Lovely hotel!”
My stay at Mango Hill Inn was wonderful. The staff all greeted me upon arrival with the biggest smiles and warm hellos! I was thrilled to find out I could have dinner there, as I arrived around 8pm after a full day of traveling by bus. The staff were also very friendly and helped me arrange a cab to central Yangon. It is a little far from the main attractions in Yangon, especially with traffic, but it is a nice escape from the busy city and very close to the airport (why I originally chose it). Also the breakfast is incredible! They give you so many options and fresh fruit, which was a big plus for me! You will for sure enjoy your stay here. Thanks again to the Mango Hill Inn staff!!

FANTASTIC oasis in the middle of Yangon - whole package.”
This was an unexpectedly beautiful stay. The grounds and inn are gorgeous, with the shade of an enormous mango tree and green yard providing a relief from the grime and bustle of the city. Location is central to the airport and just a taxi ride away from main attractions. Fantastic amenities. Fresh and lovingly prepared food by the staff (the fermented tea leaf salad is superb). We went and looked at the other popularly rated bike hostels and also nicer hotels and felt that we got the best value and experience possible. You really can't go wrong at Mango Hill Inn.

A quiet Oasis giving easy access to the airport”
My location rating for this hotel is based on using it for access to the airport, it is not convenient for Downtown Yangon. The hotel is situated in a quiet backwater off the busy Pyay Road in an area once used by the A1 Film Studios. You wake to birdsong and not traffic or aircraft noise. The Hotel is new and the aircon is very quiet and the beds comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful, they are also keen to practice their English so are quite chatty. It is a small hotel, I think only 12 rooms, and the owner likes it to be treated like a home with shoes not worn beyond the front door. Slightly irritating as you go in and out carrying stuff and you are not wearing slip on shoes like the locals. The dining facilities are one table in an area off reception or tables in the very nice garden. It was dry while we were there, but what happens when it rains and the hotel is busy? The hot water takes some time to arrive to the shower head (approx 5 minutes). In our room the hot supply to the shower was too restricted, the supply to the basin was much more powerful so it is a case of opening a valve somewhere and not due to other guests showering at the same time! The breakfast is really good. The evening meal was good. If you don't want to eat in there is a branch of Golden Duck (Shwe Bae) a short taxi ride to the South at the junction of Pyay Road and Kabar Aye Pagoda Road. Alternatively the North Point shopping mall with a range of eateries is a short taxi ride to the North on Pyay Road. The airport pick up and drop off went very smoothly and was good value at $5 each way. We will definitely use this hotel again when changing flights at Yangon.

Best "Airport" hotel”
The staff makes you feel like you're staying in a 5-star hotel - extremely helpful, friendly, and will go out of their way to make sure you're satisfied. While the location isn't ideal if your mission is to explore Yangon, it's a 15-minute drive to the airport, and therefore the only place I'd stay when traveling in/out via the airport. The facility itself is very nice, though sound can carry, so it's the type of place I'd recommend earplugs if you don't want other guests to disturb you when going to/from their rooms. Breakfast and dinner was very tasty (albeit, expect their dinner menu to be a bit overpriced given Yangon prices), and they even prepare you a breakfast to go if you have an early morning flight. Truly can't say enough about the staff here.

Family hosted Quality Boutique Hotel”
What a lovely surprise we found. Bran new quality built family run boutique style guesthouse with large bright rooms with good beds and great bathroom. Garden eating area was a refreshing welcome after our long travel day from Sittwe. Happy to have airport pickup waiting for us...we were 2 hours! Staff are all related so they help each other to create a up class service establishment with fine dining. We totally would consider returning next time to Yangon. PS ask to see the cousins fine artwork! I hope to see more paintings on the walls upon my return as they are beautiful! Thank you very much everyone. Mingalabar!!

Couldn’t believe the delicious breakfast under the old mango tree in the garden that awaited us after our 13 hr bus journey! So welcoming and helpful and cheerful to two weary travellers. In fact Mango Hill was so lovely and serene and peaceful we stayed for both a delicious lunch AND dinner. Real oasis of calm and outstanding hospitality. Thank you Mango Hill!!

To be honest, i didn't expect much from this hotel as it was only for a transit stay before my flight. However, when my car drove into the compound, i knew it would be a good experience. Well decorated garden in front takes you away from the hustle and bustle of Yangon. The hotel itself is super clean and had simple but very tastefully decorated common areas and rooms. There is no TV in the room but i think that's perfect. It's a great place to relax and unwind, especially before a long flight. I also had a meal in the garden which was really pleasant. Super friendly, attentive and helpful staff members. I will definitely be back.

The nicest people of Yangon”
They have the nicest staff. Had to pick up an item somewhere in Yangon, the staff even accompanied us so we wont get lost. Normal breakfast is served at 8am. We had to leave for the airport at 630am. They took the initiative to serve our breakfast at 6am. The owner was so nice as well. Would definitely recommend this place. Very relaxing place to stay as well and not to mention, good food!!

Staff is wonderful”
The inn is lovely and the management is even lovelier. My room was very clean, bed comfortable. Everything was great. Tea leaf salad and lentil soup for dinner was perfect and the breakfast spread was very good. Fresh pineapple juice delicious. I would stay again in a heartbeat. Very convenient for the airport.

Nice and quiet location outside the city center”
We enjoyed our stay away from the city's noise and hustle. The hotel actually seems more like a guest house than a hotel. Staff gives you a very warm welcome and helps with the luggage and organizes a taxi to take you to restaurants and sights. The house itself is beautifully furnished and so are the rooms. We also loved the nice wooden floors and elegant furniture. Although close to the airport we heard no noise but instead after a good night's sleep woke up to birds singing in the garden. Breakfast was great with fresh juice, tea and coffee, pancakes as well as toast and local treats and ripe fruits. Unfortunately we had to eat quickly to catch our bus. Do yourself a favor and plan for some extra time in the morning to enjoy. This is a very nice spot if you want to stay away from the busy city center and want to enjoy some quite time in the garden. The only downside is that you will need a taxi to get in and out. Since the place is very new, some taxi drivers might not find the exact road. Our driver took a right turn on the main road a bit too early so we helped navigating with an offline map and GPS tracking on the cellphone.

Beautiful, comfortable and homely. ”
We needed to stay in a hotel close to the airport and was not expecting much. To our surprise and delight this hotel was wonderful. It was in a very quiet setting, the decor was carefully thought out and the service was outstanding and friendly. If I need an overnight stay again or for a few days then I would definitely stay again.
