Excellent place”
Everything 5-star except 3pm checkin. Half the day is gone by the time you check in. But they managed to get me in an hour earlier. But to have to run around Budapest for half a day when train or flight arrives in the morning kills the mood. Employ more cleaning staff, speed up the turn around and move people around to check people in earlier. Just a personal note, everything else absolute 5 stars.

Great place to stay ”
I stayed for 1 night. The place is located in the city centre, very accessible. The staff is super nice, especially Lila is very helpful and friendly :) The room is very spacious and warm, which is super important in the winter. The Internet works without any issues, but who needs WiFi when there is so much to see around in Budapest ? Just little suggestion, curtains could help next to the bed and few more kitchen stuff. Anyway, I highly recommend you this hostel!!

Very close to metro station bus stop and food mart also clean bathroom & kitchen. I really have a good time when stay there. The staff there so nice there. I would stay again if visit Budapest.

Beautiful building ”
The place's location is amazing. In front of a bus station and next to a metro. Down the road there is a Lidl and lots of restaurants. Bed and bathroom were really clean and with a nice view from the city :)

we stay in the room for 4 people, and can see the beautiful streets of Budapest from 2 sides of room. The staffs are very nice. The location is very good when the bus stop is in in front of hostel andThe Lidl supermarket is next to hostel. One more thing is the hostel is not too far from Danube river, so that It is easy to enjoy this amazing scenery

This may be one of the best hostel I have stayed. The biulding is ammazing, and the location is good. The staff is really nice and helpful. The bed and toilet are clean. Only one thing can be improved is the hostel a little bit not easy to find.

Great base to visit the city”
Fantastic location and excellent connections to travel around the city. Nice rooms, new bathroom and clean place. Communal facilities are also good. Staff are very helpful and organise small events for the guests. Will use again! Only 2 small drawbacks that can be overcome by future guests (and possibly fixed/look into by the ownership?): -The rooms have very little in terms of soundproofing; echoing door-slamming noises (iron gates at every floor!) from the hallway and "courtyard" can keep a heavy sleepers awake, so bring earplugs. -Carpet. In a room used by hundreds. No. It can't be kept clean with all the good will in the world! Use slippers.

Great location, close to bus and metro stations. The staffs are friendly and helpful and they can help you book taxi if you need to catch an early flight. The bed sheet could have been cleaner.

Maverick Hostel is cool! Staff is 110% fluent in English, young and very willing to help you as well as it's possible and answer all questions. In kitchen i found tea set and common fridge. People are so friendly and it's great opportunity to make new friends. Beds are comfy, hostel is quiet clean ( could be better) IT IS SO COLD. Radiators are broken, just like windows. I couldn't take off my hoodie or jacket cause I'd get cold. Especially in bathrooms

we loved our stay at Maverick hostel ,the staff are so welcoming, friendly and helpful, we arrived early and they let us check in early, and there was a shared kitchen that was a plus, the hostel is in a great location, wifi is good also, house keeping is only by request.

Love budget hostel accommodation. Our unit had kitchen and en-suite bathroom. Staff were wonderful. All housed on a beautiful historic building!. This was our third stay here. Would recommend.

Good hostel”
It was located in front of the station, but I use Astoria which is 5 minutes away from the hostel since it was more convenient to go to main attraction. The safety of the hostel was really nice because of the locking system. Receptionist was kind and nice. You can use coffee pot and tea pot anytime. Room was separately located in another stair. it was cozy and convenient especially the living room were private for people who use each stair. The only disadvantage of the hostel is the lack of air conditioning system.
