Nice and fully equipped hotel rooms”
The Mandawee Resort consists of a few bungalows with private pools and a condo complex with appartment like big rooms. They offer a nice pool with jacuzzi and fitness center but also a bigger pool for swimming close to the appartment complex. The rooms are very new and big with nice and modern design. The beds are in a separate room consisting of glass, which gives the rooms a special touch. Howevery the resort is not very close to Krabi or Ao Nang, so you have to take a shuttle or taxi all time, which is offered at around from the hotel every hour. Also the staff was not very helpfull as they seamt to be unfriendly and not understanding English very well. For the next stay in Ao Nang I would prefer a more close hotel to the center, shops and restaurants.

Mandawee resort review”
If you like quiet surroundings situated not too far away from the busy Ao Nang & Nopparat beach in Krabi, then this is the ideal resort for you. At least my girlfriend & I surely enjoyed our 1 week stay there. We rented a pool access condo which was very spacious, clean & had a modern touch including flatscreen TV & microwave kitchen. In fact, the only downpart I can think of is the fact that the hotel building activities are not fully finished yet. But the staffs friendliness made up for that 100%. They even offered us complimentary transports to Aonang & Nopparat beach. Now thats a thing hotels in Phuket & Koh Samui can learn from. Conclusion: I rate this resort 8 out of 10.

Nice place for staying. Very clean swimming pools. friendly staff. Slightly far from Ao nang beach and Nopparat Thara beach. Need to hire your own transport if miss the free transport provided by Mandawee. So many Tuk Tuks on road to hire anywhere aroung beachs and shopping areas.

A Beautiful Resort Awaits You and ONLY YOU”
Mandawee is an awesome resort off the beaten path of Ao Nang. However, there were free shuttles to Ao Nang until 8 pm so this definitely made up for that. The staff are top notch and were extremely pleasant to be around. We felt extremely safe even though we were practically the only people that were staying here. I almost felt bad knowing they were losing so much money by staying opened. The pool and gym were absolutely incredible and I wish there had been more time to enjoy them. We stayed in just the Superior room, but it was large, even had a microwave. The only thing missing was maybe a haridryer. However, I am sure if I had asked, they probably would have had one for me. Laundry services were very cheap here too and excellent. I wish that we had more time to stay here because this place was spectacular.

We had a pleasant stay at the Mandawee Hotel and would recommend it and stay there again, There was not enough staff working during the day and often they where very rushed, some days towels were tahen from rooms and not replaced and when you went to reception had a 2 hrs wait, location was good easy to get to the main beaches and shops and away from it if you wanted to relax by the pool, All rond value for money clean pleasant Hotel i would rate it 95 out of a 100

Awesome hotel but a little faraway from main beach”
Stayed 3 nights at Mandawee and loved it there. Had a superior room and it is really as good as what you see in their photos. The room is very spacious, and had a small pantry area, a living room with coffee table and even a dining table! The living room offers a large enough LCD TV and also a comfortable sofa big enough for one person to sleep on. The downside is that it is a little faraway from Ao Nang beach where all the attractions are. But it also means that Mandawee offers a very quiet getaway, away from the hustle and bustle of the main beach if you want to be undisturbed. It takes about to flag down a tuktuk that brings you from the main beach to the hotel, and like wise to hire a hotel shuttle from your hotel lobby to drive you to the main beach. The breakfast served is kinda disappointing but one can always sleep in (the bed is super cosy and comfortable) and head out for a brunch along Ao Nang. Recommended for couples' getaway!

Nice, modern but inconvenient location”
We stayed in Krabi for 10 days, which is too many unless you are a rock climber or plan to spend a fair bit staying in a beach resort. Mandawee is a good value-for-money hotel, but maybe it is because it was the rainy season. The staff were great and accommodation (staff came back just to cook dinner). However, the service standard was erratic - much praised free shuttle to town was suddenly terminated when the guest load increased. Getting to and fro Ao Nang can get pretty expensive for a long stay. The restaurant also closed without notice and we had to rush out to town for dinner. Food-wise, in Krabi, it can be expensive.. a dinner in a Ao Nang beachfront restaurant costed us abt 95USD for a small lobster, fried fish, a couple of beers and a dessert. Ao Nang is also a very small town with few interesting shops. Nopphrat Thara beach which is nearest to Mandawee is very run-down with many wild dogs running around. Not particularly pleasant to walk around, although the walk along the beach at sunset was very romantic.

This place is about 10 min drive from Krabi town center. If you don't mind the location, this condo-hotel is worth considered for your stay in Krabi. A shuttle runs from hotel to town every half-hour, for free. Room types range from studios, 2-bedroom suites to family bungalows with own jacuzzi pools. A buffet breakfast is served in a dedicated dining place. Staff are nice, and helpful. There is a small convenient store near the front-desk so you can buy stuffs like snacks and drinks.

Pleasant Hotel with Great Staffs”
Mandawee Resort is a pleasant and peaceful hotel with very nice staffs. Wake up in the morning to fresh air and sound of the crickets. As it is just the beginning of the high season the hotel is on low occupancy still. We practically have the whole pool, gym and driver(free transport to Ao Nang) all by ourselves. There are 3 seperate pools and it was just lovely.

the hotel was nice enough! we stayed in the condo and the room was spacious and had a lounge and dining area. there was no tea/coffee or internet in the room so you had to go to the main building to use the wifi. they do have a minimart where you can buy coffee though. the staff were friendly and they were very helpful in organising day trips. the hotel is literally in the middle of nowhere so you can't walk to the beach. the hotel provides a shuttle about once an hour. it is a nice place to be if you want to get away from it all, and there aren't many tourists! we were the only ones there! overall, an ok place to stay! i would travel around next time and find somewhere on the beach as krabi is such a beautiful area!

Peaceful hotel with great service staffs”
my experience there was pleasure. althought the resort is located quite a distance from ao nang beach. they provide shuttle service to ao nang beach, it only take 15 mins ride. the staffs are very friendly and nice too. they have gym and spa facilities in the resort. you will be able to see a beautiful scenery from the room too. if you looking for peaceful and quiet holiday, mandawee will be a good spot.

I stay for 3 nights on condo type. 2 night package travel include airport transfer, diving to 4 island and dinner 4900bath, and add 1 day from agoda for 1500bath. I think if not have promotion is almost expensive, Reasonable price is 1000bath. Good things is Very helpful staff, nice location on down of hill, very quiet, good for sleeping and easy access to aonang beach because have free shuttle (but i think need add frequency, maybe start on 8 am is ok). Have own travel agent and i can rent motorbike 250bath for 1day go to city (I think safe, because not soo much traffic look like bangkok). Have own convenience store like 711 (for price is reasonable). For less things is room new style minimalism but look like less maintenance, smell, hard spring bed, not have water heater (please improve). For food almost same every day (please make variety of food). And the last is i think 2 star hotel is reasonable for this hotel. Thanks.

Mandawee hotel stay!!”
I can quite simply say this hotel had a few suprises for us when we checked in. On the hotel info it says newly built. This is sort of correct except the resort itself is not finished i.e only one tower of rooms is complete!! - however don't be put off because when we eventually found it we were blown away by the stunning view from our balcony window!! Being the first ever guests in the hotel, we were given the top corner room. Seriously the view reminding of something out of jurassic park blew me away and i seriously recommend staying here just for that! The hotel manager was kind enough to offer us a free taxi whenever we wanted to head off to town - even picking us up at the end of the night!! Even though not finshed it was perfect for just chilling out for a couple of days. Highly recommended!!

Nice hotel with friendly staff”
We stayed 2 nights at the Mandawee and although the room was clean and tidy found it was too far away from the main 'strip' of bars, restaurants, street food sellers and cloting stalls. There were very little facilities in the room apart from a fridge and microwave. The fitness centre is also not part of the main hotel and quite small and very hot!

Six months after opening, the taxi drivers still may not be able to find the hotel. It is behind the St Agnes Catholic Church! I can't say enough about the quality and beauty of the room and pool. We didn't want to leave and were treated like royalty. The hotels has two Isuzu trucks to take you into town (free). The pool was semi private. They brought us 2 lounge chairs and a dining table including cooking utensils.

It was mixed experience staying at Mandawee. There was quiet surroundings which i liked. Free shuttle to Aonang beach, staffs were helpful though they were not understanding English much. In Breakfast there was not much option. i have stayed many other hotels in Singapore, KL and Indonesia and i felt Breakfast option was not good at Mandawee. Bathroom was not well maintained. I faced Shower problem to get hot/cold water. In One morning there was no water supply.

Enough for what we needed”
my boyfriend and i stayed at this hotel during the christmas holiday for 4 nights. we chose mandawee resort and spa because it got decent reviews and we were definitely looking for something away from the ao nang hustle. during our stay however, we both felt that even aside from our language barrier, the staff was so unapproachable and unfriendly especially for it being the holiday season. we have both lived in thailand for about a year and are able to carry on a fairly basic thai conversation. despite our efforts, there was one woman at the front desk who would give us a disgusted look as we tried our best to communicate in thai, seemed to not even try to understand us, proceeded to give us a stern, "what?" in english. since the hotel is so deserted (there really isn't anything else around) it was necessary to talk to someone at the front desk to either arrange for a taxi into or from ao nang, motorbike rental, or ferries to other islands and beaches. these negative interactions were enough to make for a temporary unpleasant mood during what was supposed to be an enjoyable holiday vacation. we weren't able to rent a motorbike form them because there weren't any more available during our stay, and they charged 50baht per person for a taxi ride into ao nang. for thailand, that's a pretty pricey ride, especially for a service that i feel should be free for hotel customers so long as they schedule in advance. the rooms had what was necessary, a pretty big space, but the windows weren't sealed properly and allowed a lot of bugs in even when they were "closed".

Modern style but low service quality hotel”
Hotel location is quite far to the beach and town area, staffs couldn't speak and understand simple english. Breakfast menu has limited choice and foods are not tasty. Free shuttle service to beach and town is not consistent and pick up location back to hotel is very difficult to identify the vehicle. Shower heater is not mantain well and room service is not perform as expected.
