Great Staff, Good Location and Comfy Bed”
The Guesthouse is on the main street and only a short ride from the river. The staff were very helpful, especially the young lad that was looking after reception and breakfast in the morning. I never got his name, I forgot to ask, but he was very attentive to all the guests. Breakfast in the morning was on an open deck area overlooking the main street and it was very filling and by far one of the best breakfasts I have had. It set you up for most of the day.. Across from the hotel there is an a place where you can rent an Ebike and the Hotel make it easy for you to do so. All in all I really enjoyed my stay, the room was old and comfortable, the shower was piping hot. The main street can be a little noisy during the day but it quietens down at night so you can enjoy the comfprtable bed.

Sehr empfehlenswert!”
We stayed 4 nights in May kha lar guesthouse and very satisfied with our stay. The staff was very friendly and helpfull. Our double bed room had a good size of 25 qm, the beds very comfortable and the everything was clean. The bad has a separated shower place, the water pressure could be better but water was warm. Room had AC and ventilator. The breakfast is very good in comp to other hostels we had before in myanmar and we could order more than one plate when we asked for. In summary we Really enjoyed oye time in hagan and in May kha lar and we would stay here again!

No basic complimentry acessories provided. Bedding could have been made with better quality. ”
Poor service by staff. E.g one staff said breakfast not included and when I showed Agoda booking, then reception staff say yes.

Staff was super nice, breakfast good, bedroom sosolala”
Staff was very kind and helpful. They allowed me an early check in (5am) and gave me extra breakfast (pancakes, fruitjuice, egg, toast, fruits) - breakfasts were always very rich! The bedroom was rather poor if you consider the price (i paid 25USD per night). It was not the cleanest, there were at least 2 cockroaches, i think there were bedbugs and no hot water. If i hadn't paid so much i wouldn't be bothered but for 25 USD I'd expect more. But because of the cool terrasse, the beautiful breakfast and the kind staff I'd still recommend it.

Excellent”
I have been staying there each and every time I go to Bagan. Breakfast on the open air terrace is the best.

Lovely little place”
Really good place, pretty noisy in the evenings but that's normal for this type of accomomodation. Shower and towels weren't the cleanest but everything else was pretty good and it's a really good location.

Good location, The hotel is nice as well as the rooms (stayed in the first floor), bit old fashion though but still nice. Staff was very friendly and helpful and we slept brilliant. Good breakfast.

Cheap but basic,old, dirty. ”
It's a more budget hotel compare to other in bagan. But the bathroom is very old and needs serious renervation. It's very dirty. Dirty blankets and old room. But nice balcony and very very good breakfast! I was happy they had something else than eggs. In Asia people think western people eat eggs for breakfast which is not the case. In almost whole Europe no one eats eggs. So I was happy about that.

Bagan”
Most places in Bagan are even more expensive than the rest of Myanmar. So don't expect much for the price. It is basic and run down. But a good location for seeing the temple's, bike rental across the road. Staff are really helpful and speak English.

Helpful staff, great location”
Staff, location, and nice dining area
The staff was always helpful and friendly, who help us to book the bus ticket and share some secret spots. We enjoyed the stay, and even made some local friends. The wifi was poor and they did not have bike or e-bike for renting. Nevertheless, I think MKL guest house is a nice place for budget traveler who what to explore the beauty of Bagan.

Accomodating and good breakfast”
The breakfast was great, some staff were very helpful, organised for us to have an early breakfast one morning when we wanted to see the sunrise. There is an e-bike store next door which is also convenient.

Cheap but not cheerful”
LocAtion, bike shop next door is good, gave us a ride to airport
It's a cheap little guesthouse that had been recommended but I guess they are going down hill a bit. Our welcome was less than enthusiastic and staff were always watching TV and never around. Our room was freezing and our bathroom was quite grim - the toilet leaked, the shower soaked the room and there was no drainage, and there were ants. Stayed a lot of places in Myanmar and have been so pleased with the cleanliness and friendliness everywhere else. Not here.

Good location. Basic and grubby. ”
Informed staff, close to e-bike rentals, good breakfast (toast and eggs, fruit, pancakes and tea and coffee), central location, not too loud
Okay, nothing special. Probably not worth the price we paid but all accom in Bagan is pricey.

Simply Avoid”
We could easily overlook the dirty mouldy room, non-existent wi-fi, boring breakfast and completely over the top price if the staff there had any shred of decency or empathy for their clients. But as this was not the case we can only suggest that you avoid this place at all cost.
