Exceptional”
The room was clean and great. All of the staff were approachable. There were just some trash washed away to the shore at times. There is a pool just in front of the building. Breakfast was provided, although there is no restaurant in the resort so it is advisable to bring your own (cooked/ready-to-eat) food. If not, you can go to the nearby resort that has a restaurant. Overall, it is great for relaxation time and swimming, but not for other water sports and activities since they do not offer such.

- Big and clean room but a bit old. Room has strong wi-fi connection. - Great seaside view from the room as well. No water in the pool so it's not operating but the water in the beach is clean enough for you to dive in. - With parking and easy to spot since it's on the highway. However, you might have to take a lot of steps up and down to reach the rooms. - A 10-15 minute ride to Philpan Diving Resort/Registration for Mt. Gulugod Baboy hike. - Check-in anytime and checkout is 24 hours after your arrival. - Although free breakfast was not included in our original booking, the staff gave us free breakfast! All in all, the stay was good. It was cheap and the staff was nice.

Meaco Royal Review - Room, Beach, and Beyond”
The family room was fantastic. Amazing for relaxing and unwinding. The interiors make you want to relax the moment you get in. However, please note that this is a hardwater area. I think the shower needs to be decalcified to help increase the water pressure. The heater wasn't seem to be working as well. The toilet was working perfectly. At the moment, the pool is closed. Ask them in advance about this if this is important to you. The hotel itself is about 30 steps down a slope. It's not a straight staircase but one that winds with the terrain --- so it isn't as tiring as a straight flight of stairs. For elderly people though, this might pose as a problem. There is direct access to the beach from this hotel. However, sadly, community efforts need to be implemented to stop the moderate influx of floating debris (trash) in the area. During some parts of the day, currents bring with it small pieces of trash - wrappers, cups, lighters, and such. What I can say is that I highly suggest for the staff of Meaco Hotel to clean your own shore, at least. The same can be said for all the hotels in the area. The occasional influx of trash is definitely a community matter. Under water, though, there isn't trash... so if you're snorkelling, this may be less of a (visible) problem. The parking, by the way, is ungated and it's situated 30 steps above the hotel. A few takeaways: -Bring your own food. Last I checked, the staff will allow kitchen usage --- but there is no kitchen within your room. There aren't many accessible restaurants nearby. This is really a major one: BRING FOOD WITH YOU. :) It will help you save money and effort. -Bring the bubbliest soap you can because it's a hardwater area -Bring your own water - again, it's a hardwater area and the water tastes a tad salty The biggest perks: -Check out (for 1 overnight stay) is 24 hrs after your arrival --- this is a big deal because other hotels have fixed check out times. The staff is not responding to queries and calls so I didnt expect much from this resort but when we arrived, the room is so clean and worth it. The beach is not fine but good if you want to snorkle. Overall, we were satisfied with our stay.

Blue ribbon next door was full”
I used this hotel to dive with blue ribbon next door as their hotel was full. The room here was actually larger and half the price. The hotel was closed during covid and must have recently reopened. I would stay and dive at BR for the past 2 years and this hotel was closed. My room was large and decent, especially for the price. I just stayed here to sleep and ate all my meals next door at BR and dove with them. Cons Wifi did not work Pool was drained Not sure if the restaurant was open

No staff during late arrival”
Checked in around 10pm and there was no staff to be found in the facility. Another group came in later and experienced the same thing. Had to find the staff in their quarters and wake them up to be able to get a room

We did not check in the hotel. when we got there, attendant informed us that there is no water on the faucet. pool is not operating. there is also no available food. they did not bother to process my refund and cancellation. they told me to just email the CS.

Everything is not operational”
First and foremost, upon arriving, there was noone to assist and greet us. Reception was nowhere to be found. When at last someone assisted us we were greeted by the information that the pool has no water, we asked why no one told us that it wont be operational they said it was in their fb account (out of curiosity we checked their fb page in the night and found that there was no post about it at all). Secondly, when we asked for extra bed they do not have a single bed mattress only full queen bed that can’t even fit our bedroom. We actually paid for it. Thirdly, they put us in a room where the wifi is very slow so we had to go out every time we needed to use wifi. Considering that we are the only guest on that weekday, they should've at least gave us a room with good wifi connection. We were literally the only guest that day. Lastly, in the night, we were looking for someone in the reception to assist us for the slow wifi and ask for a kettle as in the morning we would have some coffee but no-one was even available. Literally we can be killed or we can steal all the items in the room and reception and no-one will ever know. Since we already paid for it in agoda we just let this all slide, but we couldn't suggest this place at all. It is not worth the money you will pay.

Parking is far from the hotel, u gonna take a lot of stairs just to get there..Swimming pool area was there but its just a mess, no water and out of maintenance. No generator in case of brownout 🙄 Staffs were friendly and nice

Honest review: Maganda yung place, malawak, pwedeng pwede sa big groups. Need ng mapalitan ang door knobs kasi kinakalawang na pati na rin mga susi. May almost 80-90 steps na hagdan pababa para pumasok or pataas papuntang parking, not recommendable kapag may senior citizen na kasama. Yung beach pang-diving lang kaya sa pool na lang kami nag enjoy lalo may kasama kaming 2 y/o. Overall stay, nag-enjoy kami, peaceful ambiance, bakasyon kung bakasyon, bitin ang 1 night 😊😊
