An oasis in bangkok”
I really like this hotel. It is great value for the price paid. The room are basic but clean. The staff are very friendly., there is a very nice pool and restaurant on site. It is very close to Khao San Road but you can't hear it. Rambuttri is a chilled out area and you can get local buses to many different areas of Bangkok from just around the corner. We will use this hotel for all our future Bangkok visits.

Great if you're taking a bus from Khao San”
This is a great hotel to stay at, it's near Khao San Road, but far enough away. It is in a cute little street, and the staff were super nice and accommodating to our needs. They let me park my bike there while I was on the island for 5 days! I would recommend.

Luxury spot”
From the neighborhood and surroundings which are unbeautiful, it's a bit of a shock to roll into such a luxurious oasis. Shocking too is that such relaxing splendour is to be had for so affordable a price.

Mango Lagoon Place Is a little gem in the “Hellhole”otherwise known as Kaosan area No without the hordes who used to frequent this stinking reminder of the worst of western decadence and youth culture This hotel is great value with kind staff,good pool and all the standard favourites PC

I was booked there due to agoda who saved my cards without my knowledge in apps . So when I was looking and press button to check they will ask me for card . No card was asked and direct money was detected . Hotel tried to help me but agoda didn’t .. anyways coming back to hotel nice and great staff . If your into bars happy this location is good because next street is Khosan road with wild night life . But if your into malls than this location is zero access although there is bus but it take from an hour to two . Or easy way get taxi which is 100 butt but the taxi driver asks for 300 which u must not pay . Ask for meter before u sit because in Thailand . They think Thai people are always right specially if both couples are foreigners

The location right on Rambuttri Rd gives you direct access to market stalls, bars and all kinds of dining options. The rooms are slightly worn, but the pool is well maintained, large and in excellent condition. The 24-hour reception lets you check in and out at any time. The food in the restaurant is a bit overpriced, but if you choose to have breakfast included in your room, it’s worth the money.

Pros: excellent location. Tons of restaurant, shops, 7-11 etc right out front. Room had a nice view of the pool. The pool was clean and refreshing. Food was reasonable and yummy. Cons: room was super dated (beds were cozy enough) Staff not very friendly

Great location and pool ”
Location is on a happening street one street from Khao San Rd. Walking distance to the pier for river cruises to the sites. Also walking distance to the Grand Palace and Wat Pho. Pool was great for cooling off on hot days. Rooms are basic but clean. Staff was not friendly or welcoming at all and was the only thing we did not enjoy during our stay. Night staff was very noisy late into the night and the noise echoed.

I wouldn't go there”
located in an area where you see only Western toerists and the only thai you see are the sailspeople from the shops; the people that work in restaurants and massage workers. you pay for everything 5 times what you should. hotel is not what it looks on the pictures. people are nice but dont understand english. breakfast is very very poor and expensive. there was a broken suitcase wiel in the room. it was still there when we left after 5 days. has been cleaned only once in that time and that was on my request. go the other side of town. discover real bangkok. taxi on meter is only 200 bath for aproximy 25 kilometer. that price is wurth not to be in this area.

The rooms aren’t the cleanest. The staff are always drunk, I had to ask for my room to be cleaned, and they claim that they’re not responsible for stolen things .... so I only let them clean the room when I was there.. and I had to ask anyway.

Exceeded Expectation”
We arrived here in the evening to massive smiles from the women on reception and from that moment on we felt comfortable. Our room was on the 4th floor (the lack of elevator wasnt as difficult as some other revies make out but it could be an issue for some) which menat it was very quiet! We had a corner room which looked over the courtyard AND Soi Rambuttri was it was absolute bliss at night. Also, when recovering form Jetlag, the movie channels available did the trick. The room was very clean and confortable with adaquate, although not arctic, air conditioning. The location was perfect for what we needed. Rambuttri has always been by go to over Khao San. It has everything you need in close proximity (food, beer, miscellaneous travel items) without disturbing your sleep, especially as Mango Lagoon Place is by the end of the street.

Good location for Khaosan Road”
The Mango Lagoon is a good place to stay if you don't want to stay right on Khaosan road, it is only a 5/10min walk away. The rooms a little outdated and tired however the beds are comfortable and there is aircon in the rooms. Please be aware there is no lift and I believe there are 4/5 floors.

Pretty much only place with a pool in the area!”
For our last day, we wanted to chill by a pool as we’d been travelling for a month and had no downtime. The hotel is on the road opposite Khaosan road, so you don’t hear any noise. The road is lovely and chilled with great places to eat (I recommend alley cat, the spicy pork balls are amazing). The hotel has an elevator (something we’ve not had being in hostels up until then!), the rooms are clean and tidy, the pool is a sub trap until about 3.30pm.
