"My friends and I spent a night at the Manukan Island Resort during the low season, so we did not encounter any issues with noise from the public visiting Manukan Island. It was as if we had the whole island to ourselves! (which was really great) The room was very spacious, comfortable and just right for the five of us (2 queen size beds with an additional mattress). Food was excellent and we enjoyed the free flow of fresh fruit juice prepared by the staff on the spot for us. We also had an excellent time at the beach and pool reserved for in-house guests. Overall, it was a very excellent stay and I definitely wish to return for another stay if I ever visit Sabah again. The only suggestion for improvement I would give is to upgrade the path leading towards the Sunset Point. Adding more lamp posts would definitely help visitors who are leaving the place late in the evening when it is already dark. The shelter at the Sunset Point also needs some repairing."
