great central location”
perfect little place to stopover for a night or 2 has everything you need and a bit more with regards to space would come back again easy parking prior to being able to check in and could leave car there after checkout with no problems
Location is good.”
Location is good. If coming during winter months, bring along a bathroom slippers. Flooring is cold along the pantry area.
Value for Money”
The location is very convenient, just walk 5 to 10mins will reach Queen St Mall. Check in is easy too and the staff are very friendly.
Good location easy parking (nd to pay) 24hour lobby ”
good location in Brisbane, restaurants, super markets in walking distance. Can do Laundry, and easy cooking. in-all, recommend for family friends of 5
Our deal came with breakfast (choice of hot drink and main from menu) and the breakfast was very good. The location is perfect and the room is spacious with laundry facilities and kitchenette (we didnt need to use them). Pretty happy - only complaint was the corridor to the room smelt......
Pros: 1) The location is fantastic. 2) The apartment is wonderful. Very clean, neat, stylish and has everything you need 3) Breakfast is wonderful! Order from the menu and it is true restaurant quality. Generous servings. Cons: 1) Service staff is extremely strict with the rules (such as parking).. will not even allow extending the parking for the guests to walk around the city after checking out. There are plenty of parking spaces, so why not allow that instead of trying to squeeze every cent out of the hotel guests from parking? 2) Parking is exorbitant. I feel that given the space that they already have, they should give some privileges to hotel guests.
Great spot, can't believe I haven't stayed here before”
We often stay in the city for a night out. The Mantra Midtown had a special on so I booked it. We were upgraded to a one bedroom. Although the room was small it had everything that we needed. It was clean and very close to all amenities.
Excellent position close to city”
We enjoyed our stay here as it was walking distance to the Gabba and in this case our dinner venue. I loved the cafes and shopping underneath. The car parking was a bit of a challenge to actually locate but found it ok in the end. The room was excellent self contained, clean and quiet.
Great location & fantastic value for families. Negative is the elevators were ridiculous wait times.”
The only thing negative i would say was that only one lift was functional and wait times was really beyond what you would expect from any hotel that has approx. 27 floors, up to 10 min wait at times. We even climed 10 flights of stairs with small children just because there were lines at the lifts and it took forever to get on and then they were so full.
We'll return to this apartment”
We stayed at Midtown for 4 nights for ceremony was held in Fortitude Vally. Mantra is one of my favouriet accommodation that siuts to my family demand to sleep in own bed, thus 2 bed rooms provided us 2 single beds, a queen bed and an extra bed. Midtown is best of Mantra where I've ever stayed. There are cafe, take-away shops, pharmacy, ATM and bus stops nearby. You better to make a booking eraly to grab a room as you see it's very populer.
I picked the Mantra Midtown due to it's close proximity to the Eagle St Pier/Riverside precinct and it was perfect easy walking distance. The bed was super comfortable but it was slightly noisy so the noise of people coming back to their rooms would wake me up. A bit disappointed that the car park was full but the receptionist told my husband upon check in that the Wilson's car park next door was available for the same overnight price of $25 so imagine my husband's horror when leaving the car park my husband was charged $77. Must remember when booking a hotel in the city to also book parking
Excellent Stay. Everything we needed.”
Fantastic clean and modern rooms. The Beds were comfortable. Easy check-in and check out and the staff were helpful and friendly. We did not use the restaurant so I can not comment on the food. I would definitely stay here again.
Excellent apartments in a fantastic location”
I had a fantastic one night stay at these apartments. I stayed in a studio room and while smallish, it certainly had everything I needed. The bed was very comfortable, there was a great kitchenette with full size fridge, microwave, stove etc. It also had a washing machine & dryer, which would be handy for longer stays. The bathroom was small but very modern, well laid out and absolutely spotless. The apartment also had a comfy couch and tv area, which is unusual for a studio room and there was a small balcony. There was a ceiling fan, and the aircon had an easy to use control, and cooled the room beautifully (it was warm when I stayed). Parking was easy, at a cost of $25 per night. Didn't use the internet, so not sure of the speed or price. There's a great pool and BBQ area, and the gym is compact but has some great equipment. No restaurant, but no need for one when you step outside and you're in the middle of the city. Location is fantastic. Would definitely stay here again, and would recommend it to anyone.
Comfortable beds close to city”
Comfortable beds are always a main attraction of any accommodation and Midtown did not let us down on this aspect. There not called Midtown for nothing placed at the base of the mall and walking distance to Southbank. We arrived early and staff advised our room was not available and suggested a walk in the mall and rang as soon as it was available all with a smile and very friendly service, well done and thanks.
The stay was great as the hotel is near to the heart of CBD of Brisbane. Close proximity to the shopping complexes and lots of restaurants nearby. The hotel is very new and the staff are all friendly. It would be great if they have a seperate shower and tub. Would definitely return back to midtown.
Clean and Comfort Apartment”
It is a good choice for a family to stay when visiting to Brisbane. The journey from downtown to airport takes only 20 mins airtrain transport time. Moreover, the location is good for family who can shop at nearby supermarket for some groceries to bring back for cook. Recommend to those who go for a clean and comfort apartment environment!
Great clean new apartments”
Everything was great, the apartment is smallish but has dishwasher and oven and all other facilities one needs except free wifi (can access in the lobby I think). Good location. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Our local friends that visited were pretty impressed too.
Great location ”
Central downtown. Just around the corner from numerous shops, restaurants, and grocery stores. Skip the paying for the breakfast included rate and walk to the Pancake Manor just down the street, open 24/7, you won’t be disappointed.
Really good apartment option”
Fantastic value money. Large, clean and modern apartments cheaper than an average hotel room. Much nicer than the similarly priced Mantra on Mary too.
good locatation , clean room and friendly staff (esp . Rebecca)
