Amazing stay
Very charming bungalows with family atmosphere: people were very caring and gave us all information needed to facilitate our stay. Comfortable rooms, nice showers with hot water and... again... absolutely charming environment!

Ideal location, beautiful place
location, beautiful, price
Close to everything as it is centrally located, the place looks awesome, and the staff went out of their way to make us comfortable. Our stay was wonderful.

Great stay!
The room was lovely, location great and the staff so welcoming
We had such an amazing time. The bungalow was lovely, we had coffee waiting for us every day, the breakfast was delicious, especially the pancake! The location is great, 5 min walk from all the shops, restaurants and bars. The staff at the Mandia Bungalows was lovely, very helpful and welcoming. We organised a day trip with the owner, it took us to amazing places. The place is quiet and beautiful, surrounded by trees and flowers. We were woken up by birds every day! Such a great experience!

Great location and staff
Location in City Center, Service, Quiet Surroundings
Mandia is centrally located on Monkey Forrest Road. Whether you're looking to do yoga (next door) or hang out and listen to some live music (few doors down) you're ideally located. The room is spartan but meets all of your needs. Be sure to bring your own soap as it is not provided. Mandia is located along an alleyway which places you away from the noise of Monkey Forrest. For those who like to sleep in, Mandia provides a quiet morning (which was a far cry my experience at the Artini 1 Cottage). The staff is also helpful. Your main point of contact has excellent English skills and is willing to help you explore options and plan activities during your stay in Ubud without being pushy (opposite the Artini 1 Cottage experience).

This was such a great first impression of Ubud!
Cleanliness, privacy, safe
I arrived after hours of traveling to be greeted by friendly staff. I had asked to have an second level room since I was traveling alone and wanted to feel safe. Upon arriving I saw the romantic and beautiful room. My balcony was very private and great for the journaling, yoga and meditation that I did every morning. In the morning when I woke, I noticed the big windows that allowed plenty of natural light in. The windows were tinted so that no one could see in. I really like this as I value my privacy. The staff always made sure I had a thermos of hot water and unlimited coffee and/or tea on my balcony table. This is also where I ate my complimentary breakfast. The room had great lighting and was just really cozy and clean. The location was in the center but tucked away from the main street down an ally and the garden was just lovely! It was always a real treat to return back to the bungalow after touring the city for hours.

Nice setting in a quiet location
atmosphere, environment
I usually stay here when I cant afford air-conditioning and a swimming pool. It's also a family-run operation and they've got young kids so I like to help them out. The room is beautifully attired but I do admit after a few days it got to feel a little dingy. It depends which room you stay in though. I was down the bottom near the office. Ive stayed up top before which is a superior room. My only gripe is that I asked for breakfast at 6am one morning as I had an early trip and they wouldnt do it. While this was hardly a major issue, nonetheless, I did think it was a reasonable request, as the bloke who normally prepared breakfast was doing so anyway a little after 6.

A little Bungalows
Well location
This hotel has very good location, and it is in the Monkey Forest Road. And this hotel is full of green plants. However, the young master and staff are not kind enough with stiff attitude, and there is no safeguard in the hotel. We can even hear the terrible footstep in deep night, so we can't sleep very well.

Amazing people, fantastic stay
Great hosts, nice rooms, location, price, tours, breakfast!
We arrived late and the guys couldn't have been more welcoming, we were shown our room which was spacious and clean and headed out for some food (the nearby eateries are out of this world, and cheap) In the morning we were treated to a Bali coffee, fresh fruit and excellent banana pancakes on the terrace over looking a luscious green garden. The bungalows are located a minutes walk from the action but still super quiet and relaxing Can't stress enough how kind and friendly the guys who run the place are, they took us on an amazing (and cheap) private tour of the temples, volcano's etc...it was awesome. They also did our laundry and it came back like new. Ubud itself is a great place, very relaxing, good sights, excellent food and drink. Not a big party place but you can still have a drink til late and watch some decent live music. We were only due to stay 2 nights and stayed for 5! Highly reccomend it.
