Great accommodation”
We really liked that the accommodation was in the middle of the city, a five min walk to all the food stalls. The family who runs the hotel was really attentive and nice. They were asking every day if we need cleaning and they provided clean towels and water every day. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable and clean. The toilet was clean as well, the only small issue was the water pressure for the shower. If we wanted a hot shower the only possible way was to turn the volume quite low. The breakfast was good, eggs in different ways, coffee, tea, fruits, cereals and milk. We also used the laundry service (twice) which was really fast and the clothes smelled nice, but was a bit more expensive than in town (15k). The only negative would be the prices for tours or transportation, they sell it a bit more expensive than what you can find in town. We had a great stay so we would recommend it! :)

Great value in central Vang Vieng ”
We booked 5 nights and ended up extending one more night. Friendly and accomodating staff and they can help book travel and tours. I highly recommend the hot air balloon! The guesthouse is located on a quiet street off the center of town so its quiet but close to everything. The room was huge and bed is comfortable. Only downside was the light curtains make the room exceptionally bright early in the morning. Rooms are cleaned every day and the breakfast was really good! Would definitely stay here again.

Great place, nice location”
Located in a quiet street not far from the riverside, Maylay guesthouse is a very nice place. Room was quite big and was clean. Aircon was not working so well as the room remained quite hot but nothing too bad either. Nice breakfast in the morning to choose from a list, with free fruits and mango smoothie. Staff was nice and helpful, spoke English and Chinese

Great tucked away spot in Vang Vieng”
We really enjoyed our stay here. It was HOT in Vang Vieng and the AC worked really well in our rooms which was awesome. The room was spacious and clean and we got fresh towels and water every days. The price also included breakfast which was simple but tasty and a good value. Would definitely stay here again!

The hosts are a young family who are extremely kind and willing to help. The room was big, quiet and very comfortable. Large comfy bed, good AC and private bathroom. The included breakfast was also really nice. Very close to center/restaurants, nicely in the middle while still being quiet. It was perfect!

Room was big, clean and comfortable. Staff really friendly and helpful during our stay, we ended up arriving in the middle of the night and Maylay Guesthouse were so accommodating of us. We did laundry here and it comes back clean and smelling great! Definitely recommend as a great place to stay in vang vieng

The room is really clean. Hygiene is definitely 5 stars. Also a big room. Staff is friendly and gives good service. The location is on a more quiet part, which is nice. You have also a shared sort of balcony on each floor, where you can sit in the sun. Breakfast is good!

Hosts are very accommodating and made me a breakfast on request. Huge room with comfy bed, aircon and hot water and super quiet with perfect location near river. Great value for money. Suits couple or solo traveller who wants quiet and relaxation.

Spacious rooms and very clean. Towels and water replaced daily. The owners were very friendly and looked after me and made my stay very comfortable. Was more of a warm family environment rather than a hotel which I really liked. I really enjoyed staying at Malay guesthouse and would definitely book again if I'm ever back in Vang vieng.

We just wanted to stay here for a night to experience how Vang Vieng is but ended up staying for 2 nights. The hotel is clean and in a good walking distance to Nam Song river. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful that make you feel like home :)

Quiet and clean mini-hotel. ”
The hotel is clean and compared to other hotels is very quiet. The main thing that was not here is the slamming of doors in the early morning. The room is large and bright. Breakfast is modest, but tasty enough. I booked this hotel at a low price and was pleased. The spring mattress is therefore not very comfortable. Cleaning done every day. The towels are clean, the linen is also clean and without any signs of wear. It is important to note that there is no hairdryer and kettle in the room. My room was without any beautiful view. In general, this hotel can stay without fear.

really liked the fact that there was a refrigerator, an air conditioner, and a private bathroom in my room. It was also very accessible to the center. If I go to Bangieng again, I really want to visit.
