Mataram hotels & places to stay

The facilities all same as advertised. I like that each room is provided with outdoor dustbin and laundry hanging rack. Water is super cold as what other reviewers say but not a problem to me as i like it cold than hot. The staff helped me on how to get around and they were super friendly. The breakfast was great. The only discomfort that i had is the bed was kinda dusty. So i sneezed a lot for the first night. The place is very near with convenience stores and street food stalls so easy to get food or snacks. I certainly will come back again for this place when i go to lombok.

We chose this Homestay only as a transit point. And that's exactly what it was. The good thing is there is plenty of street food options around. The sheets were once used, the room was dark, the shower mouldy. Receptionist was friendly and took us to the airport (for the price of 150000 IDR), but we couldn't understand why we had to wait for the check-in time and sit in the lobby for 2 hours although the hotel was empty and rooms prepaired. The breakfast was a joke, so don't take it as a leverage. It was OK, but would look for other options next time.

cant complain with the amount paid, will not recommend if you would like to stay for more than 1 day especially for family with young children. the room is very small, the front desk staff (lady) was not able to communicate in english, because when i asked her about the breakfast preparation for the next day, she told me it was not included in my booking (despite i knew it was stated in my booking), so i was just fine with it. the 1st room we went it was very smelly, and the air cond was not well functioned, including the toilet suction fan was very noisy. So we decided to ask them to change the room for us. The guy was very helpful as compared to the front desk lady . Overall, if you just want to do a short stay, you can consider this hotel, else, i would recommend to pay slightly higher to get a better and comfortable hotel.

Rooms were well appointed - usefully placed power outlets, hanging space with ample hangers, shower with hot water, toilet, basin with plug, TV, lots of shelf and bench space and AC. Beds are clean and comfy, laundry service is quick and cheap. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the location is superb - across the road from Mataram Mall and the panci sari bus office. There's also a 24 hour Cafe next door and an Alfamart on the corner, as well as loads of local warungs. Only a short walk to Gramedia, a post office and Pura Meru temple. Taxis are easy to come by, and the street is very quiet. Worth every cent - a great place to stay.

We stay for a night before our Rinjani trekking trip the next day. It was pleasant. Pro: 1. Location- walking distances to all major tourist spots in Cakra & Mataram (eg. Mayura Park, Pura Meru, central market of Cakra, Mataram mall). Plenty food/ dining options nearby. Plenty street food vendors along the main road that are operational til late night (some til the morning). 2. Slightly off the main road - less noise from the buzzing busy road traffic during daytime. 3. Hotel - Room is clean, new, comfortable. Lift available. Cons: 1. Perhaps the wifi speed and connection could be better. 2. My local taxi driver didn't even know the existence of this hotel(perhaps new). Mistaken it for Mataram Hotel(close to Mataram mall) instead. :)

What you think of the place really depends on your expectations. The room was a nice size, not big but not small or cramped either. The bed was comfortable, and a towel was provided. The location is very hard to find. There aren't any signs, and it's in a residential neighbourhood so I had to ask some local residents if they knew where it was and one kind girl showed me, otherwise I would not have found it. The Google Maps location if you open it from Agoda is wrong, so Agoda needs to update their information for this place. I was on a scooter. If you don't have a scooter the location wouldn't be great, but if you do, it's not far from everything in town. The host, Ilham, was very accommodating and friendly. He provided a lot of information about the town/island. With a few small improvements, this place could be a gem for its price range. It wasn't a dealbreaker that there was no wifi, but for some people it might be. There wasn't any hot water. When the construction is finished I think it's going to look great, and it'll definitely stand out from the other homes around it.q

So far, this hotel is the best value for money for me. The location is near mataram mall and some of the best and cheap pearl art shop, also near cakra traditional market. Practically in walking distance to everywhere. You can even place a call for KFC and Pizzahut delivery order from hotel. The staff also very friendly. The food also ok. Bedroom ok. Bathroom is a little small for my taste. Overall it was a nice experience

This hotel located at the heart of Mataram city, the city centre is only walking distance from this hotel. The room size is quite roomy, I believe it is good size for family with 1 kid. The staffs are all good, you can ask them what ever info you are looking for and they will arrange for you if you need them to do. Don't forget to try the SPA at your room convenience. During my stay, it is Ramadhan time, and I can request my breakfast converted into sahur meal in the dawn time. The food was nice even though not so many variety. I believe I will come back to this hotel again, whenever I need to go to Mataram city ever again.

Although staying in Mataram isn't the greatest idea for travelleres since there's nothing to see or do there, our stay at the Fizz made it bearable. The staff is really nice, the rooms are clean and there's an Indomaret directly beside the hotel. With a scooter it's ca. 30 - 40 minutes to Senggigi and about an hour to Kuta and the incredible beaches there! If you have to stay in Mataram for visa purposes or such, the Fizz is a great place to stay!

We booked a room without breakfast so it's was cheaper (breakfast 50000rp for 2p). The room was really clean with mini fridge,you have soap,toothbrush,toothpaste and towel. The wifi some times stop in the room but it wasn't a problem, and if you want there is another one at the entry. The staff was really helpful and friendly. There are some street food and restaurants, bakery around.

Arrived in Lombok on the 31st July in the evening after a very long flight from England. I was welcomed by Yukie who showed myself and my boyfriend to a spacious room in front of the swimming pool. Very cool A/C room, large bathroom and clean. Tranquil environment inside and out. Breakfast was tasty. Rented motorcylce for decent price the next day. We asked if we could book the same room for a second night but unfortunatley it was booked- without any hastle Yukie and her husband kindly invited us to sleep in their main house in one of the rooms they had inside. The room was equally comfortable and cool and we had use of their bathroom. So kind of them! It was my birthday that evening and I had local friends over to visit and sit outside the house for drinks- this also was no problem. Beautiful family beautiful place, will stay again.

This is a basic (and small-scale) homestay situated in Mataram. The rooms are looking a little old and in need of some renovation. Breakfast was very simple, just a cup of tea and two slices of toast, which I felt was inadequate as a complete meal. I was able to charter the homestay's car to go to Senaru, with the owner's son as the driver-cum-guide. I think the owners only recently got their hotel listed on Agoda, as they were a bit surprised that I have already paid for my room through Agoda when I arrived. In general, the homestay is passable for the low price it charges.

I wasn't expecting much when i book this hotel. But when i arrived at this hotel i was pleased that this hotel is a very good hotel. The hotel is new and clean. Hotel room is a little bit small and it is good for 2 person. Wifi connection is awesome. Friendly staff and nice decoration. Only 4-5mins walk to mataram mall. Overall i am really satisfied with this hotel. It is recommended to all.

It's situated in a residential area, not far from the main street. Lovely hotel with beautiful garden. The staff is extremely well mannered and smiley. The room and bathroom are very clean. The air conditioned room comes with a TV, a kettle and cups, drinking water and a wall hook. Coffee table and chairs are outside the room. Wifi is good. We booked the room thinking that it excluded breakfast but surprisingly it was included! Simple breakfast but tasty (fried noodles/packed rice/sandwiches plus coffee/tea). Just 5-10 minute walk to Mataram Mall, convenience store and shops & restaurants on the main road. An ideal hotel for budget travel.

The hotel is very nice, probably the best one in Mataram. It has a nice pool and bars, even roof-top (important if you like to sip a beer or cocktail - as the surrounding shops do not sell any alcohol :-( ). The personnell is very kind and helpful. Especially I like to name Andi from the reception! I had to book same trip to Bali, and he was very helpful in it. Almost like a travel agency he found both some driver and a speedboat ticket to Bali. The hotel is also near to the old mall, and not too far from the new mall in Mataram. Unless you have to do some business in Mataram I would not recommend to book there. It takes about 30 minutes to the airport, one hour to Sissy beach in the West (is the name correct?), 1,5 hours to the North of Lombok, and about 2 hours to Kuta. You don't want to waste your valuable holiday time sitting in taxis!
