Beautiful Views, lovely apartment.”
The view from the apartments is sensational. The bed comfy and the place itself is very clean, modern and well equipped with everything you need. It would be a bit far to walk to town, however we had a car and the parking was free. Would definitely stay here again and happily recommend.

We enjoyed our stay”
It’s a lovely apartment, very nicely furnished and clean. Fabulous views, although to achieve this the property is set high up on the hill. It’s easy to get to and from by car (with easy parking on the road outside the property) but if you are walking into the centre of Queenstown and back there is the choice of a very steep hill or many steep steps. This wasn’t an issue for us as we appreciated the exercise but it could be an issue for people less mobile. I was surprised, on arrival, that the extra bed we had booked and paid for was not in situ and the hosts didn’t appear to know anything about it? Despite this (which was disappointing as I had been charged for it) the hosts sorted it out straight away. The bed was very comfortable and We enjoyed our stay

Was such a beautiful stay. The view from here was amazing. Rooms were huge and very clean. ”
The only thing I would fault is it was a little too far to walk to town that we had to get an Uber each way but otherwise the place was amazing. There was no face to face staff we communicated by a phone at the front but we had no issues to have to talk to a staff the rest of our stay there.

We were on the first floor, and still had amazing views! Don’t know what other reviewers complained about. They have a 3rd floor lounge with amazing facilities and even better views. Hill back up from Queenstown was a bit of a hike up, but to be expected.

Manor Park Lodge”
I was disappointed to find the kitchenette only had a microwave. We had to wash our dishes in the handbasin. The room had lovely view & large bed which was good. The Manager had to come to show us how to get the TV online & also replace a couple of bulbs. We were told to park in the driveway & ended up with a parking fine as driveway not very long & we slightly overlapped the footpath. The only other parking was on the road.

No check in staff so had to call to be told key was in the room. Room was clean, light in bathroom did not turn on sensor not working and when it did work only stayed on for about 1 minute had to use the heat lamps as light glad I'm not paying the electricity. No table in the room so could not eat there, says off road parking but was told had to park on the road even though the drive was empty. For the cost I would not recommend or stay there again as there are many more better places to stay

studios are at street level”
Amazing views. However, the photos don’t show that the two studio apartments #1 and #2 are on street level. Because of this, you are unlikely to keep the blinds up to enjoy the view most of the time. People on the streets, your neighbour staying in the other studio apartment on the ground floor and cars driving pass can easily see you in bed. Also note that the balcony sliding door is the ONLY door to enter and leave studio rooms # 1 and #2. This makes the room slightly uncomfortable Because most of us are used to having a separate door. It also makes entering and leaving the room slightly awkward if you keep the blinds down, which you will presumably want to do when you leave for the day. Lastly, because of the ceiling to floor sliding doors / windows, it can get chilly. Studio #2 has some water damage near the small fridge but is otherwise in good order and clean. No safe, which added to our preference to leave the blinds down when we left the apartment for the day.

Very limited facilities however for a few nights its perfect. No cooking facilities however a small fridge and microwave are available. All cutlery and crockery was stored in bedside draws which was odd. Views were amazing parking really easy on road outside would Recommend for a short stay.

We stayed at this location in January. The view are truly breathtaking. We arrived on time and the room was not ready. On arrival we were told that they will assign one of the 2 rooms on the grd floor to us which are also smaller in size and restrict access to other amenities. The view is through the sliding door entrance overlooking a common patio area. This room restricts access to the TV lounge, Game Room, Laundry or the Balcony on the top floor as you need a keypad PIN to gain access which is not shared with you. The washroom lights wouldnt work. We informed the caretaker and he said to use the heat lamp for light instead or leave the door open. There is no A/C at this property so turning on heat lamp in summer isnt a good option. Leaving the door open meant the strangers in the patio could see in so had to close the blinds which meant no view from the room for anyone. Next day we moved to the room on 1st floor. This room was more private but the door lock was broken. Not safe!

This is just a room in a house therefore poor noise insulation. Views are great. Room is adequate, one heater and electric blankets provided. Kitchenette is sparsely equipped (eg no tin opener or sharp knives). There is no access to common lounge and kitchen, contrary to what is advertised. No staff on site; we had no hot water for two nights and manager difficult to contact by phone

Not impressed”
This property is managed remotely. This made rectifying one of our issues difficult. On check in it was noticed that one of our rooms had a distinct odor of cigarettes. It seems the previous occupant had been either smoking in the room and/or the patio outside. It appeared the ash tray was emptied into the sink as the smell was stronger in that part of the room. The manager did little to rectify and informed us that it was something burned in the microwave, smelt too much like tobacco to be the case . The occupant has a medical history of athsma so it was not a good situation to be in. On my 2nd call to the manager I tried to use the phone in the room which said that no credit was available. The location is a significant distance from town (halfway to Frankton), not close by Queenstowns standards. The place is currently on the market and I think the current owner has little interest in providing a quality service.

Disappointing view & service ”
The studio room I was given for two nights is on G/F, so the lake view is greatly obstructed by the grass and plants! And there was no service at all, not even refilling the amenities. I knew it takes a 20-minute walk from the city centre to the apartment. But I still gave it a go for the view, but it turned out to be a letdown!

TERRIBLE BAD NO RESPONSE NO REPLY ”
Despite covid 19 badly affected we totally couldn't fly over. Our flight was cancled. We can't even travel. Emailed the hotel since March never reply and Agoda lastly called them end of August was so resistant to give us cancle the room. Everyone was so flexible to cancle BAD SERVICE BAD HOTEL DEFINATELY WILL NEVER BOOK OR VISIT YOUR HOTEL AGAIN

The place has a nice view of the lake, has off-street parking and is a pleasant place to stay. Room had good sized bathroom (no bathtub but shower), mini kitchen (no cooking facility, you have microwave, bowls and cutleries). Bed was comfortable, the room was very clean and well looked aftered. We really enjoyed our stay at Manor Park Lodge.
