The tour, the olive oil tasting, the staff.
Booked a two bedroom apartment, it stated it was split level. It was a flat upstairs consisting of a sparse living room, en-suite with a shower that had no hot water and a bedroom. To get downstairs you had to go outside and enter through a different door, the living room sofa had been removed to put a bed there and the kitchen was here too. The property was next to a very loud factory as it is in an industrial area, that was open day and night, maybe less disruptive if you were in an apartment further back on the property. couldn’t sit outside and read due to the factory noise. pool was dirty on the bottom, slimy so we didn’t use it. the door upstairs and downstairs that used to be linked to the apartment next door had just been botched boarded up so noise travelled through easily.

Incredibly beautiful property steeped in history and charm! The staff were so helpful and friendly and passionate about the produce! We especially enjoyed the wine tasting with David and the olive oil tour of the masseria with Rosie! It was such a spiritual experience staying here. The perfect end to our honeymoon.
Wish we had stayed longer and wish we had bought more oil.

Everything was beautiful. The Masseria is a beautifully restored old building with a beautiful garden and relaxing pool area. our apartment was huge and very sensitively restored which had a wrap around terrace and was beautiful. we are in the restaurant and the food was very good and also did a wine tasting which was most enjoyable

Very charming but needs better maintenance”

The place is absolutely beautiful and the staff is super nice. The restaurant is wonderful, you have many local people coming just to eat there. The whole property has a lot of charm and you feel like you’re in heaven. We had a very spacious apartment with beautiful sea view.
We were disappointed by a few things: - The bathrooms need some serious renovation. As we stayed 5 nights it was for us the main issue. - For the 5 nights we stayed, our room / bathrooms were not cleaned even once, or bath towels changed - The breakfast is very disappointing for 15 euros per person, we took it the first morning and quickly decided to take it in the apartment for the rest of the stay (it’s good there is a kitchen in the apartment) - The pool is quite small and not a real pool built in the ground Overall because of these we think the price is a bit high for what we get.

Authentic masseria in central location”

Beautiful old masseria with very nice grounds and an authentic feel to it. Nice gardens and pool area. Plenty of space in the large main appartment. Close to Monopoli and Poliano.
Not something we did not like, but to be aware: the appartments are in an old house, hence no modern comfort but it adds to its charme. We stayed in July when it was very hot, but I could imagine that the lack of light in the main appartment can be a minus outside high season. The masseria is charming, but located right in an industrial with sometimes unpleasant smell.

Beautiful and romantic masseria near Monopoli”

It is in a very beautiful fortified fortress from 15th century. Very beautiful and well decorated. It is used as a wedding venue and event venue as well. Room size is pretty big, and you can find almost everything. The girls working there are very welcoming and cheerful. In general, it's a pleasant stay.

Large, cozy and beautiful apartment with a lovely garden. Apartment had pretty much everything you could need from an iron to a washing machine. Friendly staff and excellent hospitality, gave us a lot of tips and recommendations. Clean swimming pool and facilities. Beautiful location and architecture, pictures don’t do it justice enough.
Nothings wrong with the property but if you intend to explore Puglia you’ll definitely need a car!

We loved the property, the staff were excellent and we would definitely stay again.”

The location was very good, on the outskirts of Monopoli. The property was clean and very comfortable, it had been very sympathetically renovated whilst retaining its strong historical origins, a home from home! The balcony was a very pleasant surprise with doors leading from the bedrooms and the kitchen, all overlooking the gardens with the sea in the background.
We felt that the breakfast was a little over-priced.

This place is simply amazing. First of all, it breaths history. When you arrive and see the facade of the main building it gives you a feeling of authenticity, tradition and love for the culture. Really impressive. On the land you will find very old olive trees, lemon trees and historical remainings. We did the guided tour by Mirella (perfectly in English) and learned a lot about the history which goes back to the Middle Ages. The apartment was very comfortable and clean. There is an airconditioning in every room. Our apartment had all the needed amenities like a kitchen, dish washer, fridge etc. Besides that we liked the interior a lot! Every day we had the breakfast in the morning which was very tasteful. What stands out for us, is the personal and friendly communication with the staff (thanks Mirella and Rosy!). They are natural talents, as a quest we felt very welcome. Last but not least, the olive and wine tasting is recommended! Pure and local products are being made on the site with respect for the culture and tradition. Marco did an amazing job on explaining the quality of the wines and it’s origin. Without a doubt, an incredible experience of the gastronomical products of Puglia. Just wow! We’d love to come back anytime.

A place to remember”

This place is really an exceptional one, very different from all those modern hotel rooms. Our room of unbelievable 120 metres had a huge terrace on top. The apartent itself is not modern, but is stylish and definitely has everything that one needs for the stay, even the dishwasher and washing mashine, grill at the terrace atc. Everything was really clean. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly.
