We enjoyed our stay... This stretch of beach looks PICTURES PERFECT... however no soft sand!!! Broken shells, coral & rocks ... Low tide is best for family with children... Staff was very helpful Restaurant food was GQQD! rooms are comfortable however linen & towels could be updated ! Staff very accommodating but requires a bit of direction & communication Would return and refer family & friends

Good location, good beach, we had a decent room with beach view
Besides, the sanotary facilities worked flawlessly, somethig that can't be taken for granted on a remote Philippines island.

Family getaway
Very nice beach. Plenty of restaurants nearby. We ate at Marlins restaurant and the food was excellent. However just walking distance you can try other places and some local bars. Best of all it was not crowded like many other beaches.

Very Good
The hotel is a bit pricey. The room is big but the beds and pillows needs to be upgraded. The television should be placed back again. Beachfront is good. Just let them provide beach towels. Their staffs are very good and always smiling. That's the plus factor in their hotel.

Very nice
Good service: staff was very friendly, helpful and kind. Good location: close to bars and restaurants. Good restaurant: food was good and not too expensive. Room was just fine, no TV, AC very noisy, but I had an amazing ocean view. And what a beach !!!! AMAZING !

Awesome location, helpful staff, lovely stay!
We were spending CNY and we found what we looked for. Laid back resort, with the perfect location by a paradise beach. Staff was always helpful and the service and food is very good. We stayed on a seaview room, so from sitting in our balcony we could see the beach and sunrise and hear the waves at night from the bed. Spectacular. Bantayan island is great to explore, people is nice and even though there are not many touristic sightseeing places, you can sit anywhere, have a coffee or a beer and get nice smiles from locals and some opportunities to chat. We did some running by the beach and windsurfing at the resort. We will be back.

Remindes me more of a Motel than a Hotel
Location and friendly staff
Expensive rooms wich reminded me more of a Motel than a Hotel. Moist and outdated room that smelled of mold. We were travelling 3 coupels together and we had 2 beach view rooms an one garden view room. The cheaper garden view room was the best room but had no refrigirator. It was possible to rent a refrigirator for 150 pesos pr/night. Breakfast is ok with bread, eggs of any choise, pancakes and some hot diches.

Pleasant three-star
Good service, good drinks, nice beach
When we got to Marlin's as two couples, they had actually overlooked our booking and our rooms weren't available the first night of our three night stay. They paid for us to stay elsewhere, and when we came back we had a free dinner and free island tour, and they upgraded our rooms. We felt like they more than made up for the error. The lesson is to call and confirm if you book through Agoda!

Nice beach
beach, beach, beach
Since the resort was fully booked, we had to take two beachview rooms. We think that they were very pricey with almost 5000 peso each per day. Anyway, we enjoyed our stay a lot at Marlins. The breakfast and the food is average, but the staff is friendly and the beach is fantastic. But also i have to report an absolute no go.. When we left our rooms for the check-out, i told my wife to leave some coins to the cleaning woman. My wife told me, that she needs the coins and that she will put a general tip at the frontdesk. Unfortunately the cleaning woman heared that and didn`t agree with it. When we were at the check-out counter she showed them one of our towels. One of them was a bit dirty because of the swim-wear of my wife. They told us to pay 1500 Peso for that old towel. Really, it was not very hard to remove this dirt on it, but the cleaning woman wants to take her "revenge". I told them that after 3 nights we consumed and paid already a lot and that they shouldn`t be complicated because of this. Also it`s a joke to ask for 1500 Peso for an old towel. After i told them that i am not going to pay this amount, they deducted the price twice. Once to 1200 Peso, then 500 Peso. Since, we had to leave for the boat i paid 500 Peso. Looked like someone tried to make some special money. I guess the owner doesn`t know about those practics. This experience ruined a bit our stay there.
