very good hostel”
it's very good hostel more than i expected. For breakfast, staff was good, they always fullfilled milk, orange juice and cereal. i chose double bed. at first i thought it's small but when i came there it's ok for 2. and around hostel was light that made it seem not dangerous. moreover it's easy to go to hostel from mrt. so i like this hostel and i recommended this hostel if you want some great hostel in singapore!

Very good”
The staffs are honest, the room is clean and wide, But the bed is not good, It often creaks when I move. The bed is changed and clean every one week, It better should be done every 3 days.

Acceptable”
Staff did not explain anything when I checked in the first day, room was stuffy and smelly, and narrow. Separator between bunk beds are thin, you can hear people talk and noisy. Not recommended.

Nice place. Accesible.”
Meadows is a very good place to stay while you are at SG. near to metro and mall. Most importantly very near to food shops and beer houses.

Not the cleanest place but its cheap”
Located in a four-storey industrial shop house. They offer the best rates in town but it's quite a shabby place with stained sofa chair etc. Breakfast area is very tight but they do give bread and hard-boiled eggs. I would stay here only if I am on a tight budget. There is a nice food court just around the corner, though.

Two nights, no sleep”
We had a double 'capsule' which was basically a small double mattress with a curtain in a 24 person dormitory. It was hot and the dorm was smelly with no ventilation. It is a 24 hour hostel and people were coming and going all night. It had a tiled floor and there was a constant racket of people opening and closing the wheeled drawer lockers under the beds, opening and closing the metal lockers and packing/unpacking their giant wheeley suitcases and dragging them around the room whilst chatting, laughing and switching the light on and off. There were two bathrooms on each floor, between two or three dorm rooms and the floors were always soaked. I would definitely recommend paying a bit more for a place with smaller dorms or private rooms, if you like sleeping at night.
