I booked a room in Mega on a four day conference trip (room 226). The room was clean and tidy, comfortable bed, great air conditioner and hot shower. Courteous staff and a nice basic restaurant. The hotel has no amenities, but I was busy all the time with the conference and exploring the city, only used the room to keep my stuff and crash at night. I'd definitely go back to Mega. Thank you

The great location”
I stay for two night in January when the flood is come overwhelming Jakarta at that time, but closing to the hotel is dry. The room is good especially for the bed, but the bath room is supposed to be not clogged drains. For all, the price offered is correspond to the service and actually the hotel is not bad.

Good value for money and definitely better than other hotels in a similar price range. Romance is out of the question here. cheap and reasonable. my deluxe had a small bath which was good. good hot water.

Slightly overpriced”
It wasn't terribly overpriced due to its location being close to a train station and some restaurants, but as far as doing anything in the city, from there you need a taxi or bus. The WiFi is nonexistent but the aircon was good. Reception seemed quite confused at check in but after an hour sitting in the lobby, they figured it out and it turned out ok. Probably would not stay there again if I found myself in Jakarta again.

Hotel room so standard, but has amanities such as towel, soap, tooth brush. but it still expensive for those fasilities. It might be expensive because its location that near to train station and transportation way. That location make me easy go around Jakarta.

The best & shortest walking distance to RSCM hospital”
It is the best if you must accompany or visit relatives or friends under medication at RSCM or RSCM Kencana Hospital. Since it is the closest hotel with a short walking distance to and from the aforementioned hospitals. Otherwise opt for other accommodation elsewhere. It is an old hotel with very basic amenities. At daytime noises from passing by traffics and trains is very annoying; but sleeping between 21:00 - 5:00 is quite okay. Nice addition is a 24 hour Padang restaurant just next door by the same owner.

Bad Service, No Luggage Keeping”
The service quality of the staffs was very horrible, since the time I arrived. When I showed the e-voucher from Agoda, they look puzzled as if this was the 1st time they had quest from Agoda. The receptionist then give me the receipt, and said that my booking is room only although I clearly booked for a room with breakfast in agoda.com. I checked with Agoda and given a good answer, though regretfully I missed the supposed breakfast that I paid because the hotel staff seems to be ignorant, not informing me until I asked them again. This hotel doesn't have luggage keeping service either. In conclusion, I dare say that this supposed 2 stars hotel is clearly overrated.

Mega Proklamasi Hotel”
The room was comfortable and clean although bathroom was filthy. Restaurant was quite expensive and horrible Karaoke show was going on in the evening. Hotel staff was not knowledgable about the city at all (tuk-tuk driver knew better). Wifi available only in the room. No breakfast. It was walking distance to Cikini station but there was not much going on around the hotel.

Location is near the seminary which could be the most convenient place to stay when need to visit the seminary. Other than that it is quite far from other tourist places. The rooms are very dark and gloomy hence I would not want to stay there again.
