pier/bay. Quite a big and comfortable room except for the weak water pressure in the bathroom sink. Room service and food is good as well. Self parking garage is a big plus and also the breakfast buffet that comes with the room. The Seaport Village and San Diego Marina are just across the hotel. The San Diego Pier and Tuna Harbor are within walking distance. You will need to drive if going to Seaworld and Balboa Park but not that long. Overall, a grand stay for us first timers in San Diego!

The Resort Fee is really expensive bad internet ”
The Resort fee is really expensive, its 35 plus taxes and the y dont offer anything aditional. The internet is limited to 10 MB per stay, you have to pay for more MB or of you want better speed.

Fantastic View, good service ”
We live in a South Bay,one block from the ocean.We have a great view daily in our own place ,However,the view from HYATT MANCHESTER is FABULOUS! We got the Harbor View King and Double With Harbor View for Our Children. It’s All worth it!The customer service is inconsistent: we had good and bad experience. PROS: *The Valet service ,very polite, accommodating,helpful *The Filipino (I’m also a Filipino)housekeeper,was very thorough in cleaning,fast *Two pools at 3rd and 4th floor *Pet friendly CONS: *No one is by the door to make you feel welcome when you arrive from a long drive *When we call for either Operator or front desk ,instead of being asked if it’s okay to be put on hold,for the 4 nights stay , we were hanged up on for approx half a dozen times. *I have to use my robe for almost 3 days in a row as when I called ,no one answered from housekeeping,so I wrote a note : requesting for more coffee pods, new bath robe and 2 more items .then put a tip beside it. When we arrived from our day trip: the room was half clean,tip And note was no longer there But : NONE of what I have requested was given. My husband has to call and be on hold for almost 20min and they send someone to bring the items we asked 12 hrs ago. *Because of Covid,no room Service is available making it more challenging to eat any time you need ,so we have to either eat out ,or order food So We do both ,one time I ordered so much food ,not even half was eaten,we asked if there was a microwave we can use , “NO “Was the answer ,only to learn 2 days after that ,they have a microwave we can ask upon request (first come first serve basis). ,They send someone to bring the microwave in the room for the remaining 2 days of our stay we were able to use it. ….We love to travel here and abroad. A hotel can be only a beautiful place to stay if the Staff in every department WORK as a Team to make the vacation or business trip or staycation of anyone a Joyful and mem

Good :Valet parking Seaport View Resto food and it’s staff Room for improvement :Front desk ,housekeeping, The hotel has several amenities however ,the staff seems to be detached . “A More personable service ,more dedication , Love of what you are doing GOES a Long way. I have worked in Hospitality business for decade. I know How to take care of customers “Not only to answer there requests But TO ANSWER their Silent ,unvoiced requests , To GO That EXTRA Mile. To Own it. MANCHESTER HYATT can do this ,I AM very excited when we will have our Already booked CHRISTMAS Stay ,that It will Be MORE MEMORABLE.

Great view of the Bay”
I had booked the Corner King room for the view. Definitely was not disappointed. Stayed there for one night only as San Diego was a spontaneous trip decided the day before and booked the room the day of. The hotel reminds me of a Vegas hotel. Very grand. It's off the ocean/bay so it's not close to the gaslamp district; that's where Lyft comes in handy. Do not take the carriage bag to th e hotel, it was a good $30. Def take Lyft back. Now for the negative. They didn't mention at check-in but using their valet was an additional $49!!! I choose that hotel because I thought it was all included. Wrong, so definitely NOT a Vegas like hotel in that aspect. Also, neither Agoda or the hotel mentioned that there's a resort fee (hyatt refers to it as a "destination fee"). Love the view but after the hidden fees I think I'll choose a different hotel next time I'm in San Diego. There's lots of other hotels that charge much less for valet ( self parking is $35!!!)

great location, next to the city center. The only probably I have is the so call green&sustainbility adoption for the hotel... There is no toothbrush and other accessories. Have to call the room service. And some run out.

Expensive, no 24 hour room service but nice view”
I stayed in a harbour view room, it had quite a nice view. I felt the cost of the hotel was quite high and especially when I realised they didn't offer 24 hour room service which I was expecting. The Cheesecake Factory is right across the road which is very convenient and way cheaper and better food than the room service offered at the Hyatt. The one thing I disliked the most about staying here is the pool - the main pool on level three is classed as the family pool but is the only pool that gets sun as I was advised by a staff member. The pool on level 4 is apparently always in the shade and the pool on level three is like being in a wind tunnel due to being in between the two towers so it creates a slight wind tunnel effect which was not pleasant at all.

Relaxing vacation! ”
Our room was clean and modern. We ordered room service for breakfast and dinner and the food was really good. Dining in your room while staring at the ocean was priceless. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was spot on . Walked to Seaport Village everyday. Went to Roy's restaurant at the Marriot and was only a 5 minute walk. Will definitely stay here again when we return !

Pros: Very upcscale hotel. Staff were all helpful and friendly yet welcoming to their guests. Hotel is conveniently located to the marina and night life also great restaurants! Gym: Large space that holds a lot of gym equipment and provides clean towels, water and a cold towel.
