Great location, Clean & surrounded by eateries”
The location is fantastic as Westminster Bridge takes you to the Abbey and Buckingham Palace in less than half hour walk thru beautiful streets and parks. Plenty of eateries, supermkt, bus stops & amenities within 5 mins. Our family rm of 3 adults were well set up with a kitchenette stocked with most things u need. Bathroom came w/ L'Occitane products, plenty of towels and shower was good & strong. Room was clean with enough room to lay out 2 large luggages and two carry ons on tabletops and chairs/side tables. Has elevator that worked well for those w/ mobility issues and/or lots of bags. Thermostat was a little iffy & did not come w/ dish soap (small matter). Overall, extremely satisfied Will definitely consider this place the next we come!

Check in and check out is quick and easy. We arrived 4 hours early and the hotel has a luggage room where you can keep your things while touring around London until the room is ready. We booked the Classic Room and we were given a room on the 5th floor with the view of Westminster Bridge Road. The area is safe and quiet with a nearby subway station (Lambeth North a 2 min walk from the hotel), Waterloo train station and bus stops around. A very convenient area surrounded by everything you need like Sainsbury, coffee shops like Costa, Pret a Manger and restaurants. It’s only 10min walk to the London Eye, Westminster Abbey, Parliament Square and Elizabeth Clock Tower. Also a walking distance to most of London’s tourist spot. We literally walked to Trafalgar Square, Leicester Square, St. Paul’s Cathedral, Tower of London and Tower Bridge. The hotel’s common areas and our room is clean and in order. We also have a mini kitchen with the basic cookware and utensils. Generally, we had a comfortable stay and the staffs were all friendly. The only downside is that there is no drinking water in the room. To be fair, I should have checked from the reception if they can provide this but I opted to buy from Sainsbury as it’s just beside the hotel anyway. I will definitely consider staying in Marlin Waterloo again on our next London adventure.

The positives: location is convenient for visiting most tourist sites; facility is OK; the rooms with kitchenette could be convenient; suites could be good for families. The negatives: The shower didn't have a door, and the water could splash in the bathroom. The cleaning happened every two days, which is probably OK for most travelers. The worst part: Despite the hotel advertising "luggage storage" service, they did not allow us to store our luggage when we had a short trip to Edinburgh for two nights and then returned to their hotel for three more nights. Luckily we had a friend in UK and put our luggage there. The staff wasn't nice when we talked to them about luggage storage. The staff said they don't store any luggage overnight. As a frequent traveler, I never heard this absurd thing at any hotel. Travelers should be cautious. The hotel charged 30 pounds for early check-in at noon, which seems inappropriately high. The breakfast didn't look that good, so we used the breakfast place downstairs.

This is now my "Go To" HOtel in London. It has everyt8ing i need and is consistent on delivery and process each and everytime meaning no surprises. The locatioin is right opposite Lambeth North Tube and just a 5 min walk to Waterloo TRain staion meaning i can get all over London in just a single day of work. Accomodation is clean and fresh everytime and room sizesw are generous, bright a spacious. A great place to stay

I booked this hotel mostly because the room is relatively big in London (just normal everywhere else). The room was clean, but very standard. Nothing good, nothing bad, just standard. Could use some renovation for sure. The location is convenient but the neighborhood is not super great. Don't get me wrong, it is safe but not super well kept, just think a hipster that type of place. The staff at front desk was friendly and helpful.
