We loved Our 2nites stay in the hotel except for No Complimentary water in the room. They charged for the coffee for $20. If you tried to check their stuffs in the fridge or on top of the cabinet it will b charged to you automatically.
The check in line was almost 40 minutes. When I got to check in , they couldn’t find my reservations because Agoda had spelled my name incorrectly. The rest of my stay was good. I recommend trying to get a pre check code on your phone to alleviate the confusion and long wait time.
Hotel is big. Room also big. With many facility. Queit room. With wide bathroom. I like the bathroom with the bath tub. Room design is quiet new (not new at all). This hotel location is in the end point of the centre of Las vegas shopping mall, etc. Quiet far to transport there.

Hated this hotel. Although ‘on’ the strip it is right down airport end and in a dull patch. Systems in hotel were horrible. Took 45 mins to checkin (even with mobile check in service). Took 1.5 hours waiting for bags to be delivered to room. Systems kept breaking. Day two the hotel LOCKED us out of our room, but they couldn’t tell us why so just kept issuing new door keys. Went up and down lifts 4 times over an hour trying to get in. Finally after escalating manner apparently we were locked out because the system/staff forgot to record credit card details at check in. Treated like criminals and had done nothing wrong - no apologies nothing. Food and drink are insanely expensive. Don’t stay here! Go into heart of strip.
Gave Away Hotel Rooms”
Booked two rooms at a Mandalay Bay. Flight to Vegas was cancelled. We were to arrive on the 4th of July. Didn’t arrive until the 5th. Called Mandalay Bay and told them we would be delayed. They responded and let us know that all was fine and we could check in on the 5th. Upon arrival we were told that our rooms were given away as we were a no show. Couldn’t believe it. We were told that the hotel had no rooms available. After an hour and much back and forth they relented and gave us 2 rooms. The problems were just getting started. They messed up our credit cards attached to the rooms. We tried several times to get things fixed. Each time we were told that the problem was fixed & each time it wasn’t. We fought everyday for satisfaction. We never ever asked for anything to extra. No free nights or free anything. All we wanted was some acknowledgement that they messed up. After finally speaking to a hotel manager did things finally get resolved. Would never stay at an MGM property again.

Dont stay here unless you want to get a staff infection. I just wanted a basic place to crash after driving for 7 hours. Floor was FILTHY, showerhead had hairs on it. Room smelled like it was dank. wifi terrible. Towels stiff. Mentioned this to manager. He said we will investigate it. Very sorry. Sorry in my book us a empty word, unless it involves righting a wrong. Sorry i picked this sh**thole.
The hotel is huge. Big room, nice bathroom, good lighting. I love this hotel, but it is not suitable for family with young children. The beach pool is full of people. No drinking water is provided in the room, but they have water dispenser in the lobby where we can drink or fill up bottle.

The pool area is fabulous. We spent a lot of time there with the children. Bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. Really good bathtubs (essential with little ones). High floors are better so you can appreciate the Spit street.
Disappointing Experience - Overpriced”
As a 5 star resort, Mandalay was extremely disappointing from Checkin to checkout. Checkin took us over an hour and a half to queue in a ridiculous line where, out of 22 available check-in desks, only 2 were occupied by staff. It wasn't until I left the line to speak to someone about why there were a lack of staff that they decided to put on 3 more staff members. Still not enough to cope with the line. We were then presented with an abrupt and rude staff member who had zero customer service skills. In fact, every experience with staff was extremely poor. The facilities and amenities were also extremely lacking. Basically, we paid for a room and a bed. Despite the hefty resort fee: NOTHING was included in the room, including tea, coffee, water, milk etc. In fact, upon requesting a drop of milk for a tea we had to purchase, we were told it would cost $16USD - $8 for delivery and $8 for the milk. Room was good. Location was poor - but we knew this when we booked. Not worth the price.
The facility was great for kids! Pools, lazy river and beach were are big hit with my kids!The only complaint we have is once we arrived the check in line was an hour long. They only had a couple employees working check in. With many of us complaining, we were told it is almost always like this.
They charge for everything. From Valet parking $25.00 a night. Everything in room including coffee $6.00 a small cup. Refrigerator had food and drink, but charge a lot. Bottle of Grey goose $300.00. Came back broke.

The coffee in the room is NOT FREE , $12 for two cups of coffee with Cremora, more expensive than in the lobby. The thought never occurred to me that coffee in the room is chargeable , so read the price list. According to the manager at check out , " All hotels on the strip charge for coffee in the rooms". BE Warned .
Booked a king room 2 months before arrival. Upon arrival there were no king rooms available. Desk clerk said that in the fine print rooms are subject to availability, wouldn’t upgrade. We were told to check the next day for an available king room as 1000 people were checking out. The next day one was available, this clerk was very friendly and upgraded us to a JR suite. Hotel was nice. Room walls are paper thin. There is a fridge in the room, but you have to pay $50/day to put your own stuff in it. So buying a styrafoam cooler to keep beers/drinks leftover food cold is the cheeper option. There is a mini Tassimo in the room you can boil water through to make coffee or tea you bring for free, ANYTHING else you touch or use from the snack/mini fridge is billed directly to your room (standard at most resorts). With the exception of the first desk clearly not willing to give us a king room. The staff (including all room and casino care takers) were very friendly and willing to help.

Wondering what the RESORT FEE was for.They charge like$40 FOR WHAT??..not even the steam room is free..no coffee in the room for the coffee maker and you pay $5 for a disposable cup in the room??Will never stay in Mandalay ever
if i go las vegas then i will visit again this hotel. Fantastic room conditions.
The room that I got was excellent (I booked Resort room type which basically whichever they have available at that time). Large room with huge bathroom (separate shower and bath tab). Unfortunately, water stopped running at 2 am. Luckily that it's back to normal in the morning. The tram between Mandalay Bay- Luxor-Excalibur help connect the hotel with the rest of the strip. Quite convenience. If you like to stay in quieter area of the Strip, I recommend this hotel.
The hotel located at the begining of the strip street and there was a fast food restaurent serounding the area.You can start your street journey from here and all the way down to the end.you will never get lost. The in house beach was awesome.
Great Hotel Stay with nice beach in hotel”
Our stay in Mandalay Bay Hotel was great. I particularly liked the swimming facilities with a sandy beach right within your hotel. Room size was very big and comfortable. Staff was friendly with moving our luggage from the car to the hotel room. Parking is free at most hotels in Las Vegas! Location was good even though it is located at the front of the stripe. Take your time to walk down to visit the other hotels and back.

this hotel and good location to go for food and shopping. also this hotel is good for commute and transportation to many point of interest. the area around the hotel is good and clean. the room is big enough and worth for money. the view around hotel is ok and not too crowded. I would recommend many people to sta this hotel not only tourist but also business people. on the other hand, this hotel has free wifi for all customers but some area has low signal.
