Our room was a good size. The bed was very good and bed linen was clean. Other hotels we stayed in offered a free bottle of water but this hotel did not have that and also there was a kettle and two mugs in our room but no coffee/ tea sachets. We ask for them at the reception but we never got any. Good breakfast selection.

2 Nights with room change in Stuttgart”
Location: Since Stuttgart seemed quite spread out, most of the locations we visited were only accessible by tram . There is a train station not far from the hotel. If you have more time, you may be able to do without the train. Cleanliness: We had 2 different rooms in 2 days. The second room, a junior suite , had a cracked sink and several stains on the carpet table. In the first room we noticed a black spot on the ceiling which we thought was an insect. Since our suite was cheaper than normal we overlooked it. Staff: Very friendly staff at the reception with slight difficulties in making arrangements when changing shifts or changing rooms. 1 day parking garage was given to us for minor inconvenience. Facilities: In the Junior Suite, separate shower and tub. In the Comfort Room shower was in the tub, which we didn't like. Coffee fully automatic machine in the suite was great. Price/Performance: OK

To stingy to turn on the airconditioners in the rooms!!”
My husband and I booked 2 nights stay here as we "assumed" it was a reputable and comfortable hotel. The weather was unusually warm for early June so we turned on the air conditioning in our room for some comfort. Alas all it did was blow out hot air at an approximate temperature of 27 degrees and make such a noise I thought I was standing on the tarmac at the airport! We called the front desk and explained the situation and the staff member said she would send a technician immediately. The said Technician arrived a few minutes later and explained to us that none of the air conditioners in any of the rooms were working, and not due to a fault or a problem but because they are too expensive to run!! And that they can ONLY be turned on in July! so to the senior management of Maratim hotels, you obviously DO NOT care about the comfort of your clients, and the poor staff you employ have to be the ones who deliver the message to us unhappy, and uncomfortable customers. We were given a small pedestal desk fan, that was damaged and not safe to use!! Thank you to the front desk staff and the catering staff, they were all very pleasant.

First of all it is right that our recirculating air system cool "only" to 7°C under outside temperature and is not completely comparable to an A/C as you know it for example from the US which could cool a room down to 16°C. And yes, if it is not really warm outside allready the cooling unit is usually not turned on. But if the temperatures rise outside we switch on the cooling system, indipendant from the month. I am very sorry if the technician you've talked to gave you some other information and didn't help you. We expected more from a 4 star hotel in Germany”
In general we expected more from this hotel.It is more a congress hotel. The acoustic in the entrance is below the normal level when a lot of people are standing there and talking. You can not understand each other anymore. The bathroom is foreseen with modern digital bottoms which do not function properly. The shower is then not functioning. What we liked was the quality of the bed and the breakfast. The location is close to the center. So make your own choice. We will not come back.

This is something we can't avoid completely at a hotel as big as ours - with 555 rooms the biggest hotel in Baden-Württemberg to be exact. Location and parking is convenient. Parking fee is 21 EUR per day. Many lots available. As we drove, this was why we chose this hotel. However, the room condition is actually worse than what we expected. We were given the room at the ground floor. The room was quite old, unlike in the Agoda photos. Worst than ever, the room does not have A/C which is terribly stuffy and hot. We requested for fan and was given the broken one. We had to fix it by ourselves and it actually did not help much. As in the ground floor, we also could not open the window. We really REGRETED in booking this hotel. So, we would not recommend this poor condition hotel to any of you who are considering this hotel.

Malodorous Smell filling the Room !!”
Although I’ve been given a non smoking room, the room was stinking from smoking. The bed mattress and the pillows are not comfortable. 2 minutes walk From the reception to the room. No fridge or coffee machine or electric cattle in the room. 5 minutes walking from the nearest supermarket or grocery.

It is right that it is a bit to walk to the rooms in the park wing. Therefore the rooms there are even quieter as the rooms in the main building are already. Lovely hotel with great service and nice room”
we stay over a weekend in the maritim hotel stuttgart, to visit the canstatter wasen. it's a lovely and nice hotel with a friendly staff. the room was nice, clean and big, included a lovely lounge. the choice on the breakfast buffet was fresh and great, also that it was a lot of peopel on this weekend in the hotel, the serving staff and the reception team was verry friendly and helpful. on midnight we visited the bar in front of the reception. what a pity, the stink of some cigar-smokers was horribel. in all the other countrys, smoking is not permited in all the restaurants and bars - why not in germany ??

I am travelling from Frankfurt to Stuttgart, this hotel that i booked has better room and standard compare with Mercure which i stay in frankfurt with the same price. The only complaint about the hotel is the pillow which is too low for my hubby. The shower was strong which my hubby like it. It is not near to main station, need to walk about 5min to tram station and took two station. With a short walk of like 15min, you can reach to a shopping center with lots of restaurant. Will return to stay again next time if comes to Stuttgart

It was great experience, hotel is located in the center of Stuttgart so all restaurants and shops were close. Very friendly and smiling staff, room was cleaned every day. Hotel has a swimming pool but unfortunately I found out about that on arrival so didn't take swimming suit.The hotel is huge so it took some time to get to my room.

All good, spacious and clean room, restaurants in the hotel and close by. Not a design gem but solid hotel chique. Garage is spacious enough for big cars. Tram and church bells right in front but otherwise quiet. Good mix of people, not too stuffy. Should give away high speed wifi for free given the price please.

Very pleasant ”
I stayed in a junior suite that was a good sized room for a suite. The decor is a bit dated but that is typical of many german hotels. The room is very clean and well presented. Very large bathroom. The free wifi isn't great- it cuts out the whole time! Staff are very friendly and are always ready to help even though i spoke little german. a pleasant stay overall!
