Disappointed”
Overall not too bad a stay for 11 nights, with a few exceptions. I travel the world and have never had as many sleepless nights due to mosquito bites in my room as I got here. Every morning my sheets were stained with bites from the blood. Two stagnant ponds greet you at the entrance, this is where they breed. Breakfast was poor and slow to the extreme

Hotel staffs were very accommodating and attentive to the needs of the guests. ”
Room was big enough and clean. You get more than what you pay for. What's good about local hotels is that staffs give you the best tips on how to maximize your experience. They were also very kind and accommodating. Perfect hotel for first time travellers.

Friendly Staff, Strategic Location”
The premise just located at night market area, a lot of food choices within 5km. The staffs are friendly and polite, willing to help when asking for help.

Satisfactory”
Pros: Near to halal restaurant, good for Muslim families and couples. Good price for this hotel. Staffs were trying their best to help. Big room that is actually comfortable with big bed and very cold fridge. Easy to reply emails. Exterior of the hotel very nice. Cons: no lift so don't book the higher level if you are not capable. Breakfast came in set and are too light, have to take another breakfast outside. Hard to notice the hotel the first time as it is very hidden. Low-pressure shower. The room was 'not right', there was a small glass wall on the wall high up that let the light goes directly to the bed that makes you hard to take a nap. Our room got problem with the shower so we have to change room twice. Suggestion to the hotel: Would recommend blackout curtains but add some more lighting in the room. Make the curtain rod longer so it covers the whole window/sliding door. Place a broom in the room for easy cleaning as we always accidentally bring back dust and sand from outside. Lose the glass wall, it was not doing any good. Check the water heater and water pressure often. And instead of giving 2 complimentary combs in every bathroom, you can give 1 comb and 1 razor. Recommended for budget traveler, but if you get any more budget, you can get a better one than this.

Acceptable”
Location is good but street is horrible and there is noisy construction around the building. These things the hotel can't help. There were many things it could help. Breakfast was included so we ate there the first morning. It was really bad. We've traveled all around Southeast Asia for months at a time. This time we are 5 weeks into our trip of 3 months. This was the worst breakfast we've ever had. We never ate there again. We played cards in the breakfast room every night. Due to this we had to remove the table cloths and saw how filthy they were. Each night we removed the same filthy table cloth and they just put it back on in the morning, dispite there being cleans ones on the "boat" like table in the breakfast room. This happened for 4 nights and by the filth of the table cloths the first day, they must have been well over a week of use. Th staff were very pleasant but that is standard in Southeast Asia. I don't recommend this hotel at all. Plenty of others in the area at this price mark.

Good location”
I stayed 2x in this hotel because it is reasonable, just a few minutes walk to Pub Street where the restaurants and shops are. Staff are helpful and friendly. Just need to improve the toilet, at least they should use shower curtains, so when you take shower, the toilet stays dry, though, towels are clean, they are too small and thin. Overall, still a good hotel for budget travellers.

Great service from manager (Mr So Kifi), punctual pickup from bus terminal, good friendly tuktuk driver. ”
Mr Kifi was very helpful prior to the trip, helping us arrange for tuktuk pick up and Angkor Wat tour. Prices quoted for tuktuks were all reasonable and not marked-up just because the hotel arranged it. Excellent service, clean basic rooms, nothing much to complain about!

Perfect”
To be honest, I was kinda surprised to see the hotel. I thought it was going to be somewhat like a boutique hotel I got in Phnom Penh. However, my disappointment quickly vanished as soon as I saw how friendly and accommodative their staff are. They would try their best to assist you. Another positive thing about this hotel is how comfy their room was. It feels that you are in your room not in a hotel room. The room was spacious for the three of us. My family and I were pleased with the room (how comfy and spacious they were), the staff, and the breakfast. The latter, I had thought I would need to ask for non meat food, but they provide garlic bread that we ended up having for the rest of our trip. This hotel is close to Muslim family kitchen restaurant and other Halal restaurants. It is also close to night market. Near the night market there is a halal kebab stand that offered delicious kebab. All of my family think this is our best hotel from all of the hotels that we had from our trips (Malacca, KL, and SR). Keep up the good work staff 👍.

Nice large clean rooms but breakfast was awful!”
Staff was nice! I stayed a couple of days and I stayed in 2 different rooms. The hotel location is good, located on a quite side strew and only a short walk to the main road. Lots of places to eat near by. Rooms are large and clean. Air con worked fine. However, water pressure was not so good. Also, sometimes there was no hot water or there was no cold water. In one room, I only had a bath with shower nozzel, but there was not a shower curtain so if you took a shower water sprayed all over the floor. A Plus, lots of English TV channels, CNN, BBC, CNBC plus FOX movie etc etc. A negative...the breakfast They bring you a menu with pictures of various food items...however none of the food they served looked like the pictures...they advertised ingredients they didn't even have and on top of that the food did not taste good! If you are looking for a good breakfast don't stay at this hotel! Or stay at the hotel and skip breakfast!

I felt comfortable here. The staff were nice. They also helped us to book other services like tuk tuk, car, entrance tickets. The location is good since it is at the central and near the night market. The room is clean.

Everything would have been perfect if not for the faulty shower facility”
Room/ Hotel: Facilities (Air-Con, Wi-Fi) were working fine. There are some mosquitoes in the room (the hotel has lots of plants near the entrance, so possible breeding grounds for mosquitoes), but as long as you apply repellent at night u won't be disturbed (I'm prone to mosquito bites but didn't get any during my stay). Room is clean and very spacious. Main issue I had with the room was the shower facility - There was a problem with the cold water function (especially at night). It was simply not working so the water was SCALDING hot and became very hard for us to take a shower. Although counter staff were kind enough to check out the issue, they did not have the technical knowledge as to how to solve the problem. Seems to me that the problem could be due to low supply of cold water in the water tank, as it only happens at night. Hotel management should get this fixed ASAP if they don't want visitors to find other hotels. There's no elevator in the hotel so older travelers may want to stay at the lower levels. Location: About 10 mins walk away to the touristy areas (Pub zones/ night market). Very conveniently located (convenience store a stone's throw away, with a few good food locations nearby - try Dee's Cafe for tasty, cheap and affordable Khmer's food) Staff: Friendly counter staff, can speak English. There's a security post at the entrance too, but sometimes it's empty. Breakfast: Nice, simple breakfast provided. Can choose from a menu. Overall: Everything would have been perfect if not for the faulty heating/cooling shower function.
