During my visist the club lounge was closed for renovation, AC was down for 1 night due to chiller maintenance. View wasn't fantastic, but the staffs made a difference :)

Awful service, old hotel with moldy smell, great location. ”
The hotel location is fabulous, located right by the shopping district, bus station, and ferry terminal. However, it is old and without renovation so you can find aromatic diffuser on every floor to cover the moldy smell. Also the front desk service personnel is awful. When I called to tell her that the air conditioner in my room was broken and the room is a freezing 18℃, she simply said she can't change room for me but will "send me some more quilt for the night". Then when I went to the front desk personally to confront with the manager, he finally promised to change the room when it's already 11pm...

Good location, poor value for the money”
We stayed in a deluxe harbour view room. Nice view, clean room, in bath shower, average standard and size. Good bed. Front desk staff kind. We had access to Canton lounge which was a disappointment. Small lounge, limited access to food and drinks, no staff. Breakfast was also served here and was not what you expect from the price. Location next to Harbour shopping and star ferry was very good. The price we paid is not in any way corresponding to what we got. Half the price would have been OK. We will, for this reason alone, not come back again.

Insensitive hotel management ”
Booked for 18th October by mistake instead of 8th October as web page of Agoda refreshed and date seemed to have changed.. Despite my request well in time to change the booking to 8th October, the hotel did not agree. .Agoda’s intervention did not help and I had to loose SGD300/-. I will never stay at this hotel or recommend it to anyone.

Luxurious, well-appointed suite in a world-class location”
Stayed here for just one weekend nite after a couple of days at another business hotel. Pricey but if you are looking to give yourself a treat, well, this is just superb. We were put into a very spacious suite, very comfortable and well-appointed. The location right above Harbour City shopping mall at Tsim Sha Tsui is fantastic both for the views, convenience and to experience the buzz of HK. Can't wait to visit again.

Prince Hotel instead of Marco Polo Hongkong”
Marco Polo Hongkong Hotel couldn’t run the service because of broken down electricity. Then they transferred me to Prince Hotel. I also like the room becuase Prince offerer me the suite. The problem was I had booked for the harbour view room type.. The Prince couldn’t find such the room for us. Marco Polo Hotel, had better to email or to call us for giving me the issue informations. I had no choice but to go to Prince. This is kind of unfair. The Marco Polo Hongkong Hotel is quite expensive than the rest of them, I had chosen to stay here for particular reason. However, I understand the circumstance and believed you had tried the best you can to manage the booking. So ever, next time, customer should know and make the decision.

Poor service & risk management during power-off by Typhoon ”
Encoutered typhoon Mangkhut on 16/09, electricity off since 3pm but no notification from hotel at all, wifi was off & lifts down. We called frontdesk a few times but failed, finally operator answered aft 3 hrs, we asked abt the cause of the power-off & update of status, she didnt give clear explanation. We called again at 8pm+...housekeeping said tonight power not able to recover...but the hotel totally hided this from us. Later the manager called back & told us they’ll transfer us to Murray Hotel but we need to wait for an hour+. We asked shall we pack & go down to lobby to wait now, the manager told us to wait in the room & will inform us when ready. We waited till 9:30pm, starving...but still no news. So we carried luggage & walk downstairs to lobby to ask the hotel staff, they just pointed us to queue up & said will send us to Hotel Royal Pacific instead in 10 mins. We then queue & waited for 20 mins still no car to pick up, it was 10pm+. In the end we got no choice but check out..

Unfriendly staff! I just stay one night for 12 hours only. I was supposed I could get a good service here cos this hotel is a 5 star hotel. However the check in staff was very unfriendly as I was booked the superior room and I request high floor room and a double bed rather than a single bed but the staff was impatient and rejected me. I was a bit angry and later on she said there have a double bed room. i think i won’t stay in this hotel anymore

After some issues with room facilities not working, the staff recovered the process beautifully and even delivered a birthday cake with a handwritten card. The hotel is grand in the classic 5 star style but it’s the staff who really make this hotel deluxe.
