AMAZING PLACE, VALUE FOR MONEY”
I have stayed at this resort twice now and it would probably be the only place I ever stay at while in the Gold Cost. Both stays I booked 2 bdrm apartments and although the apartment is quite outdated in terms of furniture and décor the resort itself definitely makes up for that. The pool area is AMAZING, we had breakfast by the pool every morning at the little canteen they have there (Which by the way is run by the most wonderful Lady) serves a beautiful big breakfast for $8-$9. The lobby itself is breathtaking. Only a 5 minute walk from the main street of Surfers Paradise. I personally wouldn't stay anywhere else.
Great location and lovely rooms”
we had a one bedroom apartment - it furnished nicely and the perfect size. we didn't get an ocean facing room, but our views of the canals and the rest of the gold coast were still great as no other buildings block the view. bathroom was big and the shower is awesome! coles is only a very short walk away, so we stocked up on food making our stay nice and cheap. it is very close to surfers central and although we had a hire car, it was easy to walk to everything, including skypoint tower. its located near 2 differnt mini gold places, which is great to do at night. the service was great. the only downside is they were still in the process of installing their wifi, so it wasn't available and we only had enough dishwasher detergent for one wash - so we had to buy more. same with bin bags and a sponge. however, we paid for the non-serviced apartment, so things like milk, tea and coffee, detergent were not stocked up.
Beautiful, family friendly hotel in great location”
The hotel is beautiful from the moment you walk in. Lovely relaxed environment. With an outdoor lagoon pool, kids lagoon pool with a slide, indoor heated pool, an indoor and outdoor spa, arcade room, pool side cafe, Thai restaurant and another little restaurant, there isn't much need to leave the hotel. The location is great and only a very short walk to the beach and Cavill Ave/Timezone. We had a 1 bedroom apartment for myself, my husband and our 1 year old. It was more than enough room although the only downfall is that the room was a bit outdated and lacked in kitchen supplies. The staff were amazingly helpful when it came to our requests and concerns/questions. The security latch on our door was broken and once mentioned to the staff, they had it fixed very promptly. Having never really given the Gold Coast a chance, we we're very happy with our experience. Will definitely recommend to anyone and everyone and we will most certainly be back!
The view was great! There's a small open air amusement park just across the road & we can see the folks bungee jumping & screaming at night. The location is perfect! Tram station is on one side, bus stop on the other side of the apt. The core Surfers Paradise is just 1 tram station away, actually even within walking distance. The reception staff were friendly & helpful, we kind of visit them every morning to ask for directions & to buy bus cards (GO card). Supermarket (Coles) is just 5 mins walk away, there's 2 convenience stores within 3 mins walk. The apt itself is v well maintained, clean, free of smoke smell, complete kitchen amenities. Eating out on the main street (surfers paradise) is a little exp, but u just have to turn the corner into side streets, there r so many smaller, less exp eateries, chinese cooking, jap, kebabs, etc. There's sauna & steam rm in the ladies changing rm in the indoor pool.
Great location and big space within the apartment”
the crown towers resort apartments is great for family with young children. the apartment inside has a lot of spaces, much better than a hotel room. the kid's pool is excellent. a lot of fun for my child. the apartment is also very clean. the location is also great with bus stops just outside the resort for movie world, sea world and dream world. shopping center and cafe is only 5 minutes walk from the resort.
Crown Towers Gold Coast”
Enjoyed staying at this resort and would be very happy to return for future holidays. Also be very happy to recommend Crown Towers to family and friends as a place to relax and enjoy. The modern designed building and pleasant surrounds all make for a good holiday destination. Connecting airport shuttle buses provide easy access at all times of the day.
Good stay on the Gold Coast. ”
The room was very good, clean and close to all of the tourist attractions on the Gold Coast. The pool and cafes well presented. Our only downside was that of a comment by Agoda After we had paid for the room we received a message from Agoda complimenting us for "getting the cheapest room at the Mantra." We were insulted to be classed as cheapstakes after taking advantage of one of your deals.
Spectacular Lagoon Pool but Too Expensive”
The Crown Towers has the best pool area for kids we have ever experienced. Even a genuine cave (with teeth!) in the middle of the huge lagoon pool. The pool kiosk is wonderful - great food (toasted sandwiches and hot dogs, etc) and pool essentials (sunscreen, swimming nappies, beach balls) and friendly service. Also a heated smaller outdoor pool area with slide and pirate ship. And a heated indoor pool, spa, steam room and sauna. The rooms are big and pleasant. The views are fantastic. The furniture is fine but a bit worn. The two downsides are that it is far too dear (for three nights) and at this price, there was no room service at all included. Also insufficient dishwashing liquid (one tiny sachet for 3 nights with 4 people!) toilet rolls etc for three nights. You are meant to buy your own. Not fine at these kinds of prices for a 2 bedroom apartment which is fine but certainly not 5 star. The Thai restaurant is wonderful. The Coast Seafood and Steak place is very poor - mediocre food, sniffy service and high prices. We would go back if the room rates were lower. A two room ocean view apartment in peak season at a place like this is worth max. . No more than that. They need to drop the idea of not doing any room service (not even fresh towels) or supplying basic essentials like toilet paper and dishwashing liquid. This kind of stinginess just focuses attention on the high room rate you are paying.
Nice and quite location close to everything”
really like it! very quite and calm surroundings, hotel is very family friendly with very 'gold coasty' beachy waves, sand and fishes drawings on the walls. A pirate ship in the outdoor pool - very friendly for families with kids. nice, clean and big room with huge balcony. Very! friendly staff. We had trouble with flights and had to leave one day earlier with very short notice to the hotel - we did not expected anything for one night we paid but didn't stay but hotel manager was very kind and gave us 1 night free offer for a next year - which we thought was very nice. Also big underground parking and one of the best Thai restaurants on the ground level, prices are quite reasonable.
Great Hotel with everything you need”
Crown Towers was great The rooms are big and well set out. The kitchen has ample space and the best thing is the washing machine and clothes dryer which is in a seperate room. Pool and lobby beautiful TV's small and old but 1 in each room. Will definitley stay again.
The room we received was beautiful with fantastic views of the surf and very spacious for our liking. Just far enough away from inner Surfers Paradise but close enough to walk into.
Passionate Staff and spacious room”
The hotel is a bit old-furnished and has some sort of salty smell as we enter the room each time. Not sure if it is the air con or because the room is located near the beach. About 10 mins walk from surfer paradise n a tram station jux below the hotel, which make good access to other parts of Gold coast. Staff are helpful.
nice hotel , a little dated”
great location in surfers paradise , right in the middle of all the action, close to beach. great restaurant connected to hotel downstairs also. the pool is large and welcoming. the hotel itself, and interioir of rooms i felt was a little dated when you compare the quality of some of the neighboring resorts which was disappointing due to the hefty price tag still attached . if prices were lower i think i wold be more comfortable accepting it.
Great family hotel”
The hotel facilities are perfect for a family with kids. The pool area is beautiful and diverse. A super adventure wonderland to keep children of all ages occupied. The hotel has good facilities and is perfectly located in Surfers only a short stroll to the beach.
Lovely staff & great pool - but very dated decor”
The hotel needs a facelift. Walking into Mantra Crown Towers, it all looks lovely and spacious in reception. Same when you enter the hotel room. The furniture, décor, sheets and towels are all very dated. paint peeling off room walls and in the carpet, it just needs some money spent on it. The pool was great for the little one - and the Thai restaurant downstairs was always busy (though we didn't get to try it). Overall, for the price, I would not stay here again. For that price, I would expect more comfortable furnishings, and a new or near new room. Staff were lovely though.
Good stay, ashame it wasn't longer”
Nice place to stay, especially for families. Pool was amazing. Short walk to everything in surfers paradise. The only minor criticism is the rooms could do with a decor update, however were still very clean.
Great swimming for families”
We liked the level of comfort in the rooms. They were large apartments with all the features that you need for a week away with a family. The resort has made some effort to upgrade carpets and kitchens etc.
Fantastic resort for couple or ppl with kids all ages”
Fantastic hotel/resort couldn't really fault the place only that I was on a lower level and my room didn't have a spa bath oh and the water pressure on the shower wasn't to great other then that this place had everything u need or could want to do I felt relaxed and at home the whole time so all in all I would stay here over and over again no fuss and recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to relax.
Nice hotel for family with young children”
