Pool is a lifesaver”

Low travel season, easy to extend a few nights. Pool is nice addition. Cafe serves three meals a day. They’ll fill up your water bottle for a small fee — still cheaper and more environmentally friendly than buying a water bottle. Small AEON market just down the street and plenty of tuk tuks outside. They offer a $26 tuk tuk tour that can be split among 4 people to the Genocide museum and the Killing Fields. They have a no-shoes policy inside the building. Most people respect this, but occasionally, you get some “bro” who just doesn’t care and walks everywhere. To be fair, there are quite a few people who wear their sandals inside and and outside, so the floor probably isn’t actually super clean. Bar stays open till 11 p.m. It’s not super noisy. (I’m a pretty light sleeper, but I still managed to fall asleep each night with a little bit of Melatonin.) The street outside the hostel is fairly quiet. There is no laundry on site, so you have to walk about 5 minutes.

Great hostel, warm staff”

Rooms are basic, water bottle refill offered at small cost. Whole pool area could use a good wipe down as it’s a little dusty from construction next door. The pool & cafe are very nice and lounge areas are great for meeting people and hanging out. Nice to have a pool for hot sun and location is close to bar area without the night noise.

Spotlessly clean”

Sheets were changed daily. AC was regularly turned off sometime in the morning and until 6pm. Some lowkey music in the pool and garden area, no loud parties. Spotty wifi. On the whole I was happy with it.

best hostel in PP”

I've stayed in many hostel in PP, and this is the best !!!! low stories building, only 2 floors, so you do not need to climb many staircases to get to your room. My dorm of 6 pax in a room, with one personal bathroom/toilet in our dorm, so you might face some problem when 6 people wanted to use one single toilet. Nice small restaurant, affordable price and good taste, and always got happy hrs promo. with a big swimming pool. Daily room cleaning , keep my bed sheet cleaned and changed daily. The most clean hostel i've stayed. Big locker for you to keep your things (bring your own lock). Location, does not near to any attraction place, but there are a lot of local taxi waiting you outside, so it is very convenient. Near to few hospital/medical center.

best hostel to stay in PP”

I've stay in few hostel in PP, and this is the best so far !! Only low stories building, most rooms are located at ground/1st floor , or 2nd floor, so you do not need to climb many staircases to reach ur room. Daily room service and the dorms are very clean. Toilet/shower room is big. One thing you need to worry, is that 6 pax sharing one private room toilet/shower room, so you may face some difficulties. Nice restaurant attached, food are reasonable and always got happy hrs treat. With a big swimming pool. Staff are very helpful. Location is not near to much attraction places, but outside there are many "local taxi" waiting for you, so is convenience enough for you to take the transport to any of your attraction place.

Great place to stay”

This is really great place to stay in Phnom Penh. Good value for money, outdoor area really nice to chill and do some work. Wifi worked well most of the time. Rooms are nice and cleaned daily. Food a bit overpriced and not the best, not a lot of vegetarian options. Also, i forgot to ask for my deposit back when checking out and staff didn’t mention about it. Which is quite a shame as i was overall very pleased with the stay...

A great place to have a break from "CAMBODIA"”

The food is great -- the breakfast, such a nice western breakfast (asian infulence available if wanted).. Also, the dinner is amazing.. The Duck was phenomenal. Everyone is so friendly and respectful and wants you to feel special and have a good time. We had been travelling for a few weeks, in a cheap manner, and needed some pampering. A glorious bed, multiple pillows, beautiful shower, big tv, great pool, and reasonably priced! Love it, and next time I need a break from Cambodian guesthouses, I will pamper myself again by staying here.

BEST place for relaxing, feels like a 5 star experience!”

staff are so friendly, make you feel so welcome and are eager to help with anything. the breakfast is amazing - I had bacon and eggs and toast as I was missing western food, and it was phenomenal! the pool is big enough to do laps in (most pools in P.P are the size of bathtubs!), this pool is great and super clean. Beautiful high ceilings, classic-modern finishing, a great safe, and a fridge - which stays on all the time, even if you go out (often places turn off all the power in ur room when u go.out, but here they only turn off the A.C, so u can charge ur phone, keep the fridge cold, etc). bed and blankets and so many pillows - such a treat! Having travelled around SE Asia for a while we needed a place to get back to normal feeling, this was great. the food is also all delicious, chicken cashew was amazing for dinner. everyone is friendly, lots of security, rooms are soundproof, so a great sleep!

Its a lovely hotel. The calm and serenity is broken by the construction of some building right in front. The pool is ever so inviting. The owner is very welcoming. Just makes you feel right at home. Breakfast is good and the drinks not bad. very well priced. returning back to the hotel after a day of being out was a great feeling.

Very pleasant”

Service, staff, location

Over the years I've stayed at a number of places in Phnom Penh, and this is one I would definitely return to. I found the staff, and the owner, very helpful, and the location was very good. Quiet at night, and comfortable room. I was also impressed by the cleanliness of the hotel, and the way it was obviously, but unobtrusively, well-run.

Location, pool, staff

Stayed here for a night. Room and bathroom was spacious. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast and bar area is facing the pool. Pool is great for a dip especially during the afternoon. Within a 5 minutes walk is the Independence monument and also to the side walks with plenty of restaurants. Tuk-tuk and motortaxis are available just outside the hotel. Would return if in Phnom Penh again!

A great 'gay' hotel”

Security with pin code activated gates, cleanliness, proximity to night life

We had a great stay at what is mainly promoted as a gay hotel in a city with interesting night life within close proximity. Loved the staff uniforms and the attention given to us during our time there. David, the owner was extremely helpful at all times giving good advice on what was worth seeing while in the area. Very highly recommended.

Quaint and friendly in Phnom Penh”

Feels like staying ina friends big house

We really enjoyed ourselves and would certainly return in the future. Quiet and cozy. It is clearly a gay friendly hotel but we as a straight couple didn't find this to be a problem at all. If you are bothered by middle aged men with younger cambodian boys stay away. We found the staff to be kind and helpful and the other guests were polite an quiet.

Great B&B type hotel”

Friendly staff, comfortable rooms, quiet, pleasant place to stay

The B&B style small hotel is located in an old home that I was told was once the residence of the Japanese Embassy staff. My room was spacious and comfortable, very clean with standard features ((TV, refrigerator, comp. water). Beautiful pool area next to outdoors breakfast area. Breakfast included was cooked to order each morning rather than being typical buffet style, and breakfast was available from 6:30am to 11:30am. Staff was was very friendly and helpful with advice on sights, eating locations and general information abut Phnom Penh. Tuk-tuks parked right outside the front gate were always available with friendly drivers charging very reasonable prices. It is very relaxing place to return to after being out-and-about all day in Phnom Penh. This is a gay friendly place to stay, and does cater to the gay community, although by no means exclusively gay.
