Everything is okay. Just that the hotel is located a a building which there are another 2 different hotels sharing the same building. Meego at the 4th floor. The room is okay for travellers who carry light luggages because there is no additional lifts inside Meego but short staircase. Still you can access to your room without any trouble. Location is quite near to restaurant, Family Mart and subway.

Worth the price”
The location is good, the room is clean and tidy. Receptions are very helpful and their English is good, beautiful environment, great hot water and AC. Each room has a private bathroom, other youth hostels I lived before don't provide this service. Totally worth the price and I definitely will come back again!

good value to stay in the heart of Shanghai”
Good place to stay if you want to have a taste of French Concession in Shanghai. The hotel located in a quiet neighbourhood where surround by office towers and regular communities, so there are many places to eat (and open till late). a bit far from the metro stations, but many bus stops that can take to the sites. the room appear the same as the photo- clean and comfortable bed/bedding.

Walking to Jing An temple 20 mins equates to walking 15 mins to Changping station then taking the train one stop away. Location wasn't the most strategic but dorm was so clean with comfy beds. Made it easier that the six bedded dorm had its own bathroom and not just a public one. staff were nice enough to lend me an umbrella for the rainy season in Shanghai.

Exceptional”
The hostel is great, staff is very helpful, everything is nice, but there is no subways really close to the it. The nearest subway station is like 10 to 15 min walking and It is not much, but on winter days is not convenient

We appreciate your comments, and there is lot of things we will try to do it better. The closest metro station from here is Changping Road station, Line 7. It may take 10 minutes walk from here to Changping Road station. And if you want, we can call taxi for you, you can come to reception and we will call cars for you. Wish you a happy journey. :)

Clean but not comfortable at all”
Pros: - Clean rooms and toilets. - Well located. - Ok price. - Free drinking water. - Soap and shampoo in the showers. Cons: - No towels provided, not even for rent. - Very thin and uncomfortable mattress. - Bad system with keycards used for electricity. It just doesn't work when you have a shared room. - Ensuite bathrooms in the rooms have glass doors and are close to beds, you are sure to be awakened whenever someone goes to the toilet or take a shower. You hear everything also. - Doors are very loud. Beds are also noisy. - No curtains on beds, you have no privacy. - Even if smoking is prohibited, there is often a cigarette smell in the corridor and rooms. - Many people are living there, not a nice atmosphere. Many guests are inconsiderate to others. - Common area is very small and only consists of a few small couches.

The public place is too narrow and it is very unconvinced to insert any room card to connect to electricity in Hostel.

Beware of smaller than usual rooms!”
The initial room that I got looks completely different from the picture. It is so small that I get so claustrophobic staying in it. It's best for single if you ask me, not big enough to be a Queen room. It's really like the size of a utility room plus bathroom. Thankfully they change our room the next day and the new room looks a bit more decent. But there are chances you don't get a decent room so book at your own risk.
