Worth your money!”
The name as "MegaBoom" sounds a bit dodgy BUT it is really value for money! The location is like 3-4minutes walk to QVB and super close to anywhere such as Garden or the Mall. The room is spacious. Bathroom was big and the bed was perfect! Others reviewed this place as pretty small or cramped in but in my opinion, this is perfect for your vacation in Sydney! Since you will be out most of the day therefore, you don't need a view or balcony, just a simple room with a really great price! PLUS, the staffs here are so friendly and helpful! We will surely stay at Megaboom again next time we're in Sydney! :)

Everything is good”
Located in Sydney CBD, close to town hall. I didn't catch any public transport except going to the airport because everything is close by (you may need to use public transport if you don't like walking long distance). I walked to Potts Point from the hotel and it took me about half hour. But I really enjoyed it. Hotel itself is good, reasonable price and very clean. I'm definitely coming back.

First stay but won't be the last”
My first stay at Megaboom & I could not fault it. Very conveniently located in the heart of the city close to train stations & light rail stops, supermarket opposite, 2 minute walk to Westfield shops & Pitt Street Mall. Very clean & comfortable room, very quiet with soundproofing. Will definitely stay here again & highly recommend this hotel.

Exceptional”
The room I booked was small, but it was exactly what I needed/expected for an overnight in the city, clean, well placed, and a super comfy bed. Bathroom, bed, coffee making facilities, phone, clock and lamp on bedside table, with a PowerPoint for my charger and also a small fridge. Reception check in, was super easy, and efficient, I was in my room very quickly after arrival, can't put my finger on it, but she just gave off a calming vide and was a genuinely lovely person to deal with. Only prob I did have was that my keycard didn't work on the stairwell access to the reception. This wasn't a big a problem as the door faces the reception desk, and the chap at reception could hear me having trouble almost immediately, additionally there is an elevator which didn't require the keycard if I no-one had heard me (if outside reception hours). Near to the QVB and one street over from George street, which has the tram . Will definitely stay here again.

Amazing! ”
very nice hotel, perfect after a long trip ! I arrived at 2pm and I was tired because of the jetlag, the bed was so comfortable that I slept 15 hours in a row! the room was very clean and perfect for single travelers or couples.

Exceptional”
Room was lovely and decent space bathroom was nice and clean and the room even had a small table and stool for me to do my makeup. Only thing i wish it had was a full length mirror. I work at rydges in housekeeping and i rate this room to be the same standard.

Short but pleasant stay ”
I stayed for one night and the service was exceptional! From the beginning to the end the staff were accomodating. I feel that the room size and cleanliness were perfect for someone who wants to explore the city and have a nice place to rest. The location is great, so close to everything in the city centre. The room had strong curtains which blacked out everything allowing for a deep sleep. I requested an ironing board and it arrived within 5 minutes, exceptional place to stay. Highly recommended as a single female traveller.

Comfortable stay in the CBD”
Pros: Hotel location is close for you to walk conveniently between Wildlife Sydney Zoo, Madame Tussauds, Sea Life Aquarium, Sydney Tower Eye, the luxury stores and groceries at Pitt St and the QVB. The receptionist was kind to give us a room upgrade so we really loved the space provided for us. Amenities include toiletries (except dental), towels, hairdryer, mini fridge, mini kettle, coffee, tea and bottled water. Hot water saved us from the freezing temperature outside. Our room has a Smart TV and the channel selections were great. Cons: No bidet. Shower area can use more shelves to place personal toiletries. Internet does not reach our floor; luckily we didn't need it too much as we are always outside. If you are sensitive to noise, this hotel is not recommended because you can hear (and feel) the subway train passing by underground every few minutes. There are also a lot of trucks outside during night for an ongoing construction maybe and garbage collection.

Great place to stay”
It was my first time to be in Sydney CBD. Above all the places where to stay (as seen in Agoda Booking Site), this hotel has caught my attention. I have seen a number of good reviews and those were validated as I stayed there for a week. The place is near to the shopping malls and tourist spots like Sydney Opera House and many more. Also, close to number of transport systems like Light Rail (tram), metro trains, ferry and bus. I have a pleasant stay in this hotel because the staffs were accomodating. Those stationed in lobby were chinese but they are good in communicating English. For little improvement, for facilities (4/5) wifi connections should be fixed because when evening comes, connections were unstable (for some reasons). I like everything. When given a chance, I will be staying here again. 很好👌👍🏽！

Probably the best value for money option. I've been looking for a short 4-day stay place for solo traveller across hotels and AirBnbs and was lucky to come across this place. Prime location, neat room, quiet for a good sleep (at least on my level 2), friendly stuff. Will be coming back there for sure.

Hidden Gem”
Great location, great price. Staff were efficient and friendly. Room had everything you need. Only slight negatives were that parking was 3 blocks away, only a slight inconvenience with adequate planning, and the occasional hum of the trains going under the hotel at night. It was perfect for my needs.
