A Hotel Not To Be Missed”
The first thing that impressed us was the professionalism and friendly efficiency of the registration counter staff. They spoke good English and were ever willing to help, especially in giving accurate directions or projecting accurate fares for tuk-tuk rides, thereby helping to preventing hotel residents from being fleeced by tuk-tuk drivers who congregated outside the Siem Reap terminus of a new popular inter-city coach from Phnom Penh. The hotel itself was very clean and located in a street with many credible eateries. Breakfast consisted of fried noodles, toast, three kinds of fruit, an egg station with a choice of sunny-side ups or scrambled, fruit juice, fresh milk, brewed coffee and tea, which was much much more than any adult person could hope for or could consume at breakfast. I have ear-marked Mekong Angkor Palace Hotel for future visits to Siem Reap and I would certainly recommend this hotel to couples who wish to enjoy the friendly atmosphere, soak in the Cambodian culture and have a good relaxing holiday. And, for anyone who is interested, the WiFi works!

Fantastic week in Siem Reap!”
We arrived earlier than our check-in time and were immediately escorted to our rooms, which were large and clean. The staff could not do enough for us. We had initially booked 3 nights but stayed for a further 4 nights because we enjoyed it so much! The pool was clean and open until 9.30pm with shower facilities beside the pool. There was a dining area and bar at the pool which was always manned. The hotel itself was a in great location and always quiet. It was a short walk from the centre of Siem Reap and tuck-tuck drivers were always available outside the hotel. If I was to return to Siem Reap I would be booking back into Mekong Angkor Palace, I wouldn't even look at another hotel, it was probably the best place we stayed during our month long trip through Cambodia and Vietnam.

Great location and service”
this is my 1st time booking hotel with agoda. com and it is a great choice. my friend & i know about angkor wat very little. this trip is such like our adventure. we arrived at the siem reap airport in the morning and i was worried to find taxi go to the mekong angkor palace hotel. unexpectedly, the hotel had arranged tuk - tuk for us to pick up. what a good deal !!! we got our room as soon as we checked in and the room was clean. my friend enjoyed swimming every morning while we stayed there and we also had breakfast free. the hotel is in the center of city but quiet location. that why i fell asleep while i had been massaging in my room.

Still one of the best mid-range options in town”
Having lived in Siem Reap for 6 years i sometimes stay here in-between house rentals and when i'm on the move. I'm happy to say that it is still good, especially the staff who remain as welcoming, friendly, and helpful as ever. I think breakfast was better in the past, but that is just my opinion, as it now caters mostly for Chinese visitors who make up the majority of tourists in Siem Reap so that is understandable. There is little on offer for vegetarian diets and the bread/croissants etc are not good (which is a shame in a country with such wonderful bakeries). Don't expect arabica coffee or fresh juice - from past experience at this hotel it looks like some costs have been cut and it's breakfast that took the hit. However, Siem Reap is currently swamped with new cheaply built so-called 'boutique villas' looking to milk the tourism boom. Mekong Angkor Palace occupies an excellent location in the middle of town, is well maintained, and remains ahead of the new upstarts.

Nice hotel, friendly staff”
Mekong Angkor palace, like the rest of Cambodia, has very friendly staff who make you feel at home. It's a nice place to stay in Siem Reap. Nice clean, big rooms with clean bathrooms and linen. Located in the town center and not very far from the temple complex. The hotel has a fleet of friendly tuk-tuks who can take you all around the places at a very reasonable price. Over-all a very nice, budget friendly and vlaue for mpney hotel. Would recommend to all.

A great place to spend your nights in Siem Reap”
We had a great stay at the Mekong Angkor Palace Hotel. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful with anything we needed. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the pool was great. We took the night bus out of Siem Reap and the hotel let us continue to use the pool and shower after we had checked out, which was great. I would definitely stay there again!

I stay at Mekong Angkor Palace Hotel every time I go to Siem Reap, which is often! Their buffet has a good variety, the pool is nice, the bathrooms are great in the deluxe rooms, and the staff are very friendly. The manager welcomed me by name when I went the last time.

Wonderful hotel in Siem Reap”
Thsi beautiful, new, clean hotel is centrally located in Siem Reap; not too far from the temples, and on the main road near restaurants, shops, and pubs. The hotel staff is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable, and well-furnished. The pool is an excellent additional amenity; very refreshing to enjoy a swim after a day of sightseeing in the heat. The breakfast served in the restaurant (included in the price of the room) was basic but sufficient. Also, the staff was very good about making a packed breakfast to go if you plan a day trip, just ask in advance. The service at the restaurant in the morning was a bit slow. If you arrange for the free pick-up from the hotel, leave it at that with the driver of the car. You will be better off (financially and experience-wise) making a deal with a tuk-tuk driver to take you touring.

Value for money and service with a smille”
Our four day stay at this hotel started with a free pick up at the airport. It was reassuring to find the tuk-tuk driver sent by the hotel holding our name placard at the exit (one is always uncertain when the booking has been done on the internet). The 15 minute drive to the hotel was very pleasant and the tuk tuk driver was very friendly. The check in was a breeze. The room had all the promised amenities; the view, however, left us wanting. The window opened into the drive way and the parking lot, and being on the ground floor made it impossible to keep our curtains open. The general lighting level in the room was not very good, all low wattage bulbs. They fixed it, though, after a couple of days by changing the bulb to a higher wattage one. The highlight of the hotel, without doubt, is the very well maintained swimming pool. Great way to relax after a tiring day walking through all those monuments. Breakfast, included in the room tariff, was sufficient, though very basic in terms of variety. It reminded me of Henry Ford who said one could get his car in any colour as long as it was black:). It consisted of eggs (fried or crumbled (scrambled), no omelette, two bread slices with butter and jam, mixed fruit and tea or coffee. The tuk-tuk (an auto rickshaw) driver arranged by the hotel was very courteous and helpful. The charge for a day's outings varied form $15 to $20. Incidentally, the USD is the defacto currency accepted by one and all; no need to change your money here. The other big advantage of this hotel is its location; within a short walking distance of the central area. The old market, the Central market, the night market and the Pub Street are all less than 10 minutes walk. Made for a nice stroll after dinner. For those interested in Indian food, there is a nice Indian food restaurant on the main road right as you come out of the hotel. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this hotel and will certainly consider it again if we visit Siem Reap again.

Wonderful, Satisfying & Heavenly Experience ”
Both my wife & I just had the time of our life at Mekong Angkor Palace Hotel. From the day we arrived at the Siem Reap International Airport on 9th of March 2016 will we checked out on 9th of March 2016, I just felt like in heaven. But my stay was stained by a bit of HELL due to 2 incidents which may be minor but to me, they were like HELL! The location was perfect. The room was comfortable 77 Clean. The first incident was on 11th of March 2016. As usual it was very HOT. We just came back from Angkor Wat. Hot, sweaty & very thirsty. The usual bottles of drinking water were not in our room. We left a message at the reception to have the water ready when we came back from from lunch. Just a very simple REQUEST! But somehow such a simple request turned out to be the hardest task for the front desk staff. The water were not there when we came back from lunch. We will send them to your room. That was the answer from the staff. After more than one hour & 4 calls to the reception went unheeded, I finally lost my temper. I shout at the staff the fifth time. Surprisingly, it worked. Within seconds, the water came. Incident number 2 was at the breakfast area on my last day, 9th of March 2016. After pouring 2 cups of hot coffee, a staff there knocked into me, causing HOT coffee to spill on my left hand. The pain was so intense. No offer of medical assistance was even offered. I would have had a perfect stay at your hotel if not for these two incidents. I am unsure whether I will ever come back again here in future.

Warming hotel with lovely swimming pool”
it was great that mekong angkor hotel provided us free pick up at early morning. about 15 minutes, we settle down everything at standard room (rm202), for few hours sleeping, we requested to change or upgrade the other room, due to the water heater was not service well, i afraid that no hot water for shower at night. later reception allow us to stay rm 203 without extra charge, here was a comfort and bigger that rm202. dont forgot to try lunch or dinner at meknong angkor restaurant, where are nice sitting, pool side tables are always occupied by people, because free wifi, we can enjoy music, computer game or get tan near pool. breakfast is very good i comment, french bread/ toast / round bun + sunny egg/ crumble egg / steam egg/ fried egg + coffee/ tea/ milk / juice. we went to see sun rise at 5, then came back eat a breakfast at 8:30. it was perfect arrangement and reasonable for us. take tuk tuk to pub street/ night market only $1-us; and 10 more minutes hotel to airport only $5-us. we look forward to visit siem ream and here warming hotel again we stayed for 3 night here, i gave 90 marks. 10 marks for no lift to going up , but we stay second floor , it is not a problem really.

Brilliant value and location”
this was my second stay at this hotel and it was even better than the first as there is now a lift to the upper floors. the room was spacious with two double beds and an ensuite shower room with plenty of hot water. breakfast was included in the price and consisted of fresh french bread butter and jam, fruit and a choice of eggs. the swimming pool was a bonus in a budget hotel, but it could be hard to get a sun bed in the sun as much of the pool was shaded by the hotel building in the afternoon. there were tuktuks outside the hotel most of the time and if not, reception would call one and advise on fares -- easier than haggling in the street. the staff were friendly and helpful and spoke good english. they arranged our trip to a silk farm and helped us contact the coach company about our onward journey to siem reap as well as helping us with travel to angkor wat and other temples.

Good location and nice little budget hotel”
The Mekong Angkor Palace Hotel was a nice little haven tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the Siem Reap city streets. It's located off the main road so wasn't noisy at all. The hotel is clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool area is nicely maintained. The beds comfortable and having warm running water in the ensuite to wash away the dust after a busy day of sightseeing was nicely refreshing. I would recommend a stay at this hotel if you aren't looking for upmarket accommodation. Very nice little hotel.

Charming oasis of a hotel”
I very much enjoyed my stay at the Mekong Angkor Palace Hotel. The rooms were nice and the staff was very friendly and attentive. It was a ten minute walk to the Pub street and when I figured that out I saved on the Tuk Tuk fees. Despite being in a very busy area the hotel itself was quiet and peaceful. The staff was quick to help with any problem and the guest all seemed to be having a good time lounging poolside. Try the fish pedicure. It tickles and the place to the left as you leave the hotel gives you a free beer with the 15 minute $1 treatment.

We would like to express my gratitude to Mr.Para (Front Office Officer) for the smooth c/in c/out and helping me to arrange Airport Pickup during my arrival. Very pleasant hotel, great location - but tired”
The Mekong Angkor Palace Hotel is very centrally located, has excellent friendly staff and a good selection of facilities. My only criticism is that the decoration is very tired in places and obvious patch up repairs are visible everywhere. However, as we were out visiting temples most of our stay this didn't reduce our enjoyment of Siem Reap. Breakfast is included but is a simple affair of Baguette and Egg. However, it's enough to keep you going for a bit.

Good location hotel at affordable price ”
The Mekong Angkor Palace Hotel is walking distance from the night markets of Siem Reap. It has a pool, for those interested in taking a dip during the hot Cambodian summer. The hotel has the ambiance of an old house that has been converted into a modern hotel. The entire hotel is decorated well, to preserve the feel of old Cambodia. Rooms are adequately sized, complete with all modern amenities, including bathtubs in the bathrooms. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Great Hotel”
The Hotel is centrally located and very comfortable. The staff, Vath Saravuth and his assistants, Pisith, Lineth & Roth, made me very welcome and were able to assist in many ways for my nine (9) day stay in Siem Reap. The room was spacious and very quite. The breakfasts were great and a good selection of food. As a photographer I will use this Hotel on my return visits to Siem Reap.
