Delightful hotel”
Situated at the edge of town, with a gorgeous view of the ferry dock and local park. Thursday and Friday night schnitzel special is well worth it! The staff were all very friendly and the room was spotless. The tea, coffee, cream and sugar, as well as the minifridge were all greatly appreciated.

Our brief visit was pleasant. The room is a good size. Clean the beds are comfortable. The location is very convenient and close to shops and restaurants. Breakfast in the cafe was delightful and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. We plan to come back and stay longer next time.

Exceptional”
Ran out of hot water only to find 60litre heater in bathroom cupboard. Upon checking I found that it was only half full due to lack of maintenance in periodical topping up. Apart from that, room was great!

Had a lovely 2 day stay, enjoyed meals in the café. The room was clean and comfortable, but the bathroom was showing signs of age, the vanity had water damage and the veneer was coming off the cupboard frame.

The room was basic but had everything we needed for a quick overnight stay but would also suit a longer stay. It was great getting room service for dinner. Rooms were a bit dated but I'm not fussy about things like that.

First the fridge, I opened it to see the tray under the freezer was full of water and the fridge was warm, on pulling out the tray I found 3 great pieces of ice like the freezer had not been defrosted in months, looking in the cupboards, the sponge on the sink was dirty and had been used, inside the cupboards was dirty and falling apart, the stove had been removed, the shampoo in the bathroom was pre-used, there were dirty tissues in the top drawer of the vanity, the table outside was dirty and had a giant melted spot in the middle of it. The carpet was loose with waves in it and a tripping hazard, we did get complimentary breakfast and dinner from a manager for letting him know, but the lame excuses he used to excuse the poor housekeeping and state of the room left me cold. We could see by the room next to us that they are trying to renovate but there is not excuse for some of it.

Nice little getaway”
Stayed for 3 nights midweek school holidays. Beautiful quiet spot adjacent to the ferry. The kids loved watching it go back and forth while we were sitting at the cafe eating our delicious (huge) chicken schnitzel for dinner. Great budget accomodation. Will highly recommend!
