Great Airport Hotel”
I stayed at the Mariya Boutique Residence Hotel on my way out of Burma and down to Phuket. It is located near the Suvarnabhumi International Airport and has a shuttle for pickup and return for flights. The hotel has very comfortable rooms, good clean bathroom and is basically an ideal airport hotel. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast was good. I will definitely stay there again if I need a hotel between flights to Suvarnabhumi Airport.
Mariya Boutique Residence”
We recently stayed at the Mariya Boutique Residence on the reviews written by other travellers. These were accurate, the beds very comfortable and the rooms exceptionally clean. We were picked up from the airport by hotel staff on time and at the hotel in 10 minutes. The receptionist welcomed us and invited us to have coffee available 24hrs. Complimentary fruit and juice were in our room. We used the hotel car to be taken to the airport early the next morning. We used the free computer and internet. There are no shops handy but they are quite happy to go out and get dinner for you, even Kentucky Fried. Nothing is too much trouble.
Good location, and kind staff”
Mariya Boutique Residence think I found a hotel near the airport and the last day of the week. Informal Noh play is the arrival at the airport late at night, yet the hotel is also not insert any contact, whether there was a worry really shuttle to the hotel, you can safely check and discovered the car happened at the airport prior to departure transfers able. Staff are friendly, we could have our drinks and snacks. The rooms are bright, clean windows, small bedside also visible at the airport at night, Just an amazing stay at this lovely hotel on the last day, was let go home you feel even more. If you request one, if this much-grade hotels, and I say good point, even bathtubs. (It may be luxury). This time I will just have to sleep right hotel, the hotel you want to use us again.
We have stayed at Mariya Boutique Residence many time on transit through Bangkok. It is a perfect way to break journeys too and from Europe as Slow Travellers. The hotel shuttle from the airport has us at the hotel quickly and smoothly, we drop our bags and head out to one of the many local restaurants for a delicious Thai meal before a shower and a sleep in the cool comfortable room. The staff are always welcoming and the service is excellent. there are also room service meals and drinks available if you don't want to venture out, and a 7-11 store next door for anything else you need.
Mariya Boutique Residence - a Great Stop Over”
I had mixed feelings about the Mariya Boutique Residence. The staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. The lobby and the rooms were lovely but the corridors where semi-outdoors and not as clean as the rest of the hotel. I used this property for an overnight stop on the way back to the UK. Room service isn't my thing so I tried the restaurant next door which was a real local affair. The food was good and they were very nice to me. Early in the morning I went to catch my car to the airport (they provide free airport transport in one direction to all guests) and was 15 minutes early going down. Instead of asking me to wait they paid for a cab which was very impressive indeed. I was also impressed by the buffet of fruit and cookies, coffee, tea and cold drinks that was available 24/7. Breakfast was available at 5:30am!!
Great stopover hotel with very friendly staff”
We were looking for a clean and comfortable hotel, close to the airport, with airport transfers included for a reasonable price. The Mariya Boutique Residence fit all our criteria. They provided us with a hassle free 1 night stopover. Rooms were clean, comfortable, quiet, air conditioned, with fridge, tea/coffee facilities, hot water shower, and breakfast included. The staff were very friendly and very flexible with our checkout time, they allowed us stay until our afternoon flight time without any debate.
Lovely hotel and service with a smile”
The Mariya Boutique Residence is a fairly typical small Thai hotel, no elevator so you'll be walking up either one floor or two. The rooms are very comfortable for an overnight stay; newly renovated at a guess; shower, microwave oven, flat screen television with English language cable stations available. There is some food available in the dining alcove. The nearest public transport option to central; Bangkok is the local Airport Link station - about 65 baht in a taxi each way, and plenty of taxis when you come back although I did have to wait for a driver who knew the hotel, even though I had taken the precaution of taking a hotel address card with me (essential!!). Although the hotel is almost directly under the flight path I heard nothing in my room from aircraft overhead.
Great stopover, clean and convenient”
We were quite pleased with our choice of Mariya Boutique Residence for our overnight awaiting our next-day flight. We found the meeting place at the airport easily and the free transport was there very soon thereafter for our short (less than 15 minute) ride to the hotel. The hotel receptionist was very warm and friendly and very helpful. She arranged a wake-up call for us as well as transport back to the airport in the morning. The room was clean and comfortable; just what we needed after a long day of travel from Canada. We didn't take advantage of the buffet breakfast as we had to get away but it looked good. We did have complimentary coffee (excellent) and biscuits.
Cheap and Close to the Airport”
the mariya boutique residence was conveniently located just a short 5 minute drive away from the airport, with hotel staff in the airport arrival area to provide free transport to the hotel. the rooms were spacious and clean, with especially large bathrooms. the desk concierge was polite and helpful, and the early morning wake-up call was right on time. a good deal for overnight flights and short stays when proximity to the airport is a must.
Nice boutique Hotel near to BKK Airport”
the mariya boutique residence is a nice hotel with 36 rooms near to the bangkok international airport. a free one-way airport transfer is included in the room booking. a small snack area with coffe or tee for free 24 hours in the lobby. the staff is very friendly and competent. the rooms in the thai specific boutique style are very clean, silent and with confortable beds.
Better than expected”
I was very happy with my stay at the Mariya Boutique Residence. I found the decor very pleasing, the staff efficient, and the overall condition of the building and rooms better than your usual airport hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a reasonably priced place to spend the night when traveling in or out of Bangkok.
Perfect for stopover”
miraya arrived suvarnabhumi approx 10:30 pm. after some confusion, more on our own part, we met the driver. less than 10 minute transfer to mariya via mini-bus. check-in was quick. no lifts there (very common in small hotels in thailand), but gentleman from desk took our bags upstairs. our room was very clean and neat. twin beds. small enclosed balcony for me to have a cigarette. mini-bar good, and a few things, like noodles, free. nice for late-comers. shower excellent. good buffet style breakfast in morning, coffee great. our transfer back to suvarnabhumi next morning on-time. i would not recommend the mariya for those wanting to stay in bangkok for extended stay - too far from there to city. for those wanting an overnight stay close to airport? perfect! staff polite, courteous and helpful.
Perfect transit hotel”
If you want the Ibis, stay there. If you want something civilised and functional, stay here. Pro’s. A five minute drive from the airport via the complimentary hotel shuttle, both ways, the Mariya Boutique was perfect for a short overnight stay before connecting with another flight. The bed was comfortable, black-out curtain kept the room dark, everything worked and was clean. There’s a 7/11 within 20m and street food vendors nearby. The breakfast looked perfectly satisfactory but had no time to partake. The staff were very polite and helpful, expediting a quick check-in at 1am. A very thoughtful touch was having the a/c cooling in the room prior to arrival. For a hotel like the Mariya, in Thailand, a touch like this is unheard of. Cons. No lift; for some this could be an issue but for this 61yr old, I got up and down the stairs unscathed. Summary. For its age, this hotel is clearly loved. Hard to beat at this price; will happily return.
The ideal stopover, and service par excellence!”
We greatly enjoyed our stay at the Mariya Residence. At Suvarnabhumi, we easily found the hotel agent, who had our very modern courtesy vehicle on hand in a very short while. A short ride and we were at our hotel, and greeted warmly at the Front Desk. We were invited to help ourselves to tea/coffee, cookies and fruit, "on tap' in the foyer. Our room was bright, spacious and clean, and had a little balcony. The a/c worked efficiently. In the morning an adequate breakfast awaited us, and friendly Front Desk, Bacon, organised our courtesy vehicle to be on time to catch the Airport Shuttle between Survarnabhumi and Don Maung Airports. Local knowledge proved to be a great thing! In all, the hotel met our every expectation!
Convenient Airport Hotel, good for early flights!”
i only stayed in this hotel for the one night for my transit flight. i arrived late at night to bangkok (1130pm) and my flight out was in the next morning (8am). so i didn't really have a lot of time to judge the quality of the hotel. here are my findings: pros: close to airport, free shuttle bus, free and fast wi-fi. cons: you need to know which waiting area to go to right after you come out to the arrival hall. i think it was #4. the shuttle bus is around there but i had to keep asking staff from other hotels to find the guy for mariya boutique residence. i'm sure the mariya boutique guy was supposed to wait for me at the arrival hall and i may have come out too fast (as i collected my checked-in luggage very quickly). not necessarily his fault. also, there was no breakfast for me in the morning because i had to leave for my flight at 5:45am to get to the airport by 6am in order to catch my 8am flight. breakfast hours start at 645am apparently. so it was a shame because my room rate included breakfast. too bad. if i had known that, i would have opted for the room rate without breakfast. not a big difference but it would have been nice. hope this is helpful.
Perfectly adequate layover hotel”
we needed a decent place for a night layover in bangkok, and mariya was great for just that. nice staff, clean rooms, transfer service at any hour (we had to be at the airport at 4:30am ... ugh). the neighborhood around mariya is actually pretty decent with lots of bars and decent food options (even though you will find none it listed on trip advisor). the pub immediately next to mariya actually has surprisingly good thai food. the snacks provided in the hotel lobby were a nice touch. this hotel is not recommended for those that wish to visit downtown bangkok or around. there really isn't any convenient public transportation from mariya. if you want to spend a few days in bangkok, stay near a skytrain or metro stop or on the river.
great choice for an airport hotel”
I really enjoyed staying at mariya boutique for an airport hotel experience. After the super unhelpful/disorganized reception i got the night before, it was so refreshing to be greeted by front desk staff that was knowledgeable, helpful and super on top of it. I was upgraded to a nicer room and had a sitting area, big bed, kitchenette, balcony and bathroom all to myself. The area surrounding the hotel is actually kind of fun to walk around as well. Lots of little street side food places lit up with lights, some houses out over a canal, a temple nearby etc. It was a nice introduction to the more residential outskirts of Bangkok. I would definitely go back here for a quick night before flying out.
Clean, great for Bangkok stopover”
Had no problems with Mariya Boutique Residence. It was good to be able to check out late-ish (12pm), and to have a round-trip airport transfer included in the price for the room, and they have luggage storage facilities if you don't need to leave until late (I didn't need to be at the airport until 6pm). Well priced as well for the standard of room, friendly staff. Breakfast was nice. I really don't have anything bad to say about this hotel
Great Hotel for short visit”
Length of stay: Dec 24th – 25th, 2012. Size of room and cleanness: Appropriate size room and excellent cleanness. Swimming pool: We didn’t explore the swimming pool. Breakfast: Combine between American breakfast and Thai food. It was tasty and fresh. Facilities: Everything is good and new. Strength (selling point): This hotel near Suvarnabhumi airport it’s convenient for people who would like to stay in the good condition hotel near the airport and they also provide for shuttle service to Suvarnabhumi airport. You can also book through Agoda for including shuttle service. The bed was so comfortable. The bathroom was very clean and good condition. The staff spoke excellent English with American accent (receptionist). Weakness: It’s not appropriate for traveler who would like to stay close to downtown city within walking distance to Department store or sky train (BTS) or subway (MRT) in Bangkok because this hotel located at suburb of Bangkok but if you wish to travel to downtown of Bangkok, the easiest way is take a taxi from the hotel to airport link at “Lad-kra-bang station” then get off at “Pha-ya-thai station” then you can move around the downtown of Bangkok. This hotel have fifth floors and they don't have elevator so, you need to walk up - down stairs and their stairs quite narrow.
handy to airport but very small rooms”
the mariya boutique residence was close to the airport but had to wait a while to be picked up. our room was very small but nicely renovated, shower good but no lift to service the floors which would be no good to older travellers. the breakfast was excellent and free tea, coffee and fruit were available all day.
