a small and cozy village-like atmosphere
the best location where we can eat local foods in Moalboal. friendly staff everywhere humble folk without temptation.
After 2 and half hour-driving from the Cebu city, we can easily find a small and cozy village-like atmosphere around the main street. There are lots of shops and restaurants for divers and travelers with low prices there. Some staff will probably help you what you want, like calling a taxi to the Kawasan water-fall or the white beach. I stayed a triple room 3 days, 2 nights, and really enjoyed diving and swimming in the pool by using attached facilities. At night I hung out at a bar around there due to lacking of TV in my room. Then I had myself a good time with listening to music an amateur band played. Unfortunately, however, there are two shortcomings that the beach in front of the hotel is too small and rocky to walk around. When walking through the coral reel shoreline, a corner of rocks broke through my sandal and stuck me in the right sole of my foot. lol The other thing is that hotel facilities, like an a/c or a shower, are so old and well worn that you might ask to get them fixed. Overall, I really felt like going astray into the tropical paradise.

For budget trip
Room, Pool and Staff
It is a hotel with a pool, but not in the same building. You will have to walk 2 minutes to get to the restaurant and that's where the pool is. It is quite cheap for a hotel with a swimming pool to enjoy :) The breakfast was just okay... Haven't tried their other food from their restaurant because we ate out. There are other restaurants and cafeteria around this resort. Went to white beach, 10 minutes away by tricycle, paid 300Php (back and forth) and paid 15Php for the entrance fee. The tricycle will send you there and then pick you up at agreed time. There are eateries there (local foods only) no posh restaurants for posh people :D So if you are posh, bring posh food before you get there :D We enjoyed swimming so much at the white beach, not too crowded too. I definitely recommend this hotel for those who have tight budget.

average hotel nothing special
close to sea / close to a bar / close to town
Nothing bad/good. Just average stay. Uncofortable beds and a very hot room without a.c Internet superslow and most of the time didnt work at all. Close to the ocean and very nice water, just like swiming in an aquarium. Didnt spend much time at the hotel (not that kind of hotel u wanna hang out on the room really)

slow wifi / warm room/ bad bed
close to sea / close to a bar / decent breakfast
My stay here was ok, but very hot nights with no ac and only a fan. Internetconnection was really weak and the bed was really bad. Somewhat clean rooms and close to the town/ocean.

Value for Money
clean room, especially bathroom, helpfull and attentive staff
Generally good & nice stay in this hotel. However, going there by car was not easy due to the unpaved road and chaotic parked tricyles along the way. Street was narrow and dusty. Unfortunately pool and restaurant where not at the hotel’s location.

Good, comfortable budget accommodation
Position,, staff,
The staff are friendly and generally helpful. The included breakfast is tasty and sufficient to start the day. The rooms are budget but are comfortable enough. The owner, Alfredo, was there and he is very friendly and generous. We extended our stay for another 5 nights. The snorkelling and diving here is beautiful.
