Mawson Lakes Hotel
Central Business District
Perfect in every way”
Location is great. If you like jogging/walking, there’s the beautiful Lake. Many restaurants close by including great food at the Hotel. Staff are so friendly and accommodating. The rooms are spacious and have everything you need including a microwave. We always stay here when we come to Adelaide.
Great value ”
Staff, rooms and meals are amazing I wouldn’t stay anywhere else Highly recommended
Nice hotel with big living hall & room. It has all the amenities to wash the clothes & cook. The room is cleaned and spacious. Highly Recommended.
Too expensive and far too big for just a one night stay - totally unnecessary for me
Great value ”
Every month I stay at Mawson Lakes rooms are great value with all amenities that u need clean comfortable beds very helpful staff great meals at nite and buffet breakfast highly recommended
The rooms are amazing highly recommend the hotel restaurant
One of the best hotels in Adelaide. Safe, secure parking, studio apartments with 2 bedrooms, one big bathroom, high speed wifi and spacious rooms. Great price. Would definitely stay here again.
We had a great stay, the rooms were clean and plenty of space for what we needed. The only downside is we didn't even have a toaster (we knew there wasn't a kitchen, but toasters are standard on all the hotels/motels I've stayed in). Finally, there was no disabled access. I have a knee injury and three flights of stairs for four days were not fun (especially getting suitcases up them).
We have stayed here a few times now. It is our "home base" when we have something on out North. Staff are great. Rooms have all the comforts of home. The bistro and bars have plenty to offer. And it is right near shops, cafes/ restaurants and public transport. Great value for money.
There was a wedding party in the Function Centre who at times were noisy going up and down the passage outside my door, and also outside my window where some people met to have a cigarette and a chat! Fortunately, I am a late owl and by the time I went to bed the people seemed to have dispersed. The bed was comfortable and I slept well. As an older person, I appreciated the lift up to the lst floor. Enjoyed a nice meal in the dining room. Staff were very helpful and pleasant.
This is our third stay at Mawson Lakes. we stay in a serviced apartment and the service, cleanliness and staff friendliness and helpfulness is wonderful. we are always impressed and feel so so relax”
We have travelled extensively in Australia and overseas and each time we stay at Mawson Lakes we thoroughly enjoy our stay. It is close to family and and as rated above we are very happy with the service and accomodation.
Great place to stay for a business traveler”
I have been travelling to the Mawson Lakes area for the last 10 years for work. For most of that period (once I discovered it) i have stayed at the Mawson Lakes hotel and have often recommended it to a number of colleagues. There are a variety of rooms to stay in, both within the hotel and also in apartments in the area. There is plenty of quality restaurants and value meals in and around the hotel. The hotel offers a large and value for money breakfast, and there are ample safe walking tracks around the lake to walk off all the calories. Katie has worked in reception for the majority of the time I have stayed there and always ensures I get the best rates and offers. Katie only asks that I book direct with her rather than online as Katie can offer me the best deals if I deal with her direct. I will continue to stay there when working in SA and recommend this hotel, particularly for business travelers - it is a tick in every box and reasonably priced.
Value for money”
Central to the Mawson town area, next to Woolworth's supermarket, close to the lake for a walk after tea. Not a lot of furniture and fittings, but adequate and comfortable. Close to the main north highway out of town, about 20 mins drive from the airport on a weekend, longer in peak traffic due to roadworks and congestion. Worth it thoughif you want to stay out of town? We will be staying there again next time we come to Adelaide.
Disapointing, mostly because the staff were a mix of friendly and indifference, the hotel staff with regard to the accommodation were friendly. I ordered a meal from the restaurant at 9:35 pm and at 10:05 it had not arrived, on inquiry I found that the order had not been placed with the kitchen, the staff were less then interested. My accommodation was a little removed from the hotel itself in a block of units which were very nice. No reference was made to the restaurant being open for breakfast and assumptions made by the staff the customers knew. Mistakes can happen, indifference is an attitude, I would not recommend the hotel to anyone.
modern, clean and spacious”
The apartments have secure parking and access, once you know where things are its easy to get to. Very modern and spacious accommodation located in and near the main hotel complex. Full cooking facilities provided with a large and modern layout. Meals are provided in room via room service or you can head to the bistro for well cooked and presented meals at decemt prices. The rates for the rooms themselves have to be a mistake, they are VERY reasonable without raking into account the huge spaces offered. The bedrooms could easily accommodate two extra full size beds and the living area is extravagant in the amount of space. The views from the balcony are reasonable, but the location of the hotel prevents spectacular views of the area
Living in the local, clean room but far from city”
Staff are nice, they let me to have early check in without extra charge. I stayed in their 1 bedroom studio for five nights. Room is fairly clean. The only thing I m not quite happy is Our studio was located at 1st floor and no lift, so it's hard for me to take the luggage upstairs with two young kids. Also, the housekeeping is only every four days which is not expected. Otherwise, it's ok overall.
Very satisfied with experience.”
Our stay was very good although we had dinner at the Hotel on our last night and the service was very slow, we waited almost an hour for food and when the food arrived it was not of a high standard. The wait made dining with a young child difficult as well as I am pregnant and the wait and food quality was an issue for me. The room was fantastic, great space and clean and great location to meet friends. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
Great location for activities we were involved in”
Stay was only overnight but everything was as we expected. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Meals were lovely. Room was very clean and functional. Car parking was a bit of a squeeze though.
Comfortable Stay in an Upcoming Residential Area”
This is a great hotel that is centrally located along Main Street in Mawson Lakes. There was a supermarket, gym and some small shops next to the hotel so it was easy to get groceries. Hotel room contains a small kitchen area so you can easily save on costs by cooking your own meals. However, as the Mawson Lakes area is mainly an upcoming residential area, there were not much attractions around to visit.
very happy and will definately return”
I enjoyed it a lot. The staff were friendly and the bar down stairs was (surprisingly) not noisy - at least i was not able to hear it from my room which was right above it. The rooms were large and clean
