I would definitely recommend this place. Staffs are very very accommodating; going an extra mile for the comfort of their guests. Very much accessible ang location. If ever I'll go back in Legazpi City, I'll choose the same hostel for accommodation. More power, Mayon Backpackers!

Perfect Location, Good Value for Money, Helpful Staff”
-Has a good view of the Mayon volcano from their roof deck -Good value for money for a backpacker + Free Breakfast -Somewhat understaff but they try their best to make ends meet -Cleans regularly the place and really looks presentable from out to in Downside: Brownout with no generator (hence, room is really hot with no available flashlight or candles) Brownout happened at noon-time, which is a good thing since there are no windows in the room.

Location is good. Far from the busy and noisy streets. Walking distance to McDonald's. Value for money. Stayed solo in a shared AC room for 2 nights 735 pesos 😉 not bad! Frontdesk lady was nice enough to offer me to leave my bags after check out. Cons: wifi is only available at the lobby.

The location is good. You can simply ride jeepney if you want to go anywhere. Very convenient. Cons: Shared Bathroom. but since we're the only one who's occupying the 3rd floor it was all ours. No elevator but still a good exercise

I stayed in 2 different rooms and it was day and night. The first one with fan was on the ground floor with no windows to be opened and get air and it was all moldy and moist inside. Even my clothes smelled like mold after one night... The second room at 2nd floor with aircon had windows, was fresh and clean, so I guess the quality of your stay will depend on the room you will get. Careful about the mattresses though, very thin. But the staff was very nice and friendly, I enjoyed the view on Mayon on the rooftop ! The place is very budget friendly anyway and should be great to meet people. Also very well located as the best part of Legazpi is in the old town called Albay where the hostel is. Would recommend but maybe ask to see the room when you check in before you settle.

My stay was hassle free. During the first night we were only two in the room so it was a peaceful night. Great choice when you're looking for an affordable place just to spend the night! Breakfast consist of scrambled egg, 3 pandesal and 3 in 1 coffee, no complaints because its free. The staff are nice and very approachable, they do the extra mile!

Perfect for solo travellers looking for a budget hostel ”
It's a budget hostel so everything is pretty basic, don't expect too much. It would've been nice if they offer free drinking water. :) The location though is perfect as it's tucked in the barangay so the street is not noisy and busy, and it's just walking distance to the highway where you can find lots of jeepneys plying around bicol. It's also near food places. I think the location is the best selling point for this hostel.

Stay was ok. You get what you've paid for. It's close to the center (5-10mins walk) The room is clean and comfortable. But he aircon is not that cold. The bathroom is outside the room - which is still ok. But it's untidy and the sink is clogged. Whenever we take a bath, we had to wait for the water to subside, which is a hassle especially if you're in a hurry. Breakfast is ok. 3 pandesal, scrambled egg, and coffee. But you can use their kitchen if you wanted to cook something else. The staff are nice and helpful. Suggestion: It was raining hard on our checkout day. There's no grab in Legazpi. So we had a hard time figuring out on how we'll manage to get to our next location. The only transportation they can offer is tricycle which is still a few minutes walk from the hostel. I suggest that they keep a taxi/private car's number for rent, since they don't offer point to point transportation to the guests.
