I loved everything about my stay. The service provided is excellent. The place is run by very kind locals who helped make my stay be perfect. Boat service was great; it was easy to communicate and coordinate transport. There was warm water in the bathroom. I ate breakfast and two dinners and everything tasted excellently. I loved their licuados (smoothies). They helped me with taxis in the middle of a strike that affected transportation and booking an early morning tour to Tikal, with transport and a great guide. The views were amazing. I loved waking up in a quiet and tranquil place everyday and be just a couple of steps from a beautiful lake. I slept great. To be honest, I should’ve stayed longer.

Amazing little trip”

If you want peace and tranquillity as well as a good service in a small boutique looking hotel this is your spot. Carlos treat it us amazingly and was there for any questions or requests we had. He arranged our tours, bus tickets and was our boat driver to and from Flores.
I recommend this hotel anytime.

Nice view to Flores in a quiet place with friendly and helpfull staff. If you are lucky you see and hear some monkeys. The boat captain brings you to the center at anytime.

Superb”

All the people where are working here are very friendly and helpful. We had an awesome stay at this beautiful place and enjoyed a lot the opportunity to swim around the lake on the private "beach". Furthermore the accomodation offer a good transportation service to the island(Flores). The room was clean and the shower had warm water. If you want relax and calm down i can highly recommend the Mayan Spirit.

Peaceful location”

The location is very peaceful and romantic. Nothing bothers you during the night if you prefer going to bed early. WiFi worked good, the room was clean, the owner replied to my whatsapp messages almost immediately if I needed something.
Keep in mind that you have to take a boat every time you want to visit Flores city center. The boat is free between 6:00am and 9:00pm, otherwise it costs extra Q.50.

The communication was super easy and always friendly. Stuff and owners are very nice. The place is very quiet a they have a beautiful garden and terrace to relax. Tours and transportation can be organized at the hotel as well. They have a boat shuttle that brings you to Flores for free between 6am and 9pm and takes only 5min.
It would be cool if they would have a fridge in the rooms as you are in the end of nowhere. You can also eat and drink there as they have a small restaurant. But the breakfast for example is a bit expensive for what you get.

Friendliest staff ever!”

The staff is just incredibly helpful and nice. They would anything to make you feel like at home. The location is also super cute. It’s outside Flores, with an amazing view! We woke up with the howling monkeys and it felt like we were a bit in the jungle. If you are looking for something simple, rusticai and quite and quite cheap that’s the place for you! And with local nice and friendly staff… well… you should book immediately

Perfect distance from the busy Flores town and the guys are very helpfull about driving you from and back. Calm area with a perfect sunset view.
We got tour to Tikal through the owner for 190Q. After talking to the others on the same group, they only paid 100Q. Would recomend to book trhough Mayanworldagency instead.
