Enjoyable and Fun Vacation ”
Traveled with my mom on 28th Feb - 1 Mac (2 night). My mom was very happy and enjoyable. The structure of the place looks very oldskool from outside, but it is actually unique inside. For both of us, it was a really memorable vacation. Recommended for everyone *Thumbs up! And Its actually near to the beach. Location strategic.

Stayed in chalet for 1 night”
The floor of the chalet needed a good sweep and mopping. The bathroom needed an upgrade too. However the chalet was big and living room as well as dining area was very spacious.

This resort i tell you its not maintained well old facilities, dirty and so expensive for this kind of 'resort' where its not suitable to call it a resort. If this resort have money please fixed your place cause its sad to see all the rooms were equipped with old tv and refrigerator. Better off to homestay or other place

An old dated, lack of maintenance and run down place. Such a pity that it was let to rot of what could have been such a beautiful place. Room amenities are broken or non functional. Booked a deluxe garden room which does not meet expectations Cant imagine, what a Superior room will look like.

Not so clean”
Location is good but the rooms are too dusty and the resort looks like it is falling apart. The floor was dirty and dust can be seen everywhere. Our room blanket even have holes. This is what you get for the pricing but should be maintained more and cleanliness is jone at all. Would only sleep here just for a pitstop at night and go on the road again in the morning. Pros- the staff was nice as we did not have a fridge in our room, they let us put some of our things that needs a fridge in their fridge. It is close by the beach and to lots of good stalls and seafood places.

facilities were poorly maintained, after checking in many facilities were not functioning and forcing us to contact maintenance for repairs and it interrupted our time and mood for rest, the room seemed to be out of use and there was no monitoring of room conditions before it was given to the guests, so dissapointed

There is other guest were check in and accidentally open our door with his key and that time i was no clothes and i rush to them they thought it was his room but can open the door. Very bad resort ever ive been stayed. Not recommended

Hotel very scary and the toilet with glass that facing to main roads..the hotel also was very dirty and not maintained..the picture and what you see is different the hotel is not what as you expect as you see the picture at agoda picture..agoda please make sure that this hotel out from your website cause this hotel not at your level this hotel should be at their own website cause it very poor!!!!

I travel alot all around the world and this resort is one of the nicest places I've stayed. I booked one night but because it was so nice and the staff so friendly and nice I asked to stay another night. But unfortunately they were fully booked, as was every place in Dungun. The girl at the desk went way out of her way to get me a room. She went way above and beyond the call of duty. I was amazed how much this staff was so friendly,courteous, and just downrite awesome. They made me feel like I was royalty. I can't say enough good things about them. I will not only be a frequent visitor but I will be recommending them to all my friends!

great location but too basic, need upgrading”
being in the hospitality and tourism industry, mayang sari has great concept of balinese but the whole property need upgrading and refurbishing. great potential place but no activities. recommending flat screen tvs with cables/great channels for the room, to put up with interesting and attractive decor. so many things need to upgrade.

good to stop over after long driving journey”
The management need to upgrade the room infra to add at least 2 electric power outlet. Manage to borrow hotel power extension. The aircon need servicing very very old type, had to switch room as the compressor not working. Best situated, one will not fell hungry be it day or night. Must have own transportation if to go t town, had not seen any taxi. Jogger and cyclist will fell in love as it nice to stroll along the beach and there are many beautiful spot to take photos snap.

Only stay here if you have no other choice”
I only booked into Mayang Sari because Ulek Beach Resort was fully booked on my first night in Dungun. I was very hesitant to stay in this hotel after reading all the reviews, but since its location is convenient for me to move to Ulek Beach Resort for the other 4 nights I was there, so I went ahead and booked a room. The room we got was small but it was okay for the price paid. However, the room was filthy and poorly maintained. There was mold on the wall, ad the blankets had clumps of hair left by previous guests. The toilet bowl leaked every time it was flushed. Breakfast was a complete disappointment. Due to the small number of guests staying, I think they just bought pre-packed nasi lemak from elsewhere and served those for breakfast. Apart from the nasi lemak, they also had cereal and bread, and that was it. Certainly would not come here again.

Frustration stayed at MayanSari”
what's best describe here is 'what you see in the internet does not reflect the truth. we arrive at mayang sari on the 9th june 2012 around 6.30pm. after check-in at the counter i was given a key for a room in fountain villa 2. unfortunately when we arrive at the villa, the house was occupied. i rush back to the counter and was told that i only booked for a room and not the whole house. was given another key but we can only enter by the side door of the villa. emmm...entering the room for rm140/night was not what i expected. the room was rather small, no kettle, no phone and no towels. i had to use my own phone to request for towels. unfortunately no answer. once again i have to walk to the counter and found the receptionist was not at the front desk but was chatting at the foyer. no wonder nobody answer the phone. we were tired and need for bath. after waiting for 15mins no towels were send. i have to make a second call. then only they send the towels. as for the kettle, until we check out they never send us one. the house keeper only empty the dust bin without tidy the bed or replace the mineral water, soaps etc.another thing, the swimming pool is not maintain and full of dry leaves

Comfortable and worth the price ”
I was surprise that when I booked 2 rooms in Garden Villa,I got the 2 rooms with a large living room with a fridge,microwave,iron,electric kettle and microwave oven .It worth the price that I paid .Overall the rooms and bathroom are clean but cleanliness can still be improved especially on the side table at living room dusty and stain on the glass table that not be cleaned well. I complained about the aircond in one room and within 5 minutes the technician came and get it working.Service has improved compare to about 4 years ago during my stay in the pool villa.Generally I am satisfied but if need quietness,pool villa is ok as garden villa you can hear from the other rooms.
