Mangga Besar hotels & accommodations

Had stayed for 2 nights. Room was clean but nothing. No refrigerator if you need to store cold drinks. Location is easy to find and convenient and across the street from Travel Hotel which is a popular KTV / massage place. All staff were good, quick and efficient. Easy to find food. I would like to stay again at the hotel 88 Mangga Besar viii. Breakfast so so. Not too ...

the bed is large, room is clean, but to reach mangga besar, we need to walk for about 20 - 30 minutes, it is quite far (on foot). If you are looking for culinary at Mangga Besar, better find another hotel nearby there. But for shopping at LTC, or Glodok, this is the best.

Sparks is located in Mangga Besar area. Area known in Jakarta for its never ending nightlife. Its seems like the area is alive 24/7. Nice clean hotel, friendly staff. Breakfast had good variety and were different on both days that we stayed at the hotel. Location is a bit off from the main Mangga Besar road, we had our vehicle so was not a problem. Taxis and bajaj are available and plentiful.

gGreat location on Mangga Besar, a vibrant street with lots of street food in the evening. getting a taxi from Mangga Besar was easy too, look for the Blue Bird taxis. Great budget hotel, clean with decent sized room. I slept very comfortably. Free water bottles are provided and drinking water is also available on tap on each floor. Staff were friendly enough. This was probably my fourth or fifth stay at this hotel. The first time I stayed here was unplanned as all the decent looking hotels along Jalan Mangga Besar were full. I had no really adverse comments on their service and facilities so I kept going back over the years. Somehow this year, their service and overall hotel experience had deteriorated slightly. I will retu...

I stayed for two nights at Hotel 88 and found that the hotels exceeded my expectations in terms of its cleanliness and easy access to public transportation (taxi, bajaj). Hotel is also conveniently located in the heart of Jalan Mangga Besar Raya, where Rumah Sakit Husadha is located right across the street. One block or two to the right of the hotel one can find a 24-h...

This is a small facility located within a neighborhood. The hotel is really clean; you are provided with all amenities you need for a simple day to day living. However, there is a mosque across the hotel and 4:30 in the morning the loudspeakers announce prayer. It was really terrible for me to fall asleep after 4:30 in the morning. The other issue i have with this pl...

VERY clean (and not just by Jakarta standards), affordable (usually you would have to pay more in Jakarta) and its a new hotel albeit it is right by a disco but I had no problem sleeping as my room (like most) did not have a window. A word about the area: I felt perfectly fine/safe walking around the area (even at night as Mangga Besar is a very busy street) b/c I us...

if you are travelling with your family it is better ti avoid. There are some good options nearby. I chose Hollywood Hotel thru internet. I like this hotel due to fit to my budget, close to the city. In fact thos are correct. Additional things are there are many food around the hotel. Internet is very fast. It is close to the commuter train station Mangga Besar. However, the bath room was smelly. Even I close to bathroom 'door'. So please repair this. Anyway I feel ...

I have stayed in some pretty budget accommodation in my day, but none worse than hotel pinangsia. The headboard and walls were so incredibly dirty and gross I slept on only one corner of the bed. The sink would not drain into the wall, instead it just drained directly onto the floor of the bathroom. The shower and and toilet are in the same room so when you shower the ...

Worst ever hotel I stay in Indonesia. The room is dirty and smelly. Pay for 2 night but move out just after 1 night. No hot water shower, ask the staff and was told to wait for 15 min. Waited 30 min, just litter warm only. Totally unacceptable. Move out and stay in POP hotel even had pay 2 night.

This hotel is located in a very nice popular neighborhood, 10 minutes by walking from the center of the Mangga Besar area (Lokasari). The staff is extra-friendly and helpful, the room is big, well decorated with nice lights monitored by remote control, quite clean with a nice home-cinema and the wi-fi works fast... For that price i think it's a pretty good deal. Free ...

Nice and friendly staffs. I booked 5 nights at the hotel. After 2 nights in room #301. I was bitten by bed bugs, I had 6 to 8 bits on my two legs. I requested room change, they put me in room # 103, though the bed bug seem to be gone but there are many flys and mosquitos around. Cheap hotel if you do not mind the cleanliness.
