Great Family Resort 10 min away from the hustle and bustle”
It was amazing! The value is unbelievable. Very clean hotel and super friendly. Food is great. They literary grow their own vegetables on the bank of the Nile river and harvest it every day. Free breakfast buffets offered delicious food and dinner buffets cost only $12. There are Italian, French, Buffet restaurants and a bar that also serves food. Staff are very personable and helpful. Pools are nice and clean. The big pool with slides is very good for the children. There is another one that is heated in the winter months doesn't allow children - which is a plus for couples. All pools have bars. The SPA is very affordable as well. 2 hour massage with steam room and facial was only $50. You also can do your nails done and get a haircut at the Salon.
Taxis are only 2 min call away. Drive to the downtown of Luxor (Luxor Temple) takes only 10 min. Free of charge shuttle to the city. Hotel has a fixed price for taxis to take you to an excursion, which is half of the street price! Book it!

Picturesque”
I really had a great time at this place. Looking out towards the valley of the kings and on the banks of the Nile, this hotel is located in a beautiful place.
Food was great and the room was nice. Only problem I had was my TV wasn't working and I rang the reception three times to get it fixed.
All in all I would definitely go again, even if it's a weekend to relax.

Exceptional”
It is just a beautiful setting on an island in the middle of the Ancient city of Luxor. They have used the island well with low rise buildings looking out towards the Valley of the Kings.
The only con was that my fridge/aircon/tv wasn't working and I had to ring 3x to get it fixed.
We were here to see the sights but I would definitely come here just to relax. Great place to eat good food, swim and take your mind off things.

Deluxe Room for the Egyptian Marathon”
I had an enjoyable 8-night stay in a Deluxe Room while in Luxor for the Egyptian Marathon. The complex was more like a resort than a hotel. If you just want to relax and not do any sightseeing, this place would be ideal.
My room was quite spacious and had a safe and a mini-fridge. TV had CNN and BBC. Robes and slippers were provided. Bathroom had a dual sink, toilet, and bidet with a combination bathtub and shower.
My building was across from the excellent fitness centre. There are also three outdoor swimming pools onsite but unfortunately only one is heated. There is a beach volleyball court and tennis courts on site. For the kids, there is the Children’s Zoo. Next to the front desk, there is an ATM and a gift shop that also sells various snack foods.
Good buffet breakfasts and dinners are served at the Jolie Ville Restaurant. Breakfast was part of the room package and a buffet dinner was only 115 EGP. Food options were quite good for the buffets. Drinks during dinner were extra. There were two other restaurants on site but I didn’t have a chance to try them.
I found the staff to be friendly and I had no problem communication in English with them.
For me, there were only two two negatives. One was that the free wifi was slow and intermittent. The other was that the place was a bit isolated and not within walking distance of any sites.

Just okay”
The hotel is a huge place and has two great swimming pool. The room is of good size except it has a funny odor that permeates strongly in the room. Location wise, it is great. The food service is a bit slow. Ordering by the pool lacks speed and attetiveness. This could be a beautiful place specially for children

Relaxing”
The place is huge and has 3 swimming pools. The one with a cascade was truly nice for the kids but when it is crowded, the noise mixing with the cascade is a bit disturbing. I prefer more the horizon pool when the cascade is off, so quiet and relaxing. The drawback is when you order foods from the swimming pool, it takes an hour for them to serve it; When you have kids, it is a bit an incovenience, same with the ZIGOLINI restaurant. You have to order a bit in advance but the foods are great. Overall it is worth it.

One of the best stays”
Location, Staff, Amenities
It's a unique experience. The view is amazing and it's quite cool how the hotel is on its own island. The hotel's amenities are also great, such as the ifinity pool, the zoo and many more. The staff are also very friendly and helpful, I feel they follow the 'customers are always right' policy. Definitely a worth while trip to be remembered.

For the price, great value ”
Island, room, restaurant staff
I had a pleasant stay, but sadly the relaxing pool was being cleaned. I started with the infinity pool instead, but an intrusive and inappropriate member of the recreation staff meant I was forced to the horizon pool.
This was slimy under foot in places, and when a member of staff said, "clean, yes?", I responded that, in fact, it was not. He then proceeded to sulk and ostentatiously turned away from me whenever he then saw me.
Bar service was virtually non-existent: despite having ordered water and juice, (so clearly a customer) I waited for a member of staff for over an hour around lunchtime, to try to order more water. It was only when I gave up- at 1.30 pm in the 44 degree heat, that a lifeguard cane running - to ensure I paid for my drinks. This took some 20 minutes and multiple phone calls to arrange. I had intended, as I explained, to pay in the bar, where I was going in search of water. Given the staff knew who I was, and my room number, this was rather daft. Previously, when I d been unable to find a staff member for a bill, someone had simply turned up to my room later so I could sign.
This stay was totally unlike my previous stays this summer, and was, frankly, ruined by the importunate member of staff at the infinity pool. Not all female solo travellers are sex tourists, and it is totally inappropriate for staff to treat us as such.
A huge shame, as this was such an unpleasant and uncomfortable experience it totally overshadowed what had been a previously excellent experience. Ali, Saleh, Okasha, Ahmed and Hassan at the relaxing pool are outstanding. Likewise, Walid and Mohammed at breakfast, and Hassan at dinner.
Issa and Goma couldn't have been more helpful and kind, and Meriam, Amer, Ahmed, Amr, Ahmed 2 and the other front desk staff are similarly outstanding. This is a lovely location, with many delightful staff, but it will take a while to put the unpleasantness behind me and return.
