Great Hotel for business
Convenient location and value for money”
Stayed there for 3 nights in March. The staff were helpful and the proximity to the airport is amazing. The room was fantastic and there was no issue with noises as its close to the airport
Hotel is big. Room also big. With many facility. Queit room. With wide bathroom. I like the bathroom with the bath tub. Room design is quiet new (not new at all). This hotel location is in the end point of the centre of Las vegas shopping mall, etc. Quiet far to transport there.
Turned up to the hotel rooms not ready , was told we would be compensated credit per too which we accepted however this conveniently dissapeared in the las day when we wanted to use it , also agoda says all taxes and charges included but when you get their mandalay bay try to charge daily taxes in top the manager Edward was unbelievably rude and threatened to call security and have us removed for complaining about the inconvenience we had completely different to the nice manager we met on the first evening , would not stay here again agter this experience
The facility was great for kids! Pools, lazy river and beach were are big hit with my kids! The only complaint we have is once we arrived the check in line was an hour long. They only had a couple employees working check in. With many of us complaining, we were told it is almost always like this.
They charge for everything. From Valet parking $25.00 a night. Everything in room including coffee $6.00 a small cup. Refrigerator had food and drink, but charge a lot. Bottle of Grey goose $300.00. Came back broke.
Nickel and Dimed”
The coffee in the room is NOT FREE , $12 for two cups of coffee with Cremora, more expensive than in the lobby. The thought never occurred to me that coffee in the room is chargeable , so read the price list. According to the manager at check out , " All hotels on the strip charge for coffee in the rooms". BE Warned .
Booked a king room 2 months before arrival. Upon arrival there were no king rooms available. Desk clerk said that in the fine print rooms are subject to availability, wouldn’t upgrade. We were told to check the next day for an available king room as 1000 people were checking out. The next day one was available, this clerk was very friendly and upgraded us to a JR suite. Hotel was nice. Room walls are paper thin. There is a fridge in the room, but you have to pay $50/day to put your own stuff in it. So buying a styrafoam cooler to keep beers/drinks leftover food cold is the cheeper option. There is a mini Tassimo in the room you can boil water through to make coffee or tea you bring for free, ANYTHING else you touch or use from the snack/mini fridge is billed directly to your room (standard at most resorts). With the exception of the first desk clearly not willing to give us a king room. The staff (including all room and casino care takers) were very friendly and willing to help.
we got tired of having our key card changed like 6x bec it wont work on the door of the room and ele”
Wondering what the RESORT FEE was for. They charge like$40 FOR WHAT??..not even the steam room is free..no coffee in the room for the coffee maker and you pay $5 for a disposable cup in the room??Will never stay in Mandalay ever
1 sink was broken. Ask to barrow a spoon from the hotline. We need to pay $18.50 just to barrow a spoon. 1 got a SUITE thinking service xe will be great. Housekeeping kept on coming in our room. Toilt smell bad.
Nice stay at Mandalay Bay Resort. Spacious rooms. Be aware you're not guaranteed a king bed if you book/request it as it is a first come first serve basis. They also sting you with a $37.00 'resort fee', which is a con as there isn't much of a resort there.
The room that I got was excellent (I booked Resort room type which basically whichever they have available at that time). Large room with huge bathroom (separate shower and bath tab). Unfortunately, water stopped running at 2 am. Luckily that it's back to normal in the morning. The tram between Mandalay Bay- Luxor-Excalibur help connect the hotel with the rest of the strip. Quite convenience. If you like to stay in quieter area of the Strip, I recommend this hotel.
The hotel located at the begining of the strip street and there was a fast food restaurent serounding the area. You can start your street journey from here and all the way down to the end.you will never get lost. The in house beach was awesome.
good and convinient for tourist and business man”
this hotel and good location to go for food and shopping. also this hotel is good for commute and transportation to many point of interest. the area around the hotel is good and clean. the room is big enough and worth for money. the view around hotel is ok and not too crowded. I would recommend many people to sta this hotel not only tourist but also business people. on the other hand, this hotel has free wifi for all customers but some area has low signal.
Very convenience and modern. ”
it is very convenince to book through agoda. the hotel have all facilities we need wifi, casino, restaurants, great buffet,, tram (train to the other hotels), and so on. just arrive the hotel, you can forget the outside world and enjoy the gambling. you family enjoy the beach in the hotel with the real sea wave. try it and you will love it.
I really enjoyed my stay. Everything was perfect. Close to the airport & a short taxi ride any where else. Can't wait to visit in the summer time. The staff was very professional. There was a nice variety of restaurants although a little expensive. The facilities are nicely maintained. The TV in the bathroom was a nice touch. The bed was really soft & comfortable.
WHAT HAPPEN TO THE WAVE POOL?? ITS GONE CRAP A WAVE EVERY 45SECS??? RUBBISH! OTHERWISE GREAT
The hotel is old compared to other hotels at the strip”
Long queue to check-in and check-out which was not pleasant! We came from another hotel (5 stars too) at the strip and were disappointed with our stay here as the rooms are quite old and location is not strategic. Drinking water is chargeable which the previous hotel offered us complimentary. With the price we paid, I would say there are newer and better hotels out there at the strip!
The hotel is in a good location, the rooms are very clean, comfortable and well designed although there are no complimentary tea and coffee making facilities. Our room was on the 22nd floor, which had fantastic views over Las Vand beyond. The biggest negative is that the resort fees are little excessive for what’s included but it’s the same in all of the hotels.
